How Much Is My eBay Account Worth

So we have recently closed down our eBay business. Just simply don't have the time to run it any more.

But we now have a 2,200 feedback account from 2011 which is on 99.9% positive. It has $140K selling limits, and is a top 1,000 reviewer.

So I was wondering anyone knows how much this account would be worth? Or if someone has an Idea on how to sell it?

Also we have a 500fb account which is at 100% positive, but I wouldn't imagine it would be worth any where near as much.

I would HIGHLY recommend you not do this because not only is it against eBay's policies, it can you get banned here on WF and be caught up in possible legal trouble. Also, selling your eBay account can allow the buyer to retrieve your personal or financial information (you may think you have deleted it but there are ways to retrieve it).

I can't contribute to how much I think it would be worth because I personally think it's a really bad idea to sell something that could cause you a lot of trouble and jeopardize your personal information. Keep it, maybe you'll need it in the future.

    theconversionwriter,

By now you know the legal issues envolved.

Keep the account as your own insurance in
    case of any emergencies.

Just work it one hour a day to remain current.
If you don't have that one hour, you could
let someone in your family do it for you.

Depends on who needs an older account. I would be listing something on it where mine. I suggest selling some things on it to keep it active. Betting with ebay changes when you do might get some selling limits since you have not sold on it in a year.

  • Of course you can sell your eBay account!

    I've done it many times.

eBay has to know about it, though. You have to get attorneys. Notarize documents, bill of sales, do the whole 9 yards.

You're selling a business, people. It happens all the time.

Just don't do it without eBay knowing - make sure they know that it's a business transaction, you have all of the documents filed, attorneys working on it, and you're safe.

    By the way.

You're eBay account is worth zero. It's not selling anything.

As was mentioned above, you can sell your eBay account but only if it is a business.
Please contact eBay support for further information that is more specific to your situation.
