email and hosting in different servers

Hi

My website is hosted at redfox and I am using google aps for mails.
I have problems with current hosting, I couldn't change entire website immediately .
I this possible to change my mails to new servers, i.e hostgator or other ??

    If you plan on moving to any host, as someone who has and still does ecommerce since 2009. It is a good idea to have a dedicated hosting account, if you choose hostgator, be sure that you upgrade to vps account. I use to use hostgator but now I have my own servers and started a blog network and other sites. Also be sure that you get the ssl set up again with your provider because you will need to set that back up on your new server.

    I know as far as changing the email, I would set up pop3 enabled in google as well as have the ability to email directly from gmail and have the extension show up on the customer's end as your domain extension instead of gmail.com

    Either way, if you stick with google gmail, you have a better chance of those emails hitting a regular inbox instead of going to spam folder. (not sure how long you've been growing your site)
