Excellent suff taught at NPA. Joined the membership and soaked evything up. Keywordmatrix is a great piece of software. A little bit dissapointed with the websites templates. They might be o.k for things like basket weaving or bead making but no way would I use one of them to tackle a somewhat more competitive market. The principles and methods they teach at NPC are really good and gave me a lot of new ideas. But I personally don't think that it is neccesary to stay around longer than a month. The two niche packs that they provide is not worth $67 a month imo. Another thing that bothered me was the success forum. It is just members with their progress updates. I read a couple of posts from people asking if anybody is actually making any money and it seems like nobody actually was. But as far as niche marketing, NPC is probably as good as they come

I've been following NPC for some time now and they do provide the BEST content about niche marketing ever since The Underachiever Method.

I've heard people talked bad stuff about NPC but in my own opinion, NPC has the greatest tools and information about niche marketing.

But niche marketing is not easy -- so don't pay for a niche marketing guide without knowing what niche marketing is. However, niche marketing can really be profitable and best of all, it can be almost passive.

    The good:
    - I like the keyword tool
    - the email follow up course, the niche research using Amazon - I found lots of useful and unique information in these videos.
    - Ready-made niche business is awesome. They already provide eBooks, covers, sales letter and articles which you can publish into pdf and sell like you own.
    - They recommend you to hire someone else to spin articles, write follow up messages. Save lots of my time.

    The bad:
    - I think they should include tutorials about PPC traffic as well. Don't expect you'll get much traffic, and more important email leads with their methods.
    - The outsourcing strategy might not suitable if you are on low budget.

I took advantage of a special offer right before NPC was opened. I thought the layout was great.

There are a lot of video tutorials and complimentary templates you can get on specific niche topics that change regularly.

The course gets into researching a niche, how to structure your site, create traffic, and many other topics.

Since I studied with Yaro Starak and Ed Dale I didn't feel the need to keep with that program BUT I found it to be easy to navigate and use.

Dale is a bit more difficult and Yaro has a different approach.

I'd say it is worth the investment if you need a well laid out program. They were also doing coaching calls.

If you are Internet Marketing savvy it might be too basic--I am an advanced beginner and found it useful since it clarified a few things I wasn't quite getting.

I am starting to doubt the effectiveness of their website structure. The index page is basically the squeeze page. The only way you can access the rest of the website is through scrolling to the bottom of the page where you will find sitemap|privacy policy| etc. only there will you be able to access the rest of the website.

Well I'm going to post my 2 cents worth here. I have been a member of NPC and it is absolutely outstanding. As a newbie, at times I had a ton of questions and not once could I complain about the follow up. Always came through for me.

There is so much value you get as a member and the free content that Adam gives out to his subscribers at times is worth gold. As well, I feel that Adam and Alen are among the few people on the net with integrity and honesty.

I found that I learned A LOT from NPC but there could be some improvements. Some things that NPC is excellent for teaching you include:

-how to setup a niche site using wordpress from scratch
-how to setup a free mini-course using Aweber
-get a basic understanding of SEO and article marketing
-how to create your own product and put it on Clickbank or become an affiliate for a Clickbank product

This is all invaluable stuff. However, I found that 2 areas lacked:

            1) Keyword research- the old keyword tool they provided was simply not good enough and put us in a niche that was too competitive. The new one is much better but still lacks a little bit. After choosing the keywords I'd still go check the top 10 results for each keyword using SEOQuake, paying careful attention to how many backlinks and indexed pages the competitors have.

            2) The backlinking strategy is not strong enough. I don't see how you could expect to get first page rankings using the suggest backlinking strategy.. it needs to be ramped up a lot. I'd incorporate tools such as The Best Spinner, Article Marketing Robot, Sick Submitter and even a good link network such as BuildMyRank.com. See nichesiteduel.com for a good backlinking strategy.

OVERALL I would suggest getting this program as it will teach you a lot of the basics. However, try to learn everything you can in a few months than get out because you will need that money for backlinking. Use Market Samurai as your new keyword tool.

NPC is really good inexplaining how a site should be structured, how to do keyword research, how to do anchortext etc. The technical things that many 'guru's' forget to tell you.

I've made money with their recipe. It works.

You don't need much traffic to make money by the way, if you get the right visitor, because you've choosen the right keywords.

It is, now. It used to be $47/month.

NPC is a good course. Not sure how anyone can go through it and say the info is no good. Their product creation info is about as informative as any I have seen. If you do what they say, you have a good chance to make money.

Having said that, after a month or two, there isn't much point in sticking around, unless you want access to their hosting, and the two products they release each month. Also, the sites they give you don't look anywhere near as good as the ones on the salespage. Lastly, I just don't believe their fish site is earning what they claim it is. It doesn't have the rankings for it, and they don't seem to be promoting it via ppc.

All in all though, they have a good system there. I have a couple of their sites up and running, and they make me between $150-$250 a month each. If I put more effort into them, I'm sure they would do better. Just don't have the time right now.

I'd say there's not a whole lot of difference between them. They both teach you to do pretty much the same thing, except AB 2.0 focuses on affiliate products, NPC focuses on promoting and creating your own products. The techniques are basically the same, it's just the relationship to the product that is different.

IMHO, you can't go wrong with either one, as long as you're willing to put in the work. I wouldn't get both though. There's just not enough difference between the two to justify getting both, unless you have the money to spend.

Thanks BHC...I believe you are correct, the only real concern i have when i compare sales letter for both AB 2.0 & NPC 2.0, product creation and marketing seems to be the thing for long term success in the IM business.

Let me know your thoughts on that.

I agree. I purchased AB 2.0 and thought it was an awesome course. I tried NPC soon after and did not see enough difference to justify the $67/month membership.

I only tried the standard membership so I can't say much about the upgraded $97/month access.

I thought overall it was a good site but I felt like AB 2.0 was a better fit for me.

Joined NPC2 on the 7 day 1$ trial that closes today after going through Mark Ling's pitch. However, much as all the affiliates of the program are saying about sending a receipt to them for the bonus offered if one sign through their links, on signing up, there was no receipt issued.

Now, I wonder if the affiliates really themselves bought the program or not. If they do, they will know that no receipt is issued. NPC2 just bring you directly to the login page after successfully signing up. What a lamer. There were those days where after paying up, one will be brought to the download page for the bonus. Nowadays, it seem the affiliates are not so close to their product owner when they sell the product. After the sale, the after-sale is left to the customer to tie up any loose ends.

          Adam,

I gotta say that I was pretty frustrated with support and just sent you a PM regarding the last issue that needs to be resolved.

Guessing everyone was slammed with the launch--but it was a good insight from a buyer's perspective (since I am getting ready to launch a product) as to what matters to the customer.

Anyway, glad to see you here and hope to get things sorted out sooner than later.

For the Warrior talking about the reviews--I posted an NPC 2.0 review on my blog (first one in my sig) which talks about pros and cons and why they did not retain me. It is pretty long so I didn't want to post it here. (Should come up as first article for until late August 2009).

The training looks good inside, I canceled before the trial ended

I joined at the initial launch and I'm very pleased. The instruction is complete and top-notch and they continue adding to it. There are regular teleseminars and I think they're worth a good part of the membership fee.

Not for everyone, I suppose, but what is?

I strongly suggest you give the trial a chance and find out for yourself. I've done worse - a lot worse - and for a lot more money. I plan on sticking with this.

