I am not sure what kind of "software" you are speaking of. I write all my articles on microsoft word.

If you are referring to "spinners" I don't like any of them. However, I use Open Office to do my writing.

I've never had much luck with spinners. I've only tried free ones and they just turned my articles into a pile of illegible garbage. Maybe spinner that you pay for would work better, but my brain does all my work and doesn't charge me for it

A spinner only spits out what you put in to it. It puts out garbage because you aren't using it right. When spinning articles, best way to do it is to write three versions of the same paragraph, with 5-6 paragraphs per article, and spin by different paragraphs. If each paragraph describes the exact same thing, yet in different words, your spun articles will look much better.

And, honestly, just about any spinner, even free ones, can do this. Quite simple, really. When people talk about spinners not producing readable articles it's ok, they just haven't learnt how to do it the right way if you want something that makes sense.

Ive written articles in 2 ways.
    1. off the top of my head - use TED Notepad - its just a text editor
    2. with a template - use something that handles outlines well.

Have tried all kinds of goofy tools and appliances, but in the end I discovered that the tools were distracting me from the real thing that needed doing... and that was WRITING THE ARTICLE!!!!

    Just pick anything and ........write.

If you truly just want a software to write your articles and not a spinner then I'd recommend to use Word. Use OpenOffice Writer if you need a free alternative.

Because this is an Internet Marketing Forum, and not just a writer's forum, the answer is:

      >>>>>>>>>> Instant Article Wizard <<<<<<<<<<<
      by Jonathan Leger.

They have a $7 Trial and then $77 per year.
It is recommended that you do some editing and grammar checking after the articles are generated. Nowadays, after the Panda updates, you need quality content so Google will maintain your rankings.

If you want the best article spinning software, I have been referred to "The Best Spinner" by Jonathan Leger. It is also around the $77 per year price point.

I like to use my WordPress editor to write my articles, it's easier to use one style of editor.

If you're loking for software to write articles for you, you would be better off going to elance.com or somewhere like it and have a free lancer write articles for you.

Wow, I don't know about this. You really need to have a very popular broad topic. That's why the demo videos focused on colon cancer. I tried using IAW to create an article on guitar playing and surround sound and I wasn't too pleased with the results... plus it took forever to find relevant content.

The problem is that its formatting codes are not designed for use online, and wherever you paste/submit the article, after writing it that way, you're typically going to need to lose some of them, to avoid HTML complications ... and those formatting codes can't even all be seen (without specifically instructing the software to show them).

An easy solution to that problem is to copy-paste the text in and out of Notepad after writing it in Word, which strips out the concealed formatting codes ... but, if you're going to do that anyway, why write it in Word in the first place?

The best article writing software i have tried would be Instant Article Wizard
alongside The Best Spinner. Both are good products with top notch support. Both are created and maintained by Jonathan Leger who has been designing software since he was a teenager. If used properly you can get high quality unique content with these tools.

Microsoft word would be a very neat software to write articles to.
But if you mean the spinner, that would be The Best Spinner is the best spinner, because the spun articles are copyscape free.

Hi Nehemiah, in my book there's no one and I mean absolutely no one that holds a candle to The Best Spinner (TBS). And don't get me wrong I'm aware that technically it isn't an article writing software or at least that's not what its most known for.

But you can certainly use it that way if you want to do so and if you do you'll end up having some tip top content on your hands.

Another thing is that I'm aware that there are many folks who don't like using spinners, rewriters, and so forth because they feel that these computer aided tools result in unreadable gibberish.

What I'd say to that is that as someone who's responsible for churning out several pieces of stellar content per day the Best Spinner has helped me tremendously. I use it with PLR and use the paragraph re-write (I'm one of those folks whose better at improving stuff than coming up with brand new stuff so this suits me perfectly) feature to totally rewrite each phrase in my own words and then go back and replace or spin individual words as needed. Also, I am using their beta version (i think its version 3.016) and it's got a comparison tool that will knock your socks off.

My second fav article writing tool is called Article Architect. It's a rewriter or a writing aid in the true sense of those two words. What I like about Article Architect is that it makes it super easy to research topics and research keywords. When you're done with doing those two things you can write your articles and then organize them around your keywords.

Oh, it also comes with a really nifty title suggestion engine. The only reason I wouldn't put that above TBS is the support. Jon Leger, the mind behind TBS, does an awesome job when it comes to frequent updates and support.

Article Architect on the other hand is updated really infrequently and last I heard it was up for sale by the owner. At any rate they're both great tools and in all honesty you couldn't go wrong with either one.
