The Gary Halbert Letters All-Star Audio Series...

I've been chomping at the bit for close to a year now, keeping a HUGE secret and waiting to share something amazing with you.

Just a few minutes ago, I hung up the phone with Bond Halbert and was given the go-ahead because...

The Gary Halbert Letters All-Star Audio Series is now live on iTunes.

Bond and Kevin Halbert have assembled a line-up of direct-response copywriting royalty to read their favorite Gary Halbert Letters and provide their own unique commentary on the lessons they contain, and some of their favorite stories and insights about Gary.

We're talking about the very best of the best like Gary Bencivenga, John Carlton, Dan Kennedy, David Deutsch, Parris Lampropoulos, Michael Gerber, Joe Sugarman, Scott Haines... and more.

The collection comes on two iTunes "albums" - Part 1 and Part 2.

Each album contains 7 Gary Halbert Letter commentaries, read by a different expert and introduced by the one and only Kevin Rogers.

Here's all the details - including a quick ten-minute sizzle reel where you'll hear Jay Abraham read an excerpt from a never-before published Gary Halbert Letter called "Tugboats".

The Gary Halbert Letters All-Star Audio Series — The Gary Halbert Letter

AND...

I'm equally excited to share the opportunity to join David Garfinkel (who reads and comments on "The Water Ad" on Part 1 of the audio series) and I for a free one-night only live training webinar for our Fast Effective Copy members next Wednesday evening called "The Halbert Legacy" featuring our special guests, Bond & Kevin Halbert.

We'll be digging deep into the making of this "new classic" as well as uncovering a bunch of surprises - you'll definitely want to be there to interact live with Bond, Kevin, David and I.

Monthly Live Training Webinar | Fast Effective Copy

We had originally scheduled the webinar for tonight, but delays with the release from iTunes pushed us back a week...

So next Wednesday it is... 8 PM Eastern, 5 PM Pacfic. Yes, it will be recorded, but you should really be there live for the most fun...

Anyway, I'm really happy for Bondo and Kevin and excited for you guys to check it out. This has been a TON of work for everyone involved.

I'm extraordinarily proud of my small contributions behind the scenes to be part of the Gary Halbert legacy and future of the Gary Halbert Letter. I'm forever indebted to that man and view that website as the Smithsonian for direct-response copywriting...

Most of all, I can't wait for my turn to read one of the letters on a future edition!

Enjoy...

Best,

Brian

You should, I don't think anyone doubts you're one of the best there is.

Thanks for your hard work, and thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the heads up on both the audios and next weeks FEC!

Good grief, downloading took a while but I'm sure it will be well worth the download time and the approximately 10 hours of audio... at 1x.

Brian, is this available anywhere besides iTunes? I don't have or use iTunes, personally. Thanks.

      Cam,

That's a really good question, actually.

The most accurate answer would be "not yet".

Amazing. Win, win situation all around.

I know just the gold I've learned from Bond my self is priceless.

This is obviously a cornucopia of legends and obviously a once in a lifetime opportunity.

    Get on this ,

This was a really fun program this evening. And there is absolutely nothing like listening to the behind the scenes happenings besides the many *applied* marketing lessons talked about by Bond, Keven, Brian, and David..

I did buy the recordings via iTunes a week ago in spite of the iPhone being one of the most unintuitive things I've ever used ... that said for Brians benefit . The recordings are just plain awesome!

Great stuff. When you stopped Kevin for the wrap up, I was driving. I wanted to pull over and slap you because it was pure, solid gold.

    LOL

If you can get your hands on this recording, do it. Don't ask why. JUST DO IT.

Why is installing ITunes on your PC a problem?

So disappointed I missed this. I should have registered days ago. When I got home tonight just before showtime, it was too late. Full house. I snooze, I lose. My bad.

Good thing I'm a FEC member. Looking forward to the replay.

And there's no problem installing iTunes on a PC, Alex... I'd just much rather listen to this audio while on the train or in the car or out walking or lying in bed. I'm not a big fan of sitting in front of the computer while listening to spoken word audio. It's just way too easy to get distracted.

Yep... Hopefully they'll invent audio stream recording software someday, eh?

Thanks for posting the recording. I was able to listen to it almost uninterrupted when I got home from work today.

It's pretty cool to hear people like this sound like regular guys. If anything is going to inspire new people, it's hearing guys be guys no matter what their level of success.

I thought the Gold Records were great, and since I'm slow sometimes, I really appreciated (I think) Bond's comments about how else this concept could be used.

Couldn't agree more. So many applications. How about "Move instead of Meditate". May not be the exact way Brian said it, but that's my approach.

Sort it out later. Just get the ball rolling.

Thanks, gang. Had a blast and love that you guys were on the call with us.

We had a handful of support tickets come in about GoToWebinar email notifications - namely that some folks weren't getting theirs - which is frustrating. Obviously we have no control over GoToWebinar's internal email notification system so there's not really anything we can do about it except whine, like I am now.

The replay will be up later today... will update thread when it's there.

Dan Kennedy was the first person I heard say (in a tribute to Gary
when he passed) that Halbert was a great marketer but a poor
businessman (not good with money). I was surprised when he
said that but now I hear it from his own sons.

This was a great look into the "human side" of Halbert. He was
really an interesting character apart from his copywriting.

I first heard it from Ted Nicholas before his passing..

Gary said Ted was the best in the world for space advertising.

I had a "few" extra hours on my hand (drove about 18 hours from Santa Barbara to Denver) and was able to listen to the complete Gary Halbert Letters read by ... during the drive. All I can say (again) is what an awesome experience.

While I liked them all, my favorite was the Tova "Illegal Sexual Stimulant" ad under the heading of the Big Idea.

And one coment that I've been thinking about for a while was one by Bond saying his father was ALWAYS thinking about marketing. I think it is just amazingly true, and one I think anyone at the top of their field (or on their way) would agree with.

And the best part of all this... I'll get to listen to them all again on the long drive back .

    Marvin