The reason usually is no one wants to reveal what "it" is they are having success with. Imagine you find yourself a nice, profitable niche, and then post your success on that forum. Within a few days to maybe a week, you're going to find some "company" in your niche. Just some food for thought...

NPC caught my attention because the MoneyWord Matrix sounded so cool, so that was the first thing I checked out. Then I realized other software products basically perform keyword research the same way or are based on the same principle. To speed up the viewing of these videos, I use Enounce MySpeed. There's a ton of videos and supporting materials. I might stick around after the 7 day trial and a month or two. Be careful not to click on the upgrade button for the professional version because it will automatically charge you unless you are ready to outsource. NPC will required a lot of time and effort on your part. I don't think it's 100% autopilot as mention in the sales letter. There is some "maintenance," required. When you upgrade to profressional and apply the outsourcing strategies, perhaps that will be the moment when things are handsfree.

Not that anyone will care, but from a dude
who has made a few bucks doing this stuff
    here's my honest take:

#1: NPC is easily the best information for
the money I have ever seen (Yes. I am a
    member)

#2: The information is formatted in a way
which totally makes sense and is really easy
    to follow.

    #3: I know Adam/Alen personally and will
vouch up and down to their knowledge and
    desire to help you succeed

#4: Niche marketing is a fantastic way to make
some great money without a whole bunch
    of daily labor.

Here's the reality of niche marketing:

In my personal experience a niche site can
be expected to ad an extra $50K - $100K to
    your bottom line per year.

AKA: an individual site will not make you rich.

They can take about 5 - 7 days to ramp up fully
(If you follow the info in NPC)

Nice sites are about as close as you'll get to totally
    passive income.

Anyway... NPC is sweet because I simply use
what they show to pick a market, pick a product,
pick a site and then have them do the rest.

Their forum is also very, very good.

The fact they're running a 7 day trial for
$1 should be low cost enough to at least check out.

    Hope that helps,

    Jonny

The 3 Reasons I think NPC2 has good potential is:
    1. The guy who sent me the $1 promo is a winner and wouldn't risk harming his reputation by promoting some 2nd rate rehashed B.S.
    2. I've added the NPC2 sales letter to my Swipe File and I am very stingy with what gets saved & archived in this puppy.
    3. The 2x July Niche Packs (neither of which turn me on) are quite thorough and shows these guys know from whence they speak.
My one reservation is that I don't have a killer product of my own yet.

I believe someone already said that NPC2 works better if you have your own product to promote on your 10-100 page niche site? Maybe someone in this thread can shed some light on this from personal experience?

PS: I clicked a few of the links in the sigs on this thread and curious to ask; isn't having an affiliate link in your sig a no-no around here?

I have tried several times to join during the launch. Unforturnately I never managed to sign up yet. There were initial problems with my cc being declined. Checked with my bank and no problems. Kept retrying but then had the problem that the 'username' was already in use. And after trying several times, and several usernames later, I am still no further forward.

I tried emailing support and after a few days was advised to try again. Still no luck and I've just tried again.

24 Hours later, I am happy to report that I've completed ONE of the 15x Bonus Tools that came with the $1 NPC2 offer. Even though I dropped a couple hundred on XSite Pro v2 to build a few SEO enhanced websites, I keep coming back to WP for my main content site on Social Media Money and both Alexa and Google reward me for creating fresh new relevant content.

For hose who jumped on the $1 seven day trial (make sure you READ) the SEOPressFormula e-Book and the accompanying audio & video tutorials. This single tool is worth the price of admission, especially if you have a WP Blog.

Granted, reading yet another big ole e-Book is a royal PITA, but the handful of tips and tricks I've just learned are going to improve my stuff in a big way and I'm sure you will reap the same benefit if you pulled the trigger on NPC2.

I just recently cancelled my NPC membership. It does provide a lot of useful information, but it really wasn't what I was looking for. I don't like the emphasis on creating your own product without testing the market first.

Doesn't it make sense to sell some affiliate products first, just to see if they convert? Before spending all that time/money on creating a product... it just seems backwards to me.

I don't like the idea of ready-made niche packs. I really don't understand why people hop all over them like they're pure gold. I mean, you're just competing against a bazillion other members making the exact same website in the exact same niche.

I didn't really like the layout of the information. It IS step by step, but I felt like the lessons were out of order. I couldn't make sense of why, for instance, there's a video on finding images to use for your website, before the lesson on registering a domain name.

I'd watch a few videos and then be instructed to go to another part of the website to find the next video. Then I'd have to go back to the classroom. Couldn't they have kept it all in one place?

Anyway, I don't mean to sound negative, but this is just my personal experience with the program. I really like Adam Short, I like the way he teaches, but NPC just wasn't what I was looking for, I guess.

(I was also scared off by the number of negative posts in the NPC forum... and I couldn't find any success stories either.)

I totally agreed. I spent $497 on a similar product, and feel overwhelming about how to attract traffic to my site. Total waste of money, and my effort. It is not as easy as they say. Yes, a lot of contents, and yet a hell lot of confusion.

Im a Niche Profit Leader and also one of the NPC forum moderators. Your comment is pertinent and it also proves NPC is the REAL DEAL. No hype, no lies, exaggerations or overblown success stories.

Niche marketing is not for amateurs, which indicates that if you can get it right, you will start making money.

One of the niche markets that I stepped into is "baby colic" and I built my site by following instructions. (Baby Colic Stop - Fast Relief For Babies With Colics)

After a mere three months, my Google Webmaster tools is showing that I have 96 keywords ranking in the top 10 of Google search results. When I started out back in the beginning of March 2009 I had been trying to get this type of result for months.

Thank-you NPC and Adam and Alen!!!

This is a highly competitive market, yet my site gets ranked consistently and I can boast around 50 visits/day and rising consistently and YES, this is FREE TRAFFIC.

As to the negative comments you are referring to I fail to see your point. People say what they think on the forum, but if you are referring to negative comments that were posted while the site was being upgraded, these were no big deal. A lot of people were expecting miracles and found out that Niche Profit Classroom is a website that is run by humans who can answer to only so many support tickets every day.

Sometimes technology needs a little tweaking, as most succesful IM marketers well know.

I recently join NPC and so far, it's been pretty good. The training classroom is so detailed and even a complete newbie can learn. I am looking forward to build my first niche website and hopefully start making money very soon. However, I still don't understand why the ready made niche is available to us if Adam himself already have this website. Wouldn't that be too much competition?

I think the niche packs are really more or less to practice with. I am about done with one. Thats a great tool to learn the process. Look on the NPC forums, there are a few threads about this very subject. Remember, the internet is a vast place. Wouldn't hurt to do your own keyword research as well and try to rank for some words that others aren't.

It is interesting to know that Adam shared his fish site with hundreds if not thousands of people and that this did not hurt the business one bit.

I've recently come to know about an Affiliate Program that is promoting a WP plug-in that I figure the vast majority of WP Blog sites will have very soon. Yeah sure, I am an affiliate of these guys [note] my post and my sig are void of any affiliate links since 1) its against the rules and 2) it has nothing to do w/ the point I'm trying to contribute here:

What I find is relevant to this thread is HOW these guys do what they do.
      • great sales copy
      • excellent product value
      • easy to follow video tutorial
      • strong affiliate marketing tools
I've added their sales page to my SWIPE file coz it has ALL of the elements I think are needed in complete website product sale offering, that I think ar required before I would sign on with a Affiliate Merchant.

What I think is worth looking into further (for those trying to get your arms around this whole "how to" phase) is their affiliate marketing back end cPanel admin. stuff. Since it doesn't cost us anything to sign on as an affiliate, seeing how they package and present their product, gives you a good idea on how and what YOUR future product site should include.

