It can be a big leap from taking something for free to taking out your credit card and actually paying for something, so you cannot assume that they are qualified and are interested in buying from you.

I would have a shorter teaser email and send them to your sales page.

Hi Virginia. Thanks for your input. Yes people have bought, but this email will only go out to people who have subscribed and haven't bought yet.

This is the perfect email to tell a story... to remind folks' about childhood memories or old times of Holiday's past where music was an integral part of the experience.

Tell a story about how the music brought everybody together, got everyone involved in the excitement, and was the highlight of the evening. Maybe it created a transformation in the mood, a change in someone who participated, or simply was a bonding moment.

Put simply, there's a lot more room to get more emotional. The customer may be buying this course to impress others, but I suspect the bigger reason for this time of year is he/she has memories of singing Christmas carols with friends/family and time spent around the piano.

Anyway, I suspect this is a great time for this promotion. Good luck!

Here's my second take basedon Hans's suggestion. I think this approach is much better:

I remember as a young child on Christmas Day evening visiting my uncle John’s house. It was always the highlight of the day for me...even as exciting as opening my presents in the morning, because it was a real big family get together and I loved that.

But what made it extra special was when we all moved into the music room with our drinks. An open fire was burning, the Christmas tree lights illuminated our faces, uncle John would sit down at the piano and we’d all gather around and sing together.
