While putting the finishing touches and preparing my site for the market, I would like to share with you my experince and recommendations regarding choosing a niche for such websites.

How to find a good niche for AliExpress drop shipping store?

1. Popularity and Trend.

Choosing a niche for your drop shipping website you should focus only on products that are always in demand and have positive or at least stable trend.

Go to https://www.google.ru/trends to get better idea about selected niche. For example, we are going to build a store that will sell 'Harry Potter' products for Harry Potter fans.



We can observe a small decrease since 2004 but the overall picture looks good, there are no dramatic falls and the trend is rather stable. So, Harry Potter niche seems interesting to me for a drop shipping site.

Or let's take 'GoPro accessories' as an example:



Here we see the trend that is increasing year by year starting from 2011. This is a good niche to be taken and tried.

Below you see the niche ('Nokia') that is not worth trying:



2. Competition.

It is impossible to find any popular niche with a good trend without competition of course. Before launching your drop shipping store it is strongly recommended to search for similar web stores in the Internet. If you find many good sites offering the same products (especially by good prices), probably you should think about another niche and products, which are generally more hard to find. Obviously, there is no point to create another usual "Shoes", "Car parts", "Gardening" stores. It's better to take some narrow niche and try to be creative.

3. AliExpress Stock.

Before starting building your web store, make sure there are enough categories and products available in the niche. Go to AliExpress.com and enter necessary keywords in search bar. In my case with 'Harry Potter' everything looks fine.



4. Prices.

Generally, AliExpress offers very competitive (often unbeatable) prices for many products. However, I would always recommend making a small research about the products' prices you are going to sell on your site. Ideally, AliExpress prices should be twice lower the prices of your competitors.

You should pick at least 5-10 products in the selected niche and find best prices for these items on AliExpress. Then go to search.aol.com, enter shopping section and search for the same products in order to compare their prices with prices at AliExpress.

Let's take an example.

I found such Harry Potter Scarf on AliExpress for $9,05/piece.



Then I went to search.aol.com and found the same item sold by other sellers.



As you can see the prices are much higher. In my opinion, it's a good item that is worth adding to my store.

How to choose categories and products?

To find best categories for my drop shipping site I use Google Adwords.

With the help of Keyword Planner I usually start checking different niche related keywords targeting all locations and English language.

For example, I take “Harry Potter wands” and see the results.



In spite of the fact that this keyword has high competition its search volume looks rather good.

One by one I select 10 main categories and add them to my site.



Among these 10 categories I also select 3-4 most popular ones to add them to the slider.



After my categories are ready I go to AliExpress.com to find necessary products.

To find the best and most demanded products I filter all products by orders and pay special attention to feedback score.



I get product ID of a desired item and add it to the plugin that automatically finds the product and imports all necessary information (images, description, parameters, variations, etc.) in my site.

Or I can make all the process (search, filter and upload products) work through the plugin.

Some SEO aspects:

1. Before choosing main categories for my site, I use Google Adwords to find good keywords in selected niche. As a result all names of my categories are in line with chosen keywords. (For example: category name “Harry Potter wands” = “Harry Potter wands” keyword that has 40,500 monthly searches according to Google Adwords.

2. I am using Senuke software for social bookmarking. It helps to index site well and get stable pages on Google.

3. I write and place a unique article (3000 symbols) on the home page above footer.

4. I write and place a unique article with necessary keywords (2000 symbols) on each category page. For each article I make unique title placing it in H2 tag. It is important that this title (H2) should be different from the name of the category (H1).

5. Using special software (usually WebSite Auditor) I do SEO audit for all my pages to find out if:
- I have any errors in the code;
- robots.txt created and setup properly;
- there are any pages with 404 error;
- a site has any broken links;
- all meta tags are written correctly;
- all pages are mobile friendly.

Excellent thread and my very first to read, I love the SEO perspective . Only trying to help here, but I own a ticket company and get notices all the time about little pictures that don't have any sort of trademark, like a stadium, that I have to take down. I cannot imagine what they would do here without the rights to sell. I do believe you are allowed to sell such items if the manufacturer had the right to create them, but you cannot use images with your store name like that. You have to just think in terms of morals here and that Warner bros spent a lot of time, money and talent to create Harry Potter so its really best not to capitalize on such without having reseller rights.

