Are there any reputable services/companies out there who actually analyze and can even create a landing page for your product? My product isn't converting too well and I want to get it professionally done. I would appreciate any help with this. Thank you!

You could always pay for a full analysis / critique Richie. This might in your case be a lot more cost effective than fully employing the services of a copywriter for your landing page.

I'm sorry you felt my quote last night was too high for you, personally, I thought it was most reasonable given the amount of research and restructuring your sales copy would require.

I did actually ask you to get back to me with what you considered to be a fair price, what you would be prepared to invest but unfortunately I didn't hear another word from you.

Seems to me you just want dirt dirt cheap. But the question to ask yourself is this... are you looking at this as an expense you can do without or as an investment in your business, in your future?

How much faith do you have ultimately in your product?

What is your emphasis? Where does it lie? Are you absolutely categorically sure you have the right attitude towards this business?

Copywriting is not as I said to you yesterday an expense you can do without. It's an investment in your business and looking at it in any other way doesn't bode well for you.

You really need to think carefully about this. I say this only to help you because it's patently obvious this process is hurting you emotionally a great deal.

Choice is yours. You can either struggle on making mistake after mistake which is costing you dearly in lost time and potential revenue or...

...dip your hand in your pocket, do whatever you have to, to find the money for a pro copywriter and have this person (whoever this ends up being) have them completely turn this around for you for the better.

Do you want to carry on being in pain or do you want a solution from a seasoned pro who knows exactly what s/he is doing?

Do whatever you have to to raise the necessary cash and in a relatively short time with the right traffic directed towards the offer - this investment might just pay for itself many times over.

    Think about it.

    Good luck,

Mark, I appreciate the honesty. However, I got a copywriter with a much better rate than what you quoted me on. She worked at an agency and does copywriting for some huge clients. If it doesn't work out, I will reach out to you. And I am certainly not being "cheap". I just know how to get the most out of my budget. And I am not struggling "emotionally" with this as you say I am. I have a RANGE of other products. This is just one of the many. Many of my other products are doing quite fine. E-books and landing pages are not all that we do and they are certainly not what I base my business off of.

I live for the day when people come here for knowledge and information sharing instead of pointless attacks.

Of course, this is the internetz. The realist in me knows this day will never come.

Gordon - the more douchey comments to which I was referring have since been removed. I promise, the sense of humor lives, even if it appears to be on life support.

To the OP - I tend to agree with Mark. Given the number of times I've seen you here asking for help for this particular project, it might be worth the investment to go pro. If you've already done so with a copywriter, more power to you.

Hey Angie- I think you may be mixing me up with someone else, as I have never asked Mark for help with a landing page, copywriting or a website critique,

That's what I get for sticking my big nose in, hmmf.

Ah, don't take it personally Richie, we copywriters are a straight-shooting bunch, I'm sure Mark is like me - we'd rather you were under ZERO illusions in your business, than trying to kid ourselves with something that's not going to work. I can't comment in depth of course

It's okay Brian. Richie actually emailed me before writing this post. We're on good terms. I quoted him just under $800 to rewrite this on his behalf.

Reckons he's now found someone, a big hitter apparently who has agreed to do this for $100.

      I merely shrug. No comment.

      It's all good.

Best of luck Richie, I hope it brings you in the success you're looking for.

        MuscleProdigy,

Is this landing page for Google (PPC), cold traffic (SEO), or affliates?

Because the answer to your question will shape how the landing page SHOULD be designed.

Google just updated their landing page requirements for PPC. And most Warriors, aka $100 warriors, probably don't know or understand what this means.

When you go about hiring whoever you choose, ask them what their conversion rates are for PPC, SEO, & Affliates. Also, ask them how they are currently handling the updated adwords landing page requirements.

A poorly done adwords landing page WILL get you banned.

Gordon - the comments I had for you were addressed to you, and were specifically in reference to your comment about humor. The comments directed to the original poster (OP) were also marked as such.

I stand corrected thank you Angie.

Gordon digs Metaphorical Hole! I am going to put my head on the block and confess I didn't know what (OP) meant.

There is a huge difference between good copy and a good copywriter. Most people can learn how to put a decent ad together but a good copywriter knows how to tap into the emotions of your market.
It can make all the difference.
