How to easily improve your email copy! 4 simple tweaks
Hey guys here are a few easy tips to improve your email
marketing emails. Nothing to do with the actual content
but the layout...
1. Make your emails narrow - seems stupid but people
are lazy and don't want to have to move their eyes or
head to scan along the whole line.
50-60 characters width is ok.
2. Increase the font size - if your emails aren't at least size
12 then they're too hard to read.
3. Use bold and different colour fonts and shading,
along with quotes, italics and underline to highlight
different parts of the email - people will be drawn to
these often read through the highlighted points before
going back to the start.
4. If you want someone to click a link this little trick
can work don't do it in every email but once in a while
it can work to draw the eyes to where you want to go -

you just gradually reduce the length
of the lines to make the
email readers eyes
see the link!
So just have a play with these things, and test and
tweak as you go.
Don't be scared to have a go and
try something. It's just an email what's the worst that
can happen? Nobody clicks your link?