Used to be a seller in Aliexpress ,and an international trade,some advice you may need consider.

1.The supply chain of buy from Aliexpress may not stable.If the seller out of stock or some other problem that you influence your business.So I think buy from aliexpress is just an occasional way for drop-shopping.

2.If you are good at promotion,try AliExpress Affiliate may be better.

3.If you want a long term business,first try on Aliexpress is good,but meanwhile you need bring up some stable and trustful supplier from China.

Good luck with the 'dropshipping' model but I don't that it is better than an affiliate site that is on 'auto-pilot' and I can go for long walks each day without worry I lost an order because I did not return a message from a potential buyer in a timely manner.

This month I am going to try PPC, craiglist, paid FB ads and crowd marketing and share these startegies with you. And I have decided to develop another webstore for another niche. Starting designing a new theme for it right now.

Then ask your supplier not to include the card. The sellers on AliExpress have a clear idea about a dropshipping business model and will be happy to assits you. However, I have not recieved such cards yet.

I would like to share with you my FB advertising campaign strategy.

To launch paid ads on FB for my Harry site I use Power Editor instead of using a regular FB tools that has some limitations.

Importnat: Power Editor works only with Google Chrome. To open this tool you need to go to www.facebook.com/ads/manage/powereditor or use a necessary tab on FB ads manager:



As soon as you enter Power Editor, click 'Download to Power Editor' in order to add accounts you need to get access for:



To create a campaign, click the following button:



Then you need to name the campaign, set objective (choose 'Clicks to website') and give titles to your ads group and ads:



Then we need to edit our campaign on a group and ads level where we should set targets, budget and create texts.

For my Harry site I use the type of ads which can include several images and links.

In 'Create Ad tab' I select 'Ad with multiply images in a carousel'.



Then I start creating my ads loading them with titles, descriptions, prices and images.



Important: as my experience shows, people mostly buy from desktop devices, that's why I remove the option to show my ads on mobile gadgets:



Targeting:

Before creating my ads on FB I went to https://www.google.com/trends/ and found the countries where the 'Harry Potter' keyword is extremely popular.

Then I added all possible keywords associated with Harry Potter niche.

Lastly, I set age range from 18 to 65+:



Budget:

For this type of ads (like Carousel), 'Daily Budget' option is the best. My daily budget is $5:



My advertising campaign started on the 7th of October and will end on 31st of October:



With such budget and settings mentioned above, I get following results:
- Clicks - 241 daily on average
- Cost per click - $0.02!



I have already got some good results from this campaign. For example, today I got an order from Mexico generated by this Facebook adverstising campaign:

I saw you selling this plugin but it was an affiliate plugin while it looks like you're running a dropship store, not affiliate. What am I missing?

People often ask me about how my ordering process works. So I decided to describe this process in a step-by-step way.

1. First, I get a notification on my email that an order was placed. And I get another notification from my PayPal account that I received payment.

2. I go to the WP admin area of my site to check Order Details page and find this recent order:

3. Using my affiliate links I go to these product pages on AliExpress and place orders stating shipping address of my customer. These affiliate links allow me earning 8% commission on every purchase.

I have got my first refund recently The customer did not like the quality of a t-shirt he got. He sent me the picture of this t-shirt and I must admit that the quality of this item is really poor.



As a result I sent him a full refund, opened a dispute with AliExpress seller and got a refund the next day!

I suppose, if you are selling not expensive products your AliExpress suppliers usually refund you quickly without having to return the items because they don't want the headache of disputes and receiving returns for relatively low value items. May be I could even give a partial refund to my customer.

Last week I started testing Craiglist and other similar services and have already got several sales from this source. I think many of you are familiar with Craiglist, but for those who have not tried Craiglist yet, this small and easy to follow guide could be helpful.

