Good day.

I would like to accept payments online, but do not know what payment gateway to choose. I plan to sell products by dropshiping. As I do not have the registered office or the legal entity, what info I shoulld enter while registration? Buy a virtual address?

Thanks in advance!

PayPal is always a good start. If you are in the U.S.A., get a real payment processor, as well. Our favorite is Durango and they use the NMI gateway. If you are in another country, you might try 2Checkout.

2Checkout requires information about a registered business though

You can go with Payeezy Firstdata Payment method. Also for registration i'm not sure about buying virtual address. So, you just contact payeezy support team for registration.

For ready modules on Payeezy Firstdata i suggest to refer below link

I use Eway - it works really well. If you're just starting out PayPal is fine, however once you're up and running you may want to look for a payment gateway that offers more integration into your accounting system (I use Xero).

PayPal is the best as it is the most used payment gateway we see around on the internet business community and this is because it is much safer.

I had the same problem and got a payment gateway, I do not want to name it because after the agreement was in place I found out that they block founds for refunds, each load of a card is 2 bucks, plus comissions. Plus the fact that told me I can not pay orders from their account. A guy there told me to be aware that I must have goods in stock not to buy goods with the money received in my account!!!!
So.. I want to terminate the relation with this famous gateway and get the money from one order out of their account.
Preffer Pay Pal. At least do not block funds for refunds. Ah, I forgot. There is a minimum amount you can start withdraw from, 300 $!! LOL.

I know many warriors are recommending PayPal because it is the most known one, I personally would like to caution u from PayPal, I would say use them only for PayPal payments ( don't accept credit cards through PayPal for your own protection) PayPal doesn't have a good fraudulent transactions detection system, if scammers want to put u out of business, with fake credit cards wouldn't take them much.

I accept stripe for credit card , and PayPal only for PayPal transactions (money paid through bank transfer). I never had an issue with stripe and their rate r even lower

Paypal is a good way to start and is a great way to get some processing history under your belt, but not necessarily the best as a primary processor. You can see an article here that is related to Paypal and it's intended use versus a regular gateway/merchant account: Merchant Accounts vs. Paypal

I would suggest registering the company legally if you plan on continuing your operation for more than a few months. Once you have some payment history and a registered corporation, move on to a notable high risk merchant account provider.

NMI is always a good start. If you are in the U.S.A., get a real payment processor, as well.
Our favorite is Merchant Stronghold located in Clearwater, Florida and they use and provide the NMI gateway.

  • Go for Paypal Business Account bcoz other websites like 2checkout dont allow dropshipping and will ban your account if they catch you doing dropshipping.

2checkout is decent, but fees are too high, same as paypal. you should be getting transaction rates around 0.9% not 2 point something.
