I have my product csv export and I need reprice all my items. The unique identifier between my export and new price sheet is the sku. What can I use to match the export sheet sku's / old prices to the sku's / new prices on the new sheet.

Can this be done in excel or is this something for access?

  • From what I understand, it can still be done in excel. May get tricky depending on how many SKUs you have...but otherwise, it's doable. Have you considered using a different software to help you with this? There are specific repricing tools on the market, as well as inventory management software with listing or repricing features built in. Could be a "quicker" fix, but that all depends on whether you'd be willing to spend money on a tool (and if you need one for its added benefits, like sales order/shipping management).

Either way, good luck to you!

You could use either Access or Excell however Excel would probably be easier unless you have DB experience.

Yeah, repricing could be done through excel or by using repricing software. Depends on your needs really.

Amazon repricing software that helps you win the Buy Box more often. eBay repricing also available.

You can do everything in Excel, Access is more complex and not necessary in most cases. We run huge spreadsheets - although you might want to consider installing the 64bit version.
