The challenge is simple: 1) Go to your local mall and walk up to small kiosk holders (not stores). They're usually right in between the stores, about 200 feet apart. 2) Ask this question: "Hello, are you the owner of this kiosk?" No matter what the answer is, follow it up with: "Do you have a website?" 3) Establish a basic connection. Exchange business cards, or just get their first name, business name and a phone number and promise to call them later that evening (ask what would be convenient for them). Post back here and tell us how it went! What's in it for you? First of all, you will probably make some money this week if you do this. If you're one to get up and grab the money that's right in front of you, then I congratulate you before you even do anything. Second of all, at the end of the month, I will assign each author who posted back an incremental number, and use a random generator to pick a winner. The winner gets my exclusive WSO, called The Ring Leader, for free! The idea here is to help people who are taking action land even more sales (maybe for the next mall a few towns over :rolleyes ![]() Best Regards, vip-ip ... |

That's a great idea! I actually want to try it out ... however now with the ice cold weather and heavy thunderstorms, I don't feel like travelling to town ... I'll try out your challenge as soon as I'll make it to the mall and update you ... Please God. GOOD LUCK ![]() |

Thanks for the motivational input. I live in a remote rural community and the nearest mall is a 2 hours journey. I can't afford a car right now and my only options are the bus which runs once in 2-3 hours or hitching a lift at the junction. In heavy rain people avoid driving the muddy country road so my chances of getting a lift are lowered by more than 50%. Once my online business gets going, please God, then I'll be able to run a car. Anyway, I'm learning to function on an extremely low budget and that's an important lesson in business. In the next 2 weeks I have to go up to Jerusalem to hand in my tax forms. The tax authorities are next to a mall. Then I'll try out your suggestion and give you and update.

Why not also find small businesses around the area of that mall and phone them before you go and book some appointments. Make you trip to the tax office pay for itself | |

I will try it, but I think it need a lot of exercise in order for the fish to catch the bit. Of course it sound good and promising but still needs practice, especially on talking...

I have something in mind, vip-ip. Several mini market close to my house can be offered with opening a online store with direct delivery service. Have you any idea of the cost to make it happen? For setting up ecommerce site, and everything. Or maybe you have any suggestion, because I am willing to make a proposal for them so they know exactly what do they get. |

Good Idea Vip-Ip, But really a good sales person will only participate in it. I know some of the Internet marketers are not good in direct selling. But by using the copy writing techniques and all they are more successful. Like me I am tried to sell anything before except on my computer shop where people will come already come with intention to buy. I think your challenge is great idea for people like me to start direct selling. Oh! iminaction, Whole eCommerce site can be design from $500 to $1500, according to your requirement. Regards |

I'm not too good at approaching people face to face, but waited for a few of the smaller stalls to close and left them a flyer stating I had noticed they hadnt got a website address listed on their stall and if they were interested I was doing a promotional discount at the moment for small one page websites, later that day I had 6 replies ![]() |

Yes i tried it once and maximum ppl are the owner of the stall or business. Means 80-20% ratio is there. 80% are the owner and 20% work there. But I didn't make any money.

I like this idea... wish here was a mall within 3 hours of where I live. Oh well, it still might be worth trying next time I am at the mall.
