DKIM Hell with SMTP. Does this sound right?

So, I'm on a chat with SMTP.com and I'm asking about setting up my DKIM authentication. I run my agency's email marketing through Interspire Email Marketer for my clients. I have 3 unique "From" email addresses I use for my clients, but my SMTP.com account is under my own business email address.

She tells me they can only setup DKIM authentication for each "sender" username and password I have at SMTP.com. That means setting up 3 new usernames and passwords at SMTP.com. But, here's the kicker. She tells me each time I'm sending out an email, I need to change the SMTP settings in Interspire to reflect that specific email newsletter's "From" address that's being sent.

It sounds logical, but it doesn't sound feasible. Anyone know if this is how it works?

*UPDATE*
So, I found out that the workaround is to setup 3 different users in Interspire and have the SMTP/DKIM info reflect that user/from address/domain.

I had to do the same thing. But instead I had Hostgator do it for me. I would contact whoever your hosting company is and ask them.