1. Before starting posting ads on Craiglist I recommend using HideMe software. It allows choosing the IP address of the region where you want to post your ads.

2. Go to Craiglist.org and select a geographical location. In order to choose the best country or region I strongly recommend that you check Google Trends first to find out where your products (look by keywords) are mostly popular and demanded.

3. Then you should sign up or create a new account.



4. You can see the status of ads you have already published on your account page. Here you can also select a region for posting your next ads.



5. Choose the type of your ad on the next page.



6. Select category.



7. Enter contact and product information.



8. Insert image and publish.



Now your ad is ready. After publishing, it will be shown on Craiglist for the next 45 days. You can check your post following the link that will appear on the next page.



Here is how the post looks like:



Don't forget to place a link to your site. It will be not an active link; however people use it to visit your site or product page.

It should be also noted that Craiglist is not the only service suited for posting such ads. I found another 4 good services that can give good traffic and sales. Besides, these services allow posting active links to your webstore.

Most of my sales were generated with the help of organic search and social media (not paid ads).

Top 3 countries people purchased from:

- Mexico

In October I made two refunds. One of them is because of a poor quality of the item and another one because of long delivery time.

I am often asked what niche is better to choose for a dropshipping site. In my opinion it is better to find and choose a narrow niche. A broad niche might sound like a good idea and I do understand people who are dreaming about an authority website where you can put all products, but in practice, it can be very tough to get traffic and orders.

Some reasons to go narrow:

1. When you make a research going narrow you get a better understanding about what you are going to sell.
2. It's easier to be a big fish in a small pond and it's the fastest way to grow your business and credibility.
3. It's easier to rank higher in a web search for particular search terms.
4. Due to your specialty people will be ready to come to you again and again because you are "the one" in their minds.
5. It is always easier to focus on one audience and plan your marketing strategies.

Recently I have tried a marketing strategy that I had not used before and found it very effective.

This strategy is called Instagram Shoutouts.

If you want your Instagram page to grow, then you need to gain exposure.

The quickest and most efficient way to do this is by collaborating with other your niche related pages, posting one of their pictures in return for them posting one of yours. This is what is called a Shoutout.

But I have a bit different strategy.

I go to Instagram and search for popular pages related to Harry Potter niche. After finding such pages I send a message to the owners asking them about the price for adding my post to their pages. If the prce is fair enough I send the materials I want to publish. As a result I gain exposure, my Instagram page is growing and what is more important, I get sales! (just got another one from these shoutouts)

So, I can definitely recommend this strategy, especially for such fan nichies like Harry Potter.

Shoutouts Results:

It was my first experience with Instagram shoutouts. I spent $29 on these two posts. They were published on the 11th of November and were live for 48 hours.

I got a good increase of traffic:



Orders: 7
Gross revenue: $173,69
Supplier costs: 89,91
Net profit: $83,78

$83,78 - $29 (spent on shoutouts) = $54,78.

Besides, I got many likes and followers on my Instagram account.

I think I could earn more if I have credit cards payment option connected to my site, because there were many users who dropped the checkout page.

Regarding FB ads, I also found that video ads on FB work better for me than regular text ads. And it should be noted that's sometimes it is not a great idea to send traffic from your FB video ads directly to your webstore, some landing page needed. I am using following strategy:

1. I write a small article and add it to the blog of my webstore.

Example: 5 Items True Hermione Granger Fans Wouldn



2. I create a small video and launch advertising campaign for Facebbok.

My weakness is in social media promotion, having many account on different social media and posting on it is a daunting task for me, since there is only me working on it. are you still on fb ads? do you use fb new feature of audience intersecting.

Yaros, have you thought of switching your Pinterest account to a Business one? As far as I know the business account has the ability of Rich Pins https://business.pinterest.com/en/rich-pins which has Product Pins with real time pricing and availability. I think this should be good for a webstore like yours.

When using AliExpress, also check Ebay for the same items. I have found exact same items on Ebay for much less than AliExpress.....so do your due diligence.

