Hello guys & gals:

In your opinions, who is the best guru copywriter to hire, for a reasonable price.

Many thanks for your feedback

If you want to go on the expensive but very professional side, maybe you should think of the the "mens with pens" team. Google for it, it is a very well known copywriting blog that could help you with that.

Just about all the big-name copywriters are more than reasonably priced when you take into account your ROI.

But if you don't take that into account then they're all ludicrously overpriced.

If you really are looking for a 'guru' copywriter then you need look no further than Warrior Forum member Vin Montello.

Find out how you can produce powerful, fist-pumping profits with a rock-em, sock-em sales system created by a former robotics engineer who rips apart winning sales copy to see what makes it tick so she make yours even better…PM me for details

--- if that's true then why don't copywriters also work with a variable cost comission. because the prices for them are way to high.

Also, on other forums I've noticed people saying not to pay over like $20 for a copywriter...

But you show me someone who will make copywrite for my series of ebooks, and get paid per sale.... or a combination of the two.

        Teachable Moment:

Get a clue before you walk into a forum full of professional copywriters and barf all over the floor like the corner drunk.

All it does is create a mess.

Good luck with your $20 copywriters from DP.

As copywriters we're operating in essentially a free market, which means the price we can charge comes down to supply and demand.

If our copy doesn't deliver then we won't be in demand.

And if we're not in demand then we can't charge so much.

Supply and demand explains an awful lot about how business works, I'd highly recommend studying at least one economics book - it will change the way you view the world.

Writing a sales page will easily take 1-2 weeks for a quality job. A $20 copywriter is an article writer. And a very low quality, non-native English speaking one at that.

If you want a copywriter to work for commission only, then make a post here, you'll get plenty of people contacting you.

No one knows your product better than you do. Chances are, if you hire a cheap copywriter you won't see any better results than if you did it yourself.

Take the money you saved and send BUYERS to the site.
Agreed. If you don't have the budget you might as well do it yourself. After 1.5 years working closely with my niche and giving consultations, I know them better than anyone.

Once you start to make serious money you can think of redoing your sales letter by a pro.

Can you define 'reasonable'? There are writers who are good value in many price ranges.

If you let us in on your budget I'm sure you can locate a writer who can help you.

    Bobby,

Not sure what you mean by reasonable... if guru Dan Kennedy was willing to take your project, his fee would be $100K plus ongoing royalties. Kennedy has the track record and following to command those types of fees.

Most guru copywriters I know are no longer taking clients and the ones I know of who are, you'll spend at least $20K plus royalties for their help.

The better question to ask might be who are the best copywriters for your niche and your preferred budget.

    Take care,

    Mike

Talk about an oxymoron. When you want the best you usually have
    to pay the best.

There is no reasonable. There is no best. Everything is contextual, meaning based upon the circumstances, opportunity and the outcomes anticipated.

However: There are copywriter folks who are reading this thread right now who are very, very good at what they do. I have seen their work. They are honest and ethical and have gobs of proof and integrity as well as an incredible work ethic and desire for your success.

Can't name names--that would be inappropriate and inconsiderate of quality up and comers who I do not know yet. But flush them all out or let them all flush you out. And see if it's a deal between.

Guru?:p Ok since you put it that way then price shouldn't really be an option for you -Realistically speaking if you're looking for top of the line copy then expect to pay top of the line prices. No way around it

If your on a buget (and by budget I mean a couple of thou) then Vin is definitely your man

      Good Luck

Mark, I'm no math expert, but I know for a fact that your numbers are way off. Get together eight or more of those "couple thousands" and Vin might add you to his schedule.

Figure out which you want more, the guru or the deal. You're definitely going to pay a pretty penny for the guru (and get every cent's worth), but you don't have to hire one to get quality copy written for you.

If you narrow it down a bit, people here will direct you to the person who would be most appropriate and competent.

    Hello,

I think there are many good copywriters, who haven't reached 'guru' status at large, but their clients sure do think they/we are!

I'd suggest that you look at their work and then have a conversation with a few. I think the MOST important thing to look for (after seeing kickass work) is how they 'think.'

If I weren't a writer, I'd want to know I had a critical thinker to write for me. Someone, who would have some real marketing experience under their belt!

    Those are my 2cents!