Besides, it speaks to one of the critical things EVERY site owner needs (ie) building a large LIST of prospective buyers and doing it in a professional manner w/out the typical hype and salesy nonsense.

I agree, the information for complete newbies in very valuable. Even at $67.00 a month.

Everything was taught on a nice easy gradient with first things first.

I loved the step by step videos and was able to refer back to them while I was setting up my sites.

What I noticed was that people did not follow exactly what was taught and would often change the sales letter or opt in page. It is always a good idea to do exactly what is taught until you know enough to expand.

The forum was very helpful and I always got a quick response from support.

Hi I just ended my NPC membership because:

        1
Its not valuable for me anymore and I should have finished it long time ago. I have been a member since Jan 2009. I stayed a member long time just because the videos on how to setup the blog (Niche Profit Press) is only available online and it kind of pisses me off because that was really complicated/many steps (And I dont care of them needing to protect their intellectual property, huh !).

And the NEW quick builder is ONLY available inside membership area...eeeeh...so if you want to be a member FOREVER its great.......thats why I started to really dislike NPC, if you learned enough and you dont want it anymore you will loose on how to setup NPP files (now old version, I guess they will not even release videos now !!! Inellectual property on how to keep on preparing forever) and you will not have access to this new builder, thats why I am angry with them, CRAP !!!........I have already gone through the training and took what I wanted from it. Its great training for 1 or 2 months as someone mentioned here earlier, but then......just say bye bye. There is a lot more better alternatives than NPP blog builder.

        2
At the same time I have learned a lot from their excellent videos that is of very high quality. I have learned how to get to page number one with their so called money word matrix (for more than 5 keyword phrases in one self made niche) and how to link correctly from ezine articles.

        3
Their keyword tool is faulty in my experience. Instead I use Market Samurai and Google. I used those to check if it was correct, and it wasnt. I have also checked their readymade package keywords and many of the comptition results are completely wrong.......it may say a keyword phrase only have 4000 pages BUT then I checked with my other tools and there was millions ! This is what many members pointed out from the beginning and I think they more or less ignored this and it seems they still do.

They post dates on the home page of when they are going to release new material, and consistently miss those dates and disappoint people waiting for the training. Currently they are over a week late on releasing the latest training video that has been promised for some time.
I'm sorry you need to post these kind of questions in the Warrior forum, we have our own forum for solving this type of problems and I did not find anyone posting about this anywhere on the NPC forum.

Which training video are you talking about? I'd love to escalate this issue to solve it ASAP. These issues are usually solved within 24 hours.

The new automator is great for people that don't have a clue on how to install Wordpress and only want to use NPC's hosting for their sites; however, if you have ever installed Wordpress successfully at least once, and don't want to use NPC's hosting (why would you, otherwise if you ever left NPC you'd have an enormous hastle of moving your sites) it is not a big time saver or very useful.
I beg to differ. This week I installed 7 blogs with the Automator in less than 2 days. As I wrote before, it works like a charm. There are many sites and softwares available that offer similar services (WP install automation) but they will cost you either a monthly subscription or a substantial sum of money. You are, naturally, entitled to your opinion.

As for migrating to another server, it is not really a hassle. I have moved sites from the NPC host to another host in less than a day. The cPanel allows one to create a backup copy of the site for migrating purposes. By uploading the backup via FTP to the new host, the only thing that needs to be done is changing the nameservers and wait for the new setting to propagate. Personally, I had my sites moved from the NPC host to a new host and back online in 24 hours, so I fail to see your point.

The folks posting these great positive comments are super affiliates and forum leaders at NPC, which may be little biased???

There are quite a few unhappy campers within the NPC forums. My advice to you would be to sign up and immediately (before your trial period is over) go to the forums and do some of your own homework on how happy people are, and then do some digging to find the people making $500 - $5000 per month with their sites...but a word of caution...you may be unpleasantly surprised - as is the case with many existing customers
Without proof, this statement is pure supposition.

Can you prove the positive comments on this forum all come from biased super affiliates? As for the statement about unhappy campers, allow me to classify that as "balderdash", it is simply not true. There are thousands of happy subscribers who are proof enough of the contrary.

Personally, I am an NPC leader. That means I give some of my time to help people on the NPC forum for which I do not get paid.

This is an example of what I can read on the NPC forum:

When I look at my own results after investing 10 months following the Niche Profit method, I am not able to state that I am satisfied with the results I obtained, but that does not mean that the method or NPC is at fault.

Rather, I take an honest look at my own actions. My Niches don't produce results I would have liked to see because I failed to follow through on a number of actions that would have helped my cause. That was my own choice. I would not dream of assigning any blame to the NPC people for my own shortcomings because I would be deceiving myself.

I have been a member at NPC now for 6 months, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best experiences I've ever had, with any company online.

They provide better support than any other Internet marketing training company out there, and here's why.

#1 - they have a helpdesk. True - sometimes it takes 1-2 days to get a support ticket answered, but I don't get why anyone would it expect it to be faster?

#2 - They have a forum, where 12 - yes TWELVE - people called "Niche Profit Leaders" are there posting all the time helping members. We're talking ongoing support here. This feature alone to me is worth the cost of the membership.

#3 - They have webinars twice per week, where Adam and Alen get on a call for 2-3 hours FREE OF CHARGE to all members, and do hot seats and answer FAQ's live.

      It's really an amazing thing.

When I see someone posting negative things about support, I kind of chuckle, because I know that person has probably spent little if any time in the website. And I feel bad for Adam and Alen, who spend so much time and energy helping members and improving the site.

I hope they are reading this now, because perhaps they need to step back and stop trying so hard. Seriously - you guys put in so much effort and look at what people say? It's sad.

Let me tell you -- I've been in the Internet marketing game for years now -- since 99 actually...and I have never seen 2 guys with so much heart, who also happen to be so damned smart.

So, when I see negative comments being posted about them or their intentions -- or comments like "the blind leading the blind" I feel that Adam and Alen are being treated unfairly.

Over the last 6 months alone, they have added - in my opinion - more value to the website than is even fathomable. And they're adding new value literally every week.

For instance --- this week ALONE...they have added a brand new site builder called Niche Profit Press Professional to the members area, and they've totally upgraded one of their core video courses (158 videos by the way).

Tell me who else out there does this sorta thing?????

Anyway -- I could say a lot more, but I'll stop for now.

Honestly... it doesn't matter to me if anyone ever joins NPC. But I do feel that it's important that people have the whole picture, and see the full perspective of what a truly wonderful service NPC actually is, at least in my opinion.

Well, this isn't the first time I see NPC Leaders being accused of having no opinion of their own (or not being allowed to voice their opinion) because of their relationship to NPC.

This isn't the main point of the conversation, and I don't want to change the thread into that. Here's my review (and yes, I am one of the leaders).

      THE CLASSROOM

As others have said, NPC offers a lot of detail and step-by-step information. The Classroom videos consist of splitting a niche site creation in 12 steps.

      THE MEDIA CENTER

The resources available at the Media Center are also very good and offer info such as how to build pages at Squidoo and Hubpages, Chunk Copywriting Course by John Hostler, and so on.

      MAIN POINTS OF THE SYSTEM

The system taught at NPC, from my point of view, has three important aspects:
      - the MoneyWords concept, where you grab free traffic from Google;
      - the emphasis placed on getting people to subscribe to your list from your niche site (in fact, the entire site is about proving free information and preselling to the visitors);
      - the minicourse, which contains elements to sell your ebook (or whatever product you choose to promote).

