Need a copywriter for email copy

Hello copywriting warriors,

I am looking to hire a copywriter to help with writing copy for an email to send out to my list to fill out a survey of 10 questions.

This project was already awarded to another copywriter from this forum and the result is as follows:

First mailing on 19th July 2011
Sent: 1,326
Clicks: 14
Survey completion: 4

Second mailing on 21st July 2011
Sent: 1,320
Clicks: 10
Survey completion: 3

Therefore across 2 mailing using the same copy, conversion from clicks to survey completion:
7 / 24 X 100 = 29.17%

I already contacted 2 other copywriters on this forum. One of them passed on the project and the other is too busy right now to take on this project.

To this end, if anybody feels that they can help me, please PM.

Thank you.

If you are wanting an improvement to your survey count, it can be difficult for a pro to do it because in the eyes of your readers you are only as good as your last email.

Unfortunately for the copywriter, he/she can be heading into a minefield because of the unknown.

Some list owners gloss over the bad points or are blind to this.

Without knowing and trusting the list owner, a pro copywriter would value his/her
    reputation over the money.

    Best,
    Ewen

      Exactly this.

... I wouldn't poke this job with a ten-foot pole simply because you may have lost the trust of your list.

You could hire 'the best copywriter in the world' who could piece together a brilliant piece -- and still see poor results.

If I were you, I'd provide your list with some freebies first. Get them interested in following your e-mails again. Treat them well over the next week or two.

Once you do that, maybe attempt another e-mail to get them to fill out your questions and maybe, MAYBE, you will see significantly better results with the help of a skilled copywriter.

And certainly let us know how it goes.

... if it seems that your list is 'turning around' and responding favorably to you treating them like royalty, I may be interested in writing you so copy that will 'test the waters' when it comes to trying to turn them into conversions again.

At this point, it is a very delicate process. Just be patient with it.

Many thanks for taking the time to assist. It is very much appreciated.

To start with, my math says you got .009% click response and less filled out your survey.

    24 responses for a 2652 piece mailing is 24/2652=.009%
7 surveys filled out is 7/2652=.003%

You could have done that well without a copywriter...

Point taken and hopefully I can move forward. Thanks.