Logged in to say this. Risking a lawsuit for $x,xxx in profit is a horribly, horribly short-sighted idea. You do NOT want to mess with Warner Bros., especially using their brand & likeness. They may just send you a C&D with no further demands, but it could very well be a threat of litigation with you requiring you to send all of your sales data to them and a settlement proposal in the tens of thousands of dollars. You obviously have the smarts and know-how to run a dropshipping site and successfully promote it, why even take that chance? JMO...

Today I want to show you my social plugin that I am successfully using with my dropshipping sites and Amazon affiliate stores.

Before I used many different social posters and social promotion plugins but each of them has its own disadvantages and could not meet all my requirements. As a result I created my own solution that I called SocialRabbit.

How this Plugin works:

The plugin has a Dashboard that displays the list of activities performed by SocialRabbit. As you can see this plugin works with 3 popular social networks - Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.



The connection with social networks API is implemented like in other social plugins:

I had a Aliexpress plugin that allowed you to import products from aliexpress and tweak the price automatically for dropshipping purposes. I bought plugin from Codecanyon.net but product has been discontinued and is probably no longer supported. Would that be against any TOS if I shared?

If it is under a GNU General Public License then it is fine to share it.

My pricing formula is following:

0<x<1=$7.95 (if the cost of the product on AliExpress is between $0 and $1, my price is $7.95).

1<x<2=$8.99.

2<x<5=$9.95.

5<x<30=x*2.

30<x<50=x*1.75.

50<x<100=x*1.5.

x>100=x*1.35.

I want to share with you my experience of working with Instagram Shoutouts once again.

My recently launched shoutout (I paid $20 for) generated 15 orders from my dropshipping site and brought me $282 in profit!

This method works really great for me and I want to leave a small guide for you here.

1. Firstly choose the most popular accounts with the niche similar to yours. For example, if you are selling Harry Potter merchandise, you should look for the 'Harry Potter' accounts. There are different services for the account picking, but I personally recommend Websta (Websta - the best Instagram web viewer (Webstagram)). Simply enter the preferred theme in the "Username or tag" field and you'll get a list of popular accounts to choose from:



2. Once you have picked the preferred accounts (the more the better), you have to contact them through Instagram Direct (direct messages on Instagram). Unfortunately, this function is not available on PC; on Instagram you can send direct messages only from your mobile phone or tablet. Log in to your Instagram account and search for the chosen accounts in the search field. I usually send them a short message concerning ShoutOuts, and ask them to contact me on e-mail (it's more comfortable to communicate through e-mail than through Instagram Direct). My message usually looks like this:



3. Send this message to all of your chosen accounts and wait for their reply. Check your e-mail. Normally they contact me later on the same day, so you don`t have to wait long. Agree upon the terms and the prices, ask for the payment details. Generally I try to make ShoutOuts for 24-48 hours (longer time makes no sense). The price depends on the number of followers; try to find popular accounts (10k followers and more).

The ShoutOut basically consists of the grabbing picture of the item (it can be a collage of different pictures as well) and a promotion text. The text should be short and simple providing some information about the product and its price, name of your account and link to your webstore. You should add some hashtags as well.

I would like to make a webshop with a dropshipping model. My plan is the following. I would like to make a webshop with products from Aliexpress using Woocommerce. The customers are going to purchase the products on my website and then when I get a payment from the customers I am going to order the item from Aliexpress.
My problem is that how am I going to find that exact product on Aliexpress what the customer has ordered? Instead of doing this manually, I would like to have a plugin which can does this work. I think of a plugin that "knows" what kind of product a customer has ordered in which color, in which size, etc. without needing me to search for products and type in these information thus eliminating the chance of errors. It could provide a link, or something so all I would have to do is order that item.
I also would like if the plugin could update the products, the price and delete the unavailable products automatically.
I am not sure if this kind of plugin is exist, any alternative solution or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

How about the refund? Aliexpress give 15 days to open dispute when the customer confirm the delivery but Paypal give 360 days to open dispute. How about if you sell something, the buyer receive it but after 1 month he found is defective or no more working (most cases with electronic items like cellphones or tablets), so he will open dispute in paypal against you, but your case cannot do anything to open dispute in aliexpres. So paypal will ask the buyer to return the item and get full refund, in this case item returned to the chinese seller but the dropshipper lose money and product and the chinese wins double.
hopefully I'm wrong and I know no always there is many refund request after the buyer receive his order and all depend the kind of products you sell but is better to take some measures before starting dropshipping.