So, yeah, similar concepts to other courses. Experienced marketers can look at this and say it's all out there, you can find it for free, blahblahblah.

However, NPC is a one-stop place for a newbie. Overthere s/he finds all the information he needs on concepts such as:
      - how to setup his/her niche site,
      - article marketing,
      - list building
      - soft and hard sells through email.

      KICK-ASS TOOLS

      Along with tools such as:
      - Niche Profit Press Pro, which is the recently updated WordPress theme where you manage most of your things on the backend,
      - MoneyWords Keyword Tool, which automates the keyword research process,
      - Market Profiler, to help choosing markets to follow or not prior to start building a new niche site.
      - A friendly forum, where people help each other to grow and profit.

      ANNOYING CONS

Do I think NPC is perfect? Far from it. There are elements that I don't like as well.

I'm not much of a visual learner -- I mean, I am, though I prefer to see videos once and read instructions twice, instead of watching a video and having to pay attention to the audio because that's the main communication channel.

I'd much rather download and print a few PDF files, since I like to scratch things and feel my hand guiding a pen through paper. Adam and Alen decided they won't offer downloadable videos or PDF files because of piracy and copyright issues, which I understand, although this decision doesn't fit all learning styles.

Other things I don't like: I live in Japan, which is a different time zone from the Pacific. The webinars are hosted at 10am in the morning, twice a month on Fridays, and that's a bad time for me to spend two hours in front of the computer. Plus, they usually take some a good 1-2 weeks to upload the recordings to the server and they upload the files as a one piece only. If you are loading and watching the file, but something happens after 40 minutes, you gotta restart watching all over again. It has happened to me once or twice.

As for support, I only needed it once because of a login issue (case sensitive problem), and I had no problems at that time.

      NPC: YAY OR NAY?

If you are a newbie, come on in. The tools over there will help you a lot. The training videos are very good as well.

If you have already spent money on other people's products, but haven't reached success yet, then NPC is also for you. It will train your eyes to recognize patterns on the internet on what works and what's hype.

If you already have some success online, but you think you still need training, then go for Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula or Brian Clark's Teaching Sells. $2,000 a piece, but we are all sure these guys know what they are talking about.

And if you think you don't need any training whatsoever, then either hide your secrets to online profits or come up with your own system, setup your own $1 trial I'll be the first to say goodbye to NPC and subscribe to your content if it's really good.

      Best,
      Diogo

I just have to add my 2 cents about NPC. I am a former Leader from NPC but left at the beginning of July. There are definitely positives and negatives to this membership site as I see them, so here they are:

    POSITIVES:

    • You can definitely make money using this model. I personally am making over $1000 a month on one niche site that I launched while at NPC and it continues to bring in money month after month on autopilot.
    • The step by step videos are a great resource and the webinars are extremely informative.

    NEGATIVES:

    • The support is terrible. This is not something new as its been this way since I started back in February (and I'm sure even earlier.)
    • The monthly niche packs are useless. If they are to be used as intended (as a learning tool) then there's no reason to launch new ones every month as this just dilutes good niches and turns them into crap.
    • There were always bugs in the system and problems with tools and software which was unfair to people who pay a monthly fee to be part of the site.

So why did I leave NPC? I was very unhappy with the decision they made to not automatically "grandfather" all members into the the latest upgrade. They clearly stated that all members would not have to pay more for the newest perks (after all members had suffered with broken links, software, etc for months on end.)

They were even recorded on a webinar stating this and they still denied it and refused to honor their word. To me, even though their information is good, I lost faith in their credibility and felt I couldn't be coached by people I no longer believed in.

I know some NPC people here will be pissed at me saying this, but I think my opinion deserves to be heard as well.

Well id like to chime in here and give my opinion aswell. First off this course is good and fairly complete I was impressed at the start and although there methods are pretty basic I figured there spin on things might be just what my business needed.

After I finished going through the videos I went over to the " Success Forum " thinking there would be alot of great stories but not to be a bad guy here but I never found a single success story that resulted in more then one sale a month. I gotta say this kind of got me down that thousands of people couldn't make this work as it was supposed to but I pressed on applying the lessons.

In the end I had a few products getting some traffic but not much to say as far as sales go. Im not new to marketing I work fulltime and do quite well so I will be sticking to my own methods but I will keep some things I learned from NPC.

And yes the support was what pushed me over the edge it was non existent the whole time I was a member and I see Alen saying there overflowed and I can understand that but when your bringing in what 250-500k a month im sure you can afford to hire more then 4 support workers? am I right?

Anyways I would of liked to see the owners in the forum helping people out instead of the leaders who have no success themselves. Wealthy affiliate is very good about this those guys are great I wish the NPC guys would follow in there foot steps.

Im not trying to ruin NPC but this is my experience and as everyone has said the product is good but more interaction is needed or it's not worth the money. I see that all the leaders are chiming in here with 1 post so obviously some back up was called in but it's just my opinion boys no need to " step toe to toe with anyone "

      Trevor, thanks for your insights.

About the 250 - 500k/month. Think about it. Are you really in a position to make these types of claims? Did you see the NPC books?

Did you take into account that 65-75% of sales have been made by affiliates that receive 50% of recurring income?

(I am one of those affiliates, and I received several checks from Adam. NPC pays its affiliates like clockwork and they are scrupulously honest about it)

Did you count production costs, development costs, recurring monthly fees for a plethora of online management programs?

Did you also allow for discounts for credit card fees, employees, cancellations?

It is all too easy to say: "yeah, do the math...2000+ members multiplied by 47$/month is 94k, why don't they hire a couple of extra employees?", so in my humble opinion, in this case, no I don't think you are right.

As for WA...I completely fail to see what you mean. I was a member there for 2 years+, sent in tens of eMails asking for support and NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A REPLY. On the other hand, my credit card got billed every month. Pardon me for not seeing which footsteps NPC should follow here.

Hmm is Alen calling in his affiliates to back him up too? No need to thank me for my insights

Listen.. im here to give a review plain and simple your wasting your breath. Im sure all those signups you got wont go and cancel there membership because I said the support is terrible ( it is ).

My guestimation of 250-500k was based on the 100g's they make per month with free traffic and the overload of new members coming in at such a rate that they cant handle the support. Id say my ballpark figure is pretty good.

And as far as wealthy affiliate goes I have never had a problem with there support matter of fact they handle the emails themselves. Id assume you learned something there or you wouldn't of stayed for 2 years?

Anyways im sorry that my post clearly offended you or you wouldn't of felt the need to come in here and attack it.

        cheers,

          TrevorIs,

Anyways im sorry that my post clearly offended you or you wouldn't of felt the need to come in here and attack it.
Your post did not offend me in the least, quite the contrary.

Even if you write that "my post clearly offended you" this does not mean that reality agrees with you. I won't be able to prevent you from supposing things such as this, but consider the possibility that your conclusion might not be what is in the real world. Let's agree that it is reality to you in your mind.

If someone would try to offend me, I wish them good luck, I've been beyond such waste of time since my 18th birthday, now almost 45 years ago.

Don't waste your time being offended by anything or anyone, it not only drains your energy by diverting it from being put to better use (such as wasting your time formulating a reply to suppositions), it ruins your day to put yourself in such a state of emotion. (Remember that emotions are messengers of the soul.)

I do not wish that for anyone and it was not my intention toward you either.

