Everyone joins our lists for free at first so what makes someone a freebie seeker? Does it have more to do with their disposable income or intent in joining?

A freebie seeker is a person just like any other real person. Everybody has the power to buy if they really wanted to, and if they really needed what you offer. Some people just care about the freebie and will never buy no matter how good your offer is. Other people will buy, but they first need your trust. With all the garbage that is out online today, people don't know who to trust. So it's important that you show your subscribers that you are really their for them, and make recommendations that will help them If your subscribers trust you they will buy from you. Some people won't ever buy anything no matter how good of information you send them that's just the way it is.

Freebie seekers refer to those people who often come to a squeeze page and optin just because they want the FREE stuffs. Often times they sign up and unsubscribe right after they download the freebie...

Some ways to make sure they STICK:
      1. Don't give the downloadable in the thank you page. Send them a welcome email that goes to great length about how awesome it is to stick with you. Insert your download link there.
      2. Offer them a $1 offer right after opting in. Because of the low cost barrier, people will be more eager to buy. And hey you got a buyer instead of a freebie seeker!
      3. Give them freebie in the form of an email series. They have stick in order to get everything!

      Hope that helps!

Great advice from Budi T. Personally I like to get to know someone before I guy from them. I want to know they really are an expert at what they teach and that I can get value from them. Anyone can throw together a high converting squeeze page but a lot of people cant prove their expertise and build a relationship with you. People are looking for someone that resonates with them and can truly give them what they need before they pull the trigger on a purchase. Like Budi said, a great way to overcome that is hitting them with a $1 offer immediately and turning them into a buyer. If you give them great content for that $1 a lot of them will be back for more.

      Hey Dave,
Freebie's only intent from the beginning of the Optin is to get that free gift. I try to mix it up and qualify them by offering a Course along with the gift. It works good.

And always get the Freebie to your Prospect via email .