I don't know exactly when I can launch the plugin, too busy with my own dropshipping sites and can't find time now to prepare the plugin for releasing.

there are only 2 options for shipping. there is Seller's Shipping Method which takes 35 days and then there's China's Post Air Mail which takes 15-40 days.

what do you use for shipping given these 2 options. and do you still ever get complaints about the delivery time or are all orders received in 2 weeks.

My worries are everything that has to do with the "legal" stuff. I am not very educated herein. So when I start a dropshipping website, do I need a vat number, do I need to tell my government that i'm self employed or that i'm selling stuff online? Because I want to start dropshipping but at the same time I would like to have a job, is that possible?

And last question, what about the copyright laws you were talking about in older posts? How do I know that i'm breaking the copyright laws? Like for example your harry potter website, what's wrong with that?

Recently one of forum members contacted me and reported that he was scammed by ecomlauncher.net.

I spent some time on research and found some interesting information about this product and its creator.

His name is Able Chika, a well-known fraud for me. Some time ago, he copied my AliPlugin and started selling as his own product. As a result I got many refund requests and spent much time on explaining people that they bought not AliPlugin but its poor copy from another seller.

I am setting up a store today as a branch of my business. Thanks again for your great thread. Are you allowed to buy through your own affiliate links? I asked some other programs and they said it was against the terms of service.

It seems you are fulfilling orders yourself. This could become a lot of work when you start receiving many orders. Do you know of any software that automatically fulfils orders?

There are some questions that I am asked regularly, so I decided to create some kind of FAQ about dropshipping with AliExpress and post it here.

1. First, what exactly is drop shipping?
Drop ship, "pack and ship", "direct fulfillment" - they all mean the same thing. A supplier will ship the item to your customer for you, and you never have to handle the product. Drop shipping allows the reseller to focus on marketing the business and eliminate the hassle, time, and cost of dealing with the actual products they are selling.

AliExpress dropshipping works the same way as the traditional dropshipping business model. You copy the product from AliExpress to your own store, set your own prices/markups, and after you sell a product, you purchase it from AliExpress and have it shipped directly to your customer.

2. How exactly does the buying and selling process work?
Once you have your website up and running and filled with products from your chosen suppliers, it is time for business. When a customer buys a product from you, you will accept payment for the product for your retail price and shipping costs. Once you have received the funds, you place the order directly with the seller from AliExpress.com. This is typically a usual online order at AliExpress.com. The seller will then charge you for the cost of the item and ship the item directly to your buyer. That's it! You have just sold an item at your set retail price and processed the order for your customer.

3. Why should I decide to go with my own site instead of using eBay and Amazon?
When you have your own webstore you are not sticked to any rules and requirements of other marketplaces. Besides owing your site gives you more opportunities for promotion and marketing strategies. Furthermore, building your own site is a wise investment, because you can easily sell this business one day. Such established dropshipping websites are always a very marketable product.

4. What kind of profit margins are there with dropshipping?
It much depends on what kind of products you are selling. It's often a good idea to stick to low price with a high margin potential. Such products usually cost within a $1-$20 price range and these products generally can be priced at $20-$50 or more.