I'm happy you had a good experience with the WA guys (who are in Canada), it seems you are also from Canada. I reside in a European country and I never got a reply to any of my numerous emails. Just stating facts now, I'm willing to back this up with proof anytime.

Unfortunately, I remained with WA all that time because I believed that someday they would come around and start sending me replies. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, they proved me wrong. Alas, I have to admit that the WA platform was not a good fit for me, as I failed to learn anything there. By this I'm NOT attacking WA, I'm just stating that I did not learn anything of value that helped me create a profitable website.

If merely commenting on your post and offering an alternative point of view and experience is your way of perceiving an attack on your post, then you are almost admitting to the fact you can't stand the idea that someone else has a different opinion or does not necessarily agree with the way you see or perceive things.

This points the finger to the possibility of your need to be right and someone else to be wrong. By falling in this trap we miss the whole point of healthy debate.

May favorable winds fill your sails.

    Diogo,

There has been back to back posts of " Im one of the leaders " as soon as something negative had been said. And all of them including yourself just made there accounts or had 1 whole post.

The point is people want a real review not 10 leaders that Alen requested come here and defend his honor.

    Mahasaya,

Usually people post reviews in the " review section " they dont come in and try and defend everything I said. That and only that is why I said I offended you. I cant think of why else you would of posted what you did.

Secondly I dont have a clue what your talking about you sound like your trying to write a poem in your last message. Once again review section.

And as far as WA goes I dont know why your trying to make a connection between me being Canadian and them also being Canadian does that make me biased or something?.

Listen im sorry you waited for 2 yrs to get a message back from them...... but reality is there program is great and your probably the second person to ever say anything bad about them.

And please dont say any more haiku's to me I gave a review and I explained the products good but the service was not.

Niche Profit Classroom is the best authority program on the market, bar-none.

If you're on the fence, ignore the naysayers. Seriously. There will always be indifferent people.

I never told Adam this, but you got to give Adam major props on his content delivery - it's one of the biggest failing points that every Guru in this came has problems with. The way you deliver and approach to teaching topics is what makes you a GOOD teacher in this game.

Some really ridiculous remarks being made here...

Quite a few about support. For a freaking $1 trial. Are you serious? Anyway...

RE: Support - dude, they have a lot of members and they JUST launched. Cut them some slack for the fact it's only been days and things ease out - they have a support staff that aims to take care of issues.

Long story short without ranting, BUY IT.

Let me repeat that again... BUY IT.

It's one of those few programs that simply demonstrates WHAT WORKS.

No bull**** gurus prancing around and not being completely open about their successes.

These guys are do'ers - and are some of the coolest people I've met in the biz.

I just joined NPC 10 hrs ago, watched a few videos, then its down. its been down for 8 hours ( i am sure it will be much longer). I have joined so many programs, and never have i came across a professionally made management system, this bad. The worst program I encountered was only a minor glitch with either vid bugs or a little hang time with support desk. Adam, you said you learned from Frank Kern, but I dont believe Mr. Kern ever treats his customers in such a fashion. In your introductory videos, you stress on HIGH QUALITY content and management! Well, live up to your words!

I only want to join in the debate because this is just ridiculus. I have never ever seen Mike Filsaime's product undergo such problem, nor aniks, amish's, Shawn Casey's, Tellsman. FOR GOD SAKEs... take better care of your assets....(your npc students). I regret for signing up your program, not knowing that I must go through this much problem, only to learn a few simple basics about IM. I wonder how much the retention rate is for NPC.

It doesnt matter how great the info is in NPC, if the services is poor.

Customer (me) would not live in a 5 star hotel if beds were not made, bathroom not cleaned, lots of garbage, etc...You were put on hold when you called for customer service When they finally answered, it took them hours to help!
..plain and simple....Would you not be mad Adam? The quality of customer service was that poor?

      Regards,

NPC just went through a major upgrade of their SERVERS and I'm pretty certain you experienced nothing less than connection issues due to propagation not being completed.

Have you been able to login normally lately? Why did you not open a support ticket regarding this issue ? I suppose you are giving us a weird compliment here. If you're THAT frustrated because you can't get in, you must be very impatient indeed to start learning. Must be that the information we share is extremely good and you're angry at not being able to start immediately.

As I'm sure you are well aware, updating links worldwide can take up to 48 hours and even longer, depending on where you are located.

I also must point out that when you write:

I have never ever seen Mike Filsaime's product undergo such problem, nor aniks, amish's, Shawn Casey's, Tellsman.
that unfortunately, I can't say the same. I don't think that there is ANY of the great names out there that has never had to cope with broken links, propagation issues or servers that needed to be replaced while in a product launch.

I can't count the emails in my box that start with "sorry, the previous mail contained a broken link, so we're sending it again" even though I suspect this is sometimes yet another clever marketing ploy.

A word of caution though, I don't know if you've seen or read the warning concerning product owner bashing before you post an answer to a thread. You risk being booted out.

        kandabrewer,

This is probably because your support is bogged down with the same questions and problems, over and over again, and the forums are a good reflection of this.
As NPC forum moderator, I can't count the questions from people who are new to IM who want their website up and running perfectly two hours after joining (my impression), without going through the trouble of learning the basics. Learning takes time.

This creates a lot of identical questions that have been answered again and again.

Some people start spitting out rants because their site doesn't appear and when we look at the issue, it seems they haven't updated their nameservers or something equally basic. It's obvious here that we can't possibly live up to some expectations. The videos teaching everything from setting up hosting accounts and learning all about FTP are there.

When we look at these types of support requests we notice that many are struggling with the learning blues, or what I would identify as "resistance to change" issues. That is a tough one to provide support for. I was a newbie myself once and I never encountered anyone tackling this issue. I guess one sets foot on a very slippery slope subject here.

It seems like NPC needs to hire a bunch more technical/support people, however. and not rely on their Leaders' apparently volunteer efforts to pick up the slack.
As one of the leaders I can testify to the fact that I am a volunteer and that I devote time and resources to helping as many as possible. A a whole, the NPC leaders have a crucial role to play. We help Adam and Alen with a lot of things like reporting broken links, escalating critical issues, improving the forum and helping all members with a wide variety of problems.

I'm sure you are aware that any school or tutoring organization will have to deal with human issues and that showing anyone how to duplicate a complex business model is a tall order by any standard. It is a well known fact in the IM community that the vast majority of aspiring Internet Marketers have issues with TAKING ACTION. As far as I can tell, NPC's record in this matter is more successful than any other that I have seen so far.

my apology to WF for violating the rules,

Mahasaya, (yes Mahasaya, you are absolutely right) I am sorry for stating unproven facts.

you may have misunderstood what I meant, or I may have problem explaining my concerns, but anyhow, its not a big problem. I am not frustrated, although my writing may seem so. I was only frustrated becasue of the server down. Nothing serious. I do like the course itself. But really, if Adam do mean everything he said in his videos, then I would really hope he will live up to his expectations as well as ours. I am sure that he will.

Yes you are absolutely right! I did not want to waste another second. But now, i can only wait. Umm...dont know if you would. But just on a personal side note, will you personally help me if I came across some problem with NPC?

      Alex,

But just on a personal side note, will you personally help me if I came across some problem with NPC?
Niche Profit Leaders will try to help as much as they can. Please remember that they are all volunteers. They help on their own time and dime, aside from following the courses and developing their own online business.

As such, it would be unfair to promise anyone that they will receive personal help, although I know of several leaders that they sometimes do, but that is their personal choice and again, this is not 1 on 1 personal coaching.

