Sales Copy for Service same as Product?

Hey you copywriting pros!
I rarely venture onto this section of the forum but I need some of your advice if you don't mind. These might seem like fairly newbie questions but (I am not a sales-copy guy...more of a SEO guy)
1) Is copywriting for service the same as a copywriter for a product (do you follow the same system or funnel?)
2) Also I need someone to tighten up our WSO Sales page for SEO. How much should I expect to pay and how do you choose a good copywriter? (so many on the warriors for hire forum...it's confusing lol)
3) Would you recommend one of those Fancy images sales copy or would a simple text sales copy be better?