I recommend having a profit margin of 40%-70%. You can also try this formula that works well for my own Dropshipping projects:

$0<Supplier Price<$1=Your Price: $7.95

$2<Supplier Price<$5=Your Price: $9.95

$5<Supplier Price<$30=Your Price: Supplier Price x 2

$30<Supplier Price<$50=Your Price: Supplier Price x 1.75

Supplier Price>$100=Your Price: Supplier Price x 1.35

5. I am concerned about the long shipping times from AliExpress
There were complaints about AliExpress regarding its delivery time before. But it should be noted that AliExpress has improved delivery time for the last year seriously and continue working on this signing agreements with major local and international postal service companies, including in US. Besides you can always use the strategy of selling not very expensive products and with free shipping option only (there are loads of such products at AliExpress). In this case customers are more willing to wait longer.

ePacket delivery:

When possible, try to only resell products that offer ePacket shipping that's free or very cheap. Because a majority of products on AliExpress come from China or Hong Kong, ePacket delivery is not only the most economical, but one of the quickest for small goods to get to the United States, as well as other countries.



6. When my customer receives the package, does it have any reciepts or AliExpress signs?
Sometimes sellers from AliExpress include their business cards in the package. Anyway you can always send a comment with your order asking your seller not to include anything. The sellers on AliExpress have a clear idea about a dropshipping business model and will be happy to assist you. As for other signs on packages like price, address, etc. I have never got any complaints from my customers. So, I think there is nothing to worry here.

7. How will I handle refunds?
AliExpress has a good protection system with full money back guarantee. So, if your customer is not satisfied with a product and asking for refund you should dispute the purchase with AliExpress seller. If you are selling not expensive products your AliExpress suppliers usually refund you quickly without having to return the items because they don't want the headache of disputes and receiving returns for relatively low value items. This enables you to give a full or partial refund to your customer through PayPal without them having returns either. The reputation of the wholesaler is rather exposed and they are willing to do anything to maintain their feedback rating.

If one wants to drop ship from aliexpress, into ebay.com australia, can this be done, also, what happens if you list something ebay , it then sells, but aliexpress is out of stock ?

With this plugin, you can either use aliexpress affiliate system directly, or you can import the products to your website, multiply the price as you wish, sell them directly from your website. This is the only solution sofar that I have found to create a wordpress based dropshipping website with woocommerce.

Hello ppl, Fisrt of all I bought the package and I am not a beta tester. I start to using the Alidropship, since now I have one thing to say.
The whole procedure is too simple... I choose the items that i want to import them to my e-shop. for those that they want to check my e-shop is Online shopping for handbags with free worldwide shipping I also has the social Rabbit that it seems too promising.
So the posting to social media is from social rabbit.
it is the 4 day and i must say that I have a lot of page views... So I will post here for orders etc.
I used also shopify and oberlo but it was too expensive for me. I invest one time some money and now i am enjoying the automate procedures for life. I must say that i pay the hosting provider. A good tip I used godaddy offer with 1 euro per month/year.
Now for the script, it has everything that you want, and all the items are imported with the variables that they have also the prices for each one and stock. it automatically updates the stock and the prices with the price margins that I want.
You must find the formula for the prices that you want.
There are few changes that they must do and as i speak with my Support Manager they will do it with the next update. (this week) So also the supporting is a good standing team.

Yaros you have done a great work with this script and i must say that i am too enthusiastic to be a member in your work.

My Alidropship Plugin Review

I have been a big fan of this thread since discovering it last year. That is why I made a lot of research on drop-shipping and many drop-shippers who blog about their drop-shipping experiences would advise against it. I think it’s mainly because searching for good suppliers can be challenging. Still, I followed Yaros’ journey. It’s beneficial for everyone in this forum because he lets us see the “behind-the-scenes” of drop-shipping.

Just this week, he announced the release of his plugin (FINALLY! I know everyone here are excited about Alidropship), and a few days later posted about looking for beta testers - I’m glad I was chosen because I’ve been hoping to get that Aliexpress plugin that costs around $40 - but this one’s better. I think Yaros has already discussed the differences of the two..

Installation:


If you are experienced with Wordpress, this one’s not a problem for you. You just upload the Alidropship plugin like you would normal plugin. Then upload the custom theme that Yaros designed. It’s exactly like the one you see on WorldOfHarry.com.

Problems encountered:

I’m basically a Wordpress noob, so I had a hard time uploading the plugin and theme because it’s above the limit of what my server allows me to upload to the site. I spent 4 hours figuring out how to increase file size upload XD. After solving the problem, I was able to install the plugin and theme in a few seconds.