NPC is a very complete course. Everything a beginner and even a more advanced Internet Marketer needs is explained in tutorial videos in great detail, it is only a matter of following the courses.

On the other hand, if there are challenges, the forum is a great tool to get help in overcoming these. Personally, I also use the forum to find solutions and tips to advance my business. I also help and escalate issues when I feel this is needed.

I joined NPC for one month and cancelled my membership. Why? As others pointed out: there is no real succcessful story. All the newbies will face the same question: show me the money! and quick! The pressure is enormous. True, NPC does have very good training and l learned a lot from the tutorials. I am not saying their business model is not doable, but it is just not right approach for me. For a beginner, NPC model probably requires too much initial investment and work. $67 membership fee, plus domain and hosting fee, plus autoresponder service fee, plus clickbank setup fee, plus outsoucing, plus addtional tools... all these expenses add together is not a small amount for a starter, especially one cannot see any real income in six months period. What I can say is: this is not the right approach for me because I cannot justify the $67 membership fee based on the reality only little chance to see real money in the next a few months.

I signed up but canceled out of it 2 months later.

I thought it was good and they certainly put a lot of effort into it, but they jacked up their price and now its overpriced imo.

They have every right to make as much money as they can, but I feel after the $49/month price point its not worth it because you really need to crank out sites that aren't easy to make and hope they sell in order to make that back every month, and how many will?
They say the sites make $500 to $1,500/month but I don't think that's realistic. And they have lots of training content, but the videos are looong and laborious to watch.

One thing that bothers me is that Alan and Adam talk about their success but never show screen shots of their sales.
Adam did a video where he goes into his ClickBank account and shows how to set it up, but you look into his account and the first day was like $18 or something, and the rest of the 2 weeks were $0.00. I was like dude pa-leeze!
Its strange to me that 2 guys who are so into video and visuals dont show their stats, since they know thats the first thing everyone wants to see.

Im not saying theyre not successful, im saying that I want to see more proof to keep me motivated.
Sorry but when their forum is scarce on success stories and there are many questions asking for them then you should show more stats and/or charge a lower price.
    my 2 cents

I just recently cancelled my NPC membership. It does provide a lot of useful information, but it really wasn't what I was looking for. I don't like the emphasis on creating your own product without testing the market first.

Doesn't it make sense to sell some affiliate products first, just to see if they convert? Before spending all that time/money on creating a product... it just seems backwards to me.
Just curious, but did you join to learn from those who know what they're doing, or did you join to hear them tell you what you wanted to hear?

    and

    bravo75

I don't think anyone is making any real money with this
Well, I have another question for you guys:

If you go to school, or university and get a diploma, is this diploma going to make you money?

Better yet, if you get your official license to work as a plumber or a carpenter, is this license going to make you money?

Most obviously not. It will train you to put you in a position where you can create the opportunities to make money. But the product itself, the training and the school itself will not make you any fast cash.

For NPC, it is much the same. It is not because NPC teaches you how it is done and gives you a virtual "Internet Marketer" degree that this piece of paper is going to make you money.

You will have to apply your new know-how with diligence to create opportunities for yourself, ultimately, thanks to your training, you will be able to make yourself an income.

Now, are people at NPC making money yet thanks to this training they receive?

Allow me to say a loud and resounding "YES". I am one of them and I can provide proof of this if you want me to.

I have to comment on this. I joined NPC and honestly when I signed up I didn't even realize that they had niche packs. I joined solely to see what their 21 day marketing plan was.

I think their training is awesome. I really wish I had found something like this when I was learning to build web sites. It's really the only thing I've seen that will walk someone who knows absolutely nothing about setting up a web site and internet marketing to creating a site that will work.

As for the support and "bugs," I don't visit the forums very often but when I do a lot of what I see is people having issues with things are just Web 101. Not that the videos don't cover it . . . because they do. It may have been something as simple as a file getting uploaded to the wrong folder and people not understanding that it really does make a difference. Or not knowing how to add a link to the page.

I remember one post from this one lady absolutely FLIPPING out about how the "program was broken" and claiming that she had all this experience with creating web sites . . . I'm sorry, but there is just NO WAY that was true. The stuff she was having problems with was just so basic.

The thing is NPC has a lot of people who have either never built a web site before or if they have, it was a simple HTML site. So they are learning how to develop a site on Wordpress, and yes, there is going to be a learning curve no matter how extensive the training is.

Actually, I see a lot of the same types of questions in the web design and programming forums on this site.

I develop web sites for a living and, believe it or not, there actually is a skill set involved. Don't expect to watch a video for an hour and know everything.

I am starting to doubt the effectiveness of their website structure. The index page is basically the squeeze page. The only way you can access the rest of the website is through scrolling to the bottom of the page where you will find sitemap|privacy policy| etc. only there will you be able to access the rest of the website.
If someone comes to your site, you either want them to buy or optin. That is the whole point. Start looking at the sites in the signatures of practically every person on this forum and tell me what you see.

As for search engine ranking, every single page on your entire site is only two clicks away from the index page via the sitemap. And if you watched the videos, you know the other method you are supposed use to reference the site.

I joined right before they release the NPP theme for Wordpress and I had already started creating my own theme when it came out and stuck with it. But I did notice that they paid attention to the issues that their novice web builders were having and made the theme and plugin package even more idiot proof.

As for the quality of the niche packs, the first one I used did have a lot of spelling errors; however, the book itself was awesome. It was something that I would have bought myself (sans typos of course) and considered it a good reference. Not only was the content good, but it was nicely formatted with a Table of Contents, headings, etc. And it wasn't triple spaced with a blank page after each chapter. Trust me, I've looked at a lot PLR and bought info products (several from this site) and see a lot of tricks people use to bump page count.

If you don't think that two niche packages with solid ebooks, articles for each, keyword research and a market summary is worth $67 a month, then please let me know where you are finding a better value . . . seriously. That doesn't even take into consideration all the training and webinars each month.

Personally, I think a lot of people in the program do it half heartedly. They slap up the site, don't rewrite the articles, don't rebrand the ebook, don't redo the graphics and just do a couple of steps of the marketing plan. I've looked at competing sites doing the niche packs, and 80% of them look EXACTLY the same.

Another 10% are flat out ugly. Just as an aside, if you're color blind, don't have a clue about color theory, or don't understand that if you use an image or graphic element in your theme that really the rest of your site should coordinate . . . PLEASE either pay someone to customize your theme or ask your daughter or wife if it looks right. Just because it's on the internet, it does not mean it has to be hideous.

That leaves about 10 percent that actually take the time to customize the ebook, article, and make the site look unique and attractive.

This isn't a "Make Thousands of Dollars with Google Overnight" program. It is a systematic program that teaches you how to develop and promote a successful niche site. It's going to take a lot of work, but it will be work in the right direction . . . not time wasted. If you don't want to put in the work, then no, this isn't the program for you.

I'd be grateful if someone (perhaps one of the 'Leaders' who have posted above) will kindly paste a link into a reply here, leading to the area of the NPC site that states how this is done. I can't find it. I want to see for myself that they are upfront and frank about cancellation.
This is the link I copied from my browser for the cancellation info:

              https://www.nicheprofitclassroom.com...ion&index=9#Q5

You will probably be able to access it without logging in.

So here is the image of the text on site:

I know from experience that the NPC owners are honorable business people and will refund you any funds debited from a credit card after cancel date. I have personally received refunds from them after a transaction error and I live in Switzerland.

