Which Smtp server should I use for a purchased list?

Hi!

Which is better for purchased lists

Using a self-hosted email service's built-in SMTP server, which is shared_server. I have read that this negatively affects deliverability.

Or

Paid dedicated SMTP server like Amazon SES.

Or

Uploading the purchased list on multiple batches to an autoresponder like Getresponse and implementing this sending strategy.

What is the best choice for good deliverability?

really depends on how many you will be sending at once. Try looking into postal it is open source and it is free. There are people on fiverr that will set up and configure self hosted email platform with smtp server. you can add more than one server as well as exta IP's. I currently use mailwizz as my email platform with vps hosting with contabo and smtp I use postal and amazon

Using Amazon SES for a purchased list is too risky. They will close your account if they caught you. And they do most of the time.

Best option is to use a custom SMTP server. There are a lot of guys on Fiverr that provides this service. You just rent a VPS from OVH or Contabo and use bulk mailserver setup gig from fiverr.

Good thing about this is that this server will be expendable. Although it won't give great inbox rates like Amazon SES or other premium services, it works good for cold lists.

I use a new dedicated server.

I am thinking of using a warm-up service ... Is it worth?

    Has anyone tried this before?

You might just want to watch some videos or read some articles. There are many tutorials on how to warm up your IP's yourself.

    Hey guys!

I have a friend who got access to a high-intent database of specific niche buyers and wants to send some cold emails to them.

What's the best way for her to do that without facing issues? these emails won't recognize her brand

Thanks a lot and sorry if this topic was already discussed a million times.

It is not advised to send emails to purchased lists using a self-hosted email service's built-in SMTP server because doing so may reduce deliverability. Since shared servers are frequently used by numerous users, the IP address may be marked as spam or added to a blacklist by email service providers.

As it guarantees excellent deliverability rates and gives users more control over email sending, a paid dedicated SMTP server like Amazon SES can be a viable choice for delivering emails to lists that have been purchased. It is crucial to keep in mind that Amazon SES, like other email service providers, has rigorous rules about acceptable sending practices. If these rules are broken, the account may be suspended or terminated.

As they have safeguards in place to assure deliverability and compliance with email marketing standards, using an autoresponder like Getresponse can also be a suitable choice for sending emails to lists that were acquired. To prevent account suspension, it is crucial to confirm that the acquired list complies with Getresponse's requirements and abides by its terms of service.

In conclusion, using an autoresponder like Getresponse or a paid dedicated SMTP server like Amazon SES can be a preferable option for sending emails to lists that have been purchased because they offer better deliverability and compliance with email marketing laws. To prevent account suspension, it is crucial to abide by the policies and conditions of the email service provider.

Autoresponders' prices are very high. In addition, They close accounts after uploading the purchased data.

Self-hosted system + dedicated IP + good warm-up + good plan is fine.

Ultimately, It depends on the quality of the data.

Why don't you try Lemlist / Instantly with Mail boxes like Office 365 (paid) or Zoho (free).

Buy some domains .com is available at $3 on spaceship.com (Namecheap project) with coupon com67 and add them to wamup to instantly.

Don't buy shared SMTP or Getresponse/Amazon SES as you will be suspended in later case, and won't achieve the deliverablity in former case.

Every list you purchase, should be verified (Zerobounce is the best option). Otherwise Reoon is also the recommended one (search Appsumo for a Lifetime deal if you are lucky one) to verify each list and contact.

I personally use both and they have amazing results. You can buy Office365 mailboxes directly. I don't know if it's against the rule to sell something here.

Yes, man, I avoid shared IPs. I use Self Hosted Email + dedicated IPs and can upload lists of millions of data

That's real, Zerobounce is the best Email Verifier, but this is the first time I hear about Reoon.

It was a great post from you, Thank you.

Id stay away from purchased list in general but if your confident in actually generating a response and engagement from the list either way would be fine as you will have people who will positively engage with your emails which is what ESPs care about most.

Lead Decay is a real thing and happens fast, you can have the best deliverability setup in the world but if they haven't been mailed and are no longer warm and have no idea who you are then you'll end up killing your reputation Quick.

At best Id add slowly in batches and heavily segment based on engagement.

And Yes you need to warm. Especially if your domain/ip is fresh. But it can be done on your own.