What You Get:

Alidropship has its own dashboard (within your WP dashboard) where you can check reports regarding orders, revenue, traffic and sales. You’ll also get a summary of reports where you can view your top 5 products, customers, and categories.

Here are the great features:

Import Products and Import Reviews.

You get to import products from AliExpress straight from your dashboard. Just fill in the keywords of products you want to sell, and their price (for example $1 - $10), and reviews (from 1 star to 5 star - personally, I choose products with 4-5 stars). The plugin will filter these products to show you without actually going to Aliexpress.com. You can then import the products you want to show to your site, edit through the product page and then publish.

If you want to import straight from the AE site, you can just simply use the Alidropship chrome extension. (haven’t used this method yet).

The plugin allows you to import product reviews for the ones you have on your store. You can choose to import reviews with certain number of stars (as for me, I import reviews with 3 and above ratings.)

Another thing I love about the plugin is the ability to enter your cash-back URL from Admitad or EPN Aliexpress. I didn’t really consider signing up for those when Yaros mentioned in his journey that he’s an AE affiliate, but this plugin telling me that I can get an 8% cashback per order made me sign up. It only took 5 minutes to do that.

PRICING

The plugin can automatically set the prices of the products you import when you customize the pricing formula. You can multiply original price to up to 4x and can also simply add a specific amount to a range of prices.

For example:

$0.05 < cost < $0.99 = cost x 4

$50 < cost <$60 = cost + $10

This means you don’t have to set product prices individually.

INVENTORY

You don’t have to worry about displaying products on your site that are no longer available from your supplier. You can choose to delete or send them to draft as soon as the supplier’s inventory hits 0.

Alidropship also allows you to create coupon codes for you customers.

Theme Review

I have used WooCommerce before, and even those WooCommerce themes need a few hours of setting up. Yaros’ theme is easy to setup, the customization is straight to the point.

NOTE: WP Has a built in Customize page but you can’t customize Yaros’ theme within that. After installation, his theme will create a new “Customization” tab in the main dashboard where you can edit the appearance of your site.

Problem Encountered:

After setting up the homepage, I still could not see the homepage that I wanted (Just a blank page with all the menus and footer setup, nothing else). I slept through the night thinking what could be wrong. The next day, I went to Settings > Reading and set the front page display as “Your latest posts”. It solved the problem XD


As you can see, all the problems I encountered can be easily fixed by someone who’s very familiar with website processes.


And yeah, I mentioned that I used WooCommerce before. That required manual search of products and downloading of images without watermarks. Sometimes the image processing alone eats up my time. While working a full time job, I can only post at most 5 products per day.


Alidropship makes the job a lot easier. The plugin can import all the product details exactly how you see them on AE. But I wouldn’t personally post them exactly like that. Edit the titles, description and remove images with watermarks. Product variations are also imported.


You don’t have to worry about your inventory anymore - this makes more time for marketing and I would definitely buy another license for future drop-shipping niches.


SUPPORT


Yaros is quick when answering inquiries (even if they’re so simple). He actually was even willing to work in my WP dashboard when I had problems importing reviews. Problem was solved quickly.


Future Developments:

I think it would be great if buyers have the ability to add products to a wishlist. More choices of themes too ))

I too was given the opportunity to beta test the plugin and I would like to thank Yaros for the opportunity.

All I can say is, IMPRESSIVE!

I found the plugin/theme very simple and easy to use. As with many other themes/plugins that are not easy to use, Yaros plugin/theme is a breath of fresh air. Both the theme and plugin settings are on the wp dashboard and within each setting everything is broken down by category for customizing the site (ie...color changes, product importing, adding logo, SEO, etc...). As mentioned above, I had a problem with the site not displaying but I believe it was because I didn't have the plugin activated at the time. Although many would be running to ask for support but I assumed the theme and plugin are built to integrate with one another so I activated the plugin and low and behold the site was up and running. Other than that, I've been building out my site and have only had one other issue with the price not reflecting the markup I had in the settings. In fact is was double the amount but again, it was not anything to do with the theme or plugin, it was more than likely user error as I was making multiple changes to quickly, not allowing the theme/plugin the time to update (which I assume has something to do with chron jobs...but I'm not a programmer). I can be a little OCD at times lol. After that one hiccup, things are running smooth like butter.