All I am saying is that there are NO info products out there that you can't get for free on the internet. Also, I would like to see anyone without a product actually making any money with NPC
It is true. As always, it is a question of priorities and time. If you have the luxury of time to go hunting for all the information you need, you will eventually find all the answers. If you want a convenient place to learn, NPC is as good as it gets.

I know for a fact that professional SEO experts, computer science graduates and recognized IM experts have signed up for the courses at NPC, so there must be something there these people don't find elsewhere.

As for anyone making money without a product, consult Bernie Madoff. Either you have a product or a service that creates perceived value for the buyer or you are a con artist.

Personally, I have made some money promoting NPC itself (a product) so I can state that I am making money with NPC.

I also have written before that no skill will guarantee you make money from it unless you put it to use. You can graduate from the NPC courses and fail to make any money with your skills.

They sent me a please come back for a buck offer and mentioned something about a fast site builder or something. that was a drawback for me is it took a long time to set up the site rignt. does anybody know what the new builder is about? thanks

                        Wildcat,

Their claims of $250 - $1500 per month for the average person signing up for their site is not realistic. I worked my first site full time (50+ hours per week) for the first month and have achieved zero.
By my own admission, I have to make the same claim. I can even prove that I put in MORE hours and that I am RELENTLESSLY PUSHING, some weeks I will hit 6 times 10 to 12 hour days. I have been keeping up this tempo for 8 of the past 10 months now. (A break every now and then to keep my mental health and other things balanced)

I even HOUNDED Adam and Alen as one of their Niche Profit Leaders to tell me WHY, oh, WHY, WHY, WHY...the Baby Colic site I put so much money, time and effort into wasn't performing as would be expected.

I came back to them with this to our weekly Leaders meetings and both Adam and Alen did their analyzing of the site and every week I received an incredible number of tips to apply to either the articles SEO or the length (there were some changes at EzineArticles in the meantime, which needed article length corrections to be applied) or the meta tags and what have we more:

                        a) the sales page
                        b) the auto responder emails
                        c) the main header...

The site has been getting an average of 15 to 20 unique visits a day for about 3 months, then it started slowly declining, which it is still doing.

It has captured 99 opt-ins, 6 of which unsubscribed:

                        So far....only 1 sale...

The point here is the following:

                        1) I know WHY the site is not performing as would be expected
                        2) I know WHAT TO DO about it
                        3) I never expected to receive a "magic formula" for a free ride from NPC, I stopped believing the "hype" a long time ago
                        4) I am willing to take action to correct the issue
                        5) There is MASSIVE competition from people who have sites that have been published and are updated regularly with original content for much longer than mine on the same subject.
                        6) The Internet is evolving fast.

This means that know-how that was adequate a year ago will not be as efficient today.

The other point I want to make is:

                        1) Before I joined NPC my sites did not attract any traffic at all
                        2) I was wasting my time looking for the information that was available free
                        3) I was struggling to find a method that worked

Today, I have a workable blueprint from which I can start and improve upon, my sites are obviously attracting visitors.

As it has been written a number of times before: NPC offers incredible value for money when you want to start out, I know from experience, without formal training.

There is a large number of people training at NPC who DO have computer science degrees! They know a staggering amount of things about hardware and code and the languages these are written in, but they don't know about the marketing principles.

Two of the NPC leaders own sites that attract 1 million+ visitors each month...

This does not mean they are satisfied with the returns this is producing and they are learning at NPC...

So, when you take a swipe at the school with a discrediting statement like this:

I'm very frustrated because as I said in the beginning the content and site are excellent, they just don't seem to be generating profits for many of the members. Its like paying for a Harvard Education, going out and getting a job, putting in the hard work, and not getting a paycheck.

Ok, so maybe that was more than two cents, charge me a quarter.
I have to react to help you put things into perspective.

                        1) NPC does not charge the same fees as Harvard, there is NO comparison possible.
                        2) I have seen HUNDREDS of the sites that members have created and truly, I am not surprised most of them do not get expected results. That is not a critic of these people's efforts, but a realistic look at the websites.

Remembering these are efforts produced by people who are learning, I think back at my attempts baking my first cake. It was a truly sorry sight. You should see the "Tarte Tatin" or the plain "Apple Pie" I bake these days! Yup, I think these would EASILY sell!!

I have been in the exact same position you are describing, feeling the same feelings of frustration, to me, these are like unbearable torture.

Working and not getting results, wow, that is really painful, but these are things we know BEFORE signing up for training.

My son's friend is doing a formal training as "carrossier"... (coachbuilder) which is training both at school and "on the job" as an apprentice, for which they receive a legally determined stipend: $30 a MONTH!

My father, who would be 92 today, used to say it was "scandalous" these kids were required by law to receive any salary at all for the privilege of learning such a beautiful trade. (He was a perfectionist mechanic)

                        My conclusion can only be:

You had high expectations and hopes, these were dashed by the reality of results and this has caused deception.

The reason for this lies not with the school.

Finally, it is a known fact that even for Harvard graduates, there is no guarantee that their diploma is a ticket to success.

                            Wildcat,

I'm not going to play verbal volleyball with NPC's leaders who monitor this forum and try to shoot down anyone that has constructive criticism for the NPC team.
Where in my answer did you perceive I was trying to shoot you down? I would, as a rule, never attack anyone personally. Nor do I monitor this forum except for my own WSO that is currently being tweaked for better conversion.

I share in your bitter disappointment but also recognize by now it takes more than just setting up a niche site and watch the money come in.

                            It takes:

                            1) patience & persistence
                            2) good consistent content building
                            3) pro level keyword research
                            4) solid back-linking
                            5) avoiding short cuts
                            6) continually keeping up with new trends
                            7) creating true value for visitors
                            8) having access to expertise in the niche one is aiming for
                            9) a lot of hard work...

I still could go on for a while.

Another aspect playing here is the "hype" factor. You will not see me write that NPC has tried to mislead me with their claims because they did not.

Adam can prove that his methods work, they do for him. The sites he is managing in his virtual Internet estate are making him a good income and have been doing so for a number of years.

It is a fact that even in the "analog" world out there the 20/80 rule applies. For example:

20% of sales people generate 80% of sales and income, while 80% of sales people have to share the 20% of sales that are left.

                            or

20% of products generate 80% of income...

With IM it is even worse. 1% of active Internet Marketers generate 97% of all turnover. You should see some of the ClickBank stats. Hallucinating!

It is sometimes amazing what these people do to get to the point where they earn 7 figure incomes while they make it seem so easy.

My point is that if others can succeed, it is because they did what it takes to get to the point where success comes to them.

                            About my baby colic site:

It needs a second, a third and even a fourth 21 day blueprint to start measuring up to competing sites and so far I have not implemented this. The reason why my baby colic site is not making any money yet has nothing to do with NPC's claims or sales pitch hype.

I had to fail beyond the point where bitterness still factored in as an argument to come to terms with my pain of failing and look reality in the eye.

Even people like Tony Robbins, John Reese and Jeff Walker recognized that they had to reach the point where they were so sick and tired of failing that they decided to do what it takes to succeed.

Once you do this, you will notice that NPC's hype becomes irrelevant and a waste of time dwindling upon any further.

It is why I am now launching my first product and reaching out to other like minded people so I can find the means that will allow me to succeed in my ventures, while giving back as much as I possibly can.

You can always PM me to continue this off forum, who knows, we might teach each other a trick or two.

