Failing on shopify dropshipping

Hello all

I've been doing shopify dropshipping for about 8 months and haven't had any success. I've spent more than $700 on fb ads and $300 on IG shoutouts without any results, all the money I have gathered from offline work went into that business. I was hoping to find my winning product but in vain, I've failed miserably.
I really feel disappointed, if you have any advice or suggestions that can raise my mood up, I'd appreciate it.

Aliexpress business model? So you spend around $1000 in ads and how much in sales/net profit you had?

Take it as an experience. I'm on my second dropshipping venture and things started to be a bit better than the first time. I'm not making money, I'm break-even at the moment, but I'm happy with the results I got so far and will continue working, learning and improving every ******* single day until I make it.

Keep your head up and keep going foward bud!

More than anything, this comes down to the product and your target market. With this model, you HAVE TO be selling an impulse buy product - preferably one that is a hot product - and it needs to cost less than $60 (best if they cost $20-$40).

You have to remember that NOBODY goes to Facebook to buy things. You have to be selling something to a very targeted group of people who are likely to see it and say "I have to have that now!"

My advice: Don't think you'll be making millions in a few months or weeks. If it is your first store you're likely still learning. I'm on my second store and still trying to break even. Just gotta keep learning and investing in yourself and your business. Once you find the right product and niche things will start to get better. It also helps to be passionate about your niche. Hope this helps.

Customers want to see what they're buying
I mean, would you spend good money on something you can't actually see? Quite simply, if a prospective customer can't get a good idea of the products you offer from the images on your e-commerce store, they will go elsewhere. No one will put down money even a relatively small amount of money on an item unless they are sure that it meets their needs. Product descriptions are fine, but there's nothing more reassuring than taking a good look at the product and from all angles.
    Thanks