The only thing that I can see that is a Con is not having the ability to change the theme but I believe Yaros was after the look and feel of Aliexpress. Also, I did see that he has added 2 more themes which is a plus.

As time progresses, things will only get better as Yaros makes updates and additions.

Here is my wishlist:
1. Ability to modify and change colors deeper within pages. (Note: With a little CSS knowledge you can make the changes yourself such as I did).
2. Exit Popup
3. Add function in the alidropship plugin backend to allow one to pull Epacket or DHL free shipping vendors. (Note: You can still do this by doing it manually and utilizing the chrome extension).
4. Ability to integrate an abandoned cart plugin at checkout.
5. I'm sure I'll have more as I get more acclimated to the theme/plugin.

Having a phone number on your site does bring peace of mind to your consumers and people you do business with. It gives your visitors more trust and removes any fear they may have before a purchase.

Even if you don't want to answer calls and speak with your clients, we recommend registering a Skype number with a voicemail option. In this case your customers will have a possibility to see and call a real number and leave messages that you can get directly on your email.

1. Sign in to your Skype account. Select Skype Number in the Manage features section and click Get a Skype Number.



2. Select a country and location (city/state) this phone number will belong to. For example, if the majority of your clients are from US, then there is a sense to get a US number. Then choose one of the numbers available and make a purchase. The cost of a Skype Number subscription varies depending on which country you want the Skype Number for and how long the subscription lasts (3 or 12 months).

3. Go to Voice Messages in the Manage features section and Enable voice messaging. Activate email Alerts and set your email address to get voice message.



4. Finally go to Skype Preferences -> Calls. Set Incoming Calls to Send to voice message.



Here you can also setup voice messaging. You can record your own one or order a professional voice-over from Fiverr.

Finally, I have registered my own LLC (Limited Liability Company) in US to help me run my dropshipping business.

May be some information below will be useful for those who want to establish a company in US from overseas.

Why do I need it?

I think, running your dropshipping business under a US company has many advantages.

If you or your business are based not in US, you are limited with a choice of payment gateways you can use on your store. in my case I was not able to integrate Stripe, Authorize, PayU and other systems to start accepting credit cards on my sites. Actually there are many other solutions of course, but they all did not meet my needs. For example, in Russia I can easily connect local payment processors, but the problem is that according to Russian law you can show your clients only Rubbles on checkout page (not US Dollars or any other currency). So, this fact makes all these systems absolutely useless for me.

Another advantage is that you can choose any State for registration (no-sales-tax state or a state that suits your business better). And you don't need to present any documents, only information. You also don't need to be present in the U.S. to register a company. All filings can be done remotely, electronically.

Other important thing that as a foreigner you are not required to have Social Security Number to open your company and obtain EIN (company tax ID). You also don't need to have a U.S. address or phone number, however if you like it's possible to obtain them from specializing vendors.

How much does it cost?

I paid $634 for LLC and + $299 for U.S. Business and mailing address. It took around a month to complete everything.

What about opening US bank account?

After 9/11 and with the passing of the Patriot Act it became really hard for foreigners to open U.S. bank accounts. Only a trip to the US would present you with the best opportunity to open a bank account.

But in most cases what you need is not a bank account, but the functions provided by a traditional bank account. For this purpose you can use a reloadable prepaid debit card from companies like NetSpend, Payoneer, Payza. What you get is an internationally recognised debit card and an account number with routing and ABA numbers that you can connect to your 2checkout, Stripe, etc. accounts. As for me I successfully connected my Payoneer card to Stripe.

"If you are importing products and when doing it through Aliexpress you are most likely avoiding the duty that is charged by other products that are imported... and you can get a large bill in the mail for all past duty, possibly up for the past 3 years."
