Taking a Site Down
Ages ago I did the copy for a clients website.
And knowing nothing about putting up sites - the client got a web company to do all that for him.
The client has done well, and now wants to retire.
The legal details on the website are "regulated" in the UK and the regulations are changing on the 1st March - so if the site stays as it is, it could get the client into trouble.
So, the website urgently needs to be taken down.
The problem is - the web company has disappeared with all the codes and whatever else is needed - no one else has these details.
How on earth can the client get rid of the site?
Your help on this would be greatly appreciated.
