Optimize press with self hosted autoresponder

I'm creating a site that will need to do autoresponding newsletters. I'm going to try this with Optimize Press. Does anybody know of any auto repsonders that are self hosted that will work with Optimize Press. I'm looking at this sytem WordPress › Wysija Newsletters « WordPress Plugins for wordpress. Has anybody used that WYSIJA plugin before? Any help would be appretiated. Thanks

Wysija newsletters do work and you can customize them to your need. But the one I have is not self hosted but something that i have included within my hosting network. You can check my site (in my profile) on athletic shoes where the news letters are managed using the Wysija plugin.

Try Interspire E-mail Marketer. I have been using it for 2 1/2 years. It is one of the best solutions for self-hosted, however it is much easier to use Aweber.