                            Theo

I could easily write another lengthy response to Theo's last post, but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I've stated mine, Theo has stated his (and has illustrated throughout this forum, he will always have the last word, so I'm not going to return fire, although it is very tempting).

You should draw your own conclusions, but keep in mind that I'm an "average joe" that came across NPC while searching for a way to make money online (mind you I was not searching for a get rich quick overnight scheme, I'm not that naive, and I have been working very hard and doing everything according to the NPC coaching / instruction). Theo is an NPC Forum Leader that has obviously worked very hard on his sites with some success.

                                  Good luck with your endeavors,
                                  Wildcat05

P.S. I will reiterate that I'm still a paying member of NPC and am learning a lot, it just isn't making me any money, and Theo is not the only person that knows how to work hard and put in sweat equity, I have done so as well, although not for the length of time he has, but certainly long enough to have seen some results as per Adam and Alen's sales pitch and coaching material. I have not quit on the system either, I'm about to launch a 3rd site this week, and have a VA working new materials for two more, taking me up to 5 total niche sites...but when #1 and #2 have yet to make a single sale after following the instructions to the letter, I wonder if these additional sites are not wasted efforts...only time will tell.
no worries. I guess I'm a little like you with NPC. Great training, but little to no results. Gets discouraging. I've been pumping out adsense sites, its a little more satisfying at the moment. Is that new site builder they've been touting active yet? I'm curious to see if that makes the installation of a site easier and faster. I too spent many hours on my first site only to see it do nothing. If I could pump them out, I would reconsider joining again, understanding it really is a numbers game, and i guess the idea is to eventually create your own product. I'm not quite there yet though, so the money I was putting out wasn't making sense to me. Good luck and keep us updated at least?

      brian,

does anybody know what the new builder is about?
The feed-back from members suggested that the learning curve needed to set up a blog was a hard climb for any newbie and that there was a real need to set up a tool that simplifies the whole process.

The new site builder will be available soon and basically it makes it possible to set up a website in less than a minute with the push of a button.

is it a pain to cancle the $1 trial?
It is always a pain when you break up any relationship...

But no, NPC will not fuss or make it impossible to cancel the subscription. They even will refund you your monthly fee if your ticket shows that you canceled on time but the credit card transaction has taken place anyway.

This organization is run by serious people who know that reputation is important enough to want it upheld as high as possible, as that is in their own best economic interest.

If you want to try it out with a $1 offer, you can safely go ahead, it is not a trick to lock you in.

          Brian,

Looked over your warrior signature links and I thought "wow", this one is following through!

Great candle making site! Did you know Alexa ranks this site in the 858 000 area? (That's the top 1 million performing websites according to traffic and bandwidth volume if I'm not mistaken)

Fantastic Guitar review cashtrap as well!

The builder will probably be released in January upcoming.

Don't know if the sitebuilder will be included in a $1 trial, I would suppose it will be. See you on the NPC forum?

thanks for the encourgement Theo. I wish I could say the sites are performing, but sadly they are not. The Candle site has 20 opt ins and the guitar site 0. To be honest, I haven't really promoted the guitar one, the candle one though I did the traffic plan to the letter and was a bit disappointed. I even got several email questions about stuff that I helped people on but nobody wants the ebook. I even dropped the price on it. Thats why I want the site builder so I can crank out a few of those sites. I dont really want to base my opinion on niche blueprint on the performance of one site only. I hope to be back over there soon.

I am a member of NPC, and I didn't strike rich yet

I began making some sales though, but only after I took a personal approach as far as packaging the sales page and the cover of each eBook. Also, a huge effort should be done as far as Web 2.0 traffic is concerned. It is not enough to rely on their traffic plan...

It seems like these guys are legit. The only thing that scares me is how many different versions are released and the fact that they keep showing the same Beta Fish site over and over and over...

The awesome thing is, I don't do a whole lot of niche marketing, but what I have done is applied what they teach there in regards to SEO and customer interaction to my own businesses and it works.

This is just to mention that the "Niche Profit Press Automator: Software for installing NPP automatically" has been online for 10 days now and in these last two days I set up 6 blogs with it.

Works like a charm! And literally, the blog is there in less than 2 minutes, completely set up and ready to go. Wish it had been there 10 months ago.

... if I look back through this thread and read from the beginning, a fair number of posts are from NPC Leaders, and a former NPC Leader even highlights the fact that anytime a "regular" person tries to provide any type of feedback, you guys jump in and attempt to discredit them pretty quickly. I think people that spend some time reading through this thread can draw their own conclusions and form their own opinions...

As a long time NPC member myself, I am in full agreement with everything that "Wildcat05" and others has posted in this whole thread about lack of performance from NPC in all aspects.

Don't bother to question or complain on the NPC forum or lodge a support ticket with the help desk for all the reasons that is mentioned here in this thread and elsewhere. You will first get excuses, then "it is just the way it is, we just have to wait", if you continue with your complain, then you will be discredited, if that doesn't help and you continue to complain then you will be ignored on the forum but will start to get some very nasty "private messages".

Go into NPC with your eyes open, learn what you can. See it as a learning tool but don't expect to make money from it. Know that every month they will promise some new and wonderful "something" that they will bring out to make everything so much better in the next month.

Study their marketing methods and see how they use it to get you in, to manipulate you while you are in and then what they do to keep you in for the next month and the next. Then after a while you will need to test everything against the one and only thing that counts, are you better of financially in the end and have any of the promises they made gave you the results.

Yeah, just want to emphasize that NPC do all to keep you a member foreveeeer. This means, if you leave, you will have NOTHING that matters ! What would be essential would be to have instructions on how to setup NPP. If I want to put their videos out on youtube I could just do a screen capture for G sake ! And with about 12 months paying am I not supposed to own instructions on how to use/setup NPP ? (their blog builder). I am really one sour, disappointed and angry current member since cancel period isnt over yet.

Monthly memberships are a 100% no no for me now. Only consider those that have a monthly membership limit of maybe 12 months, and then you are a lifetime member (or pay $4 for bandwidth cost after 12months ?). Nooo, we want to suck you desert dryyyyy.
I will also send an email to every new product I find interesting that I refuse joining even though product seems great because of a forever monthly payment plan.

The Basic knowledge of NPC I reached long time ago.

If they are really valuable I might buy from their aff links (not from NPC ofcourse). Hate monthly memberships and hope the trend goes down. Why not join me on that one...!

Too many nice guys in here.

    Wildcat,

If you want an autoblog builder on your own hosting, do an install of WPMU. Then all you have to do is redirect the domain, fill out two fields on the back end of Wordpress and you have a new site.
It's a Wordpress theme, a plugin and a couple of widgets to make adding your autoresponder easier. I don't mean to sound rude . . . but 12 months and you still need to follow the video? If it is so necessary, do a screen capture as you are setting one up or write down the instructions.

I've never used NPC hosting and never used their actual theme because I design my own. I have used the plugin to import content, but then I turn it off.

I think NPC is a great program, and as I've said before, I wish I would have found something similar when I was first getting into web development. I do think that the program is solid and they put out great products.

However, if there is one criticism I would make it would be that more emphasis could be put on doing the initial keyword research and look at the strength of competition for page one. If the top ten results are rock solid, it really doesn't matter if there are only a few thousand competing sites. #100 out of 10,000 still isn't going to get you anywhere.

The information and the tools are there, but it needs to be in the core lessons, not in the list of 500 plus videos. When it comes down to it, it is a numbers game and if you aren't targeting the right keywords and aren't getting traffic, it doesn't matter how much work you've put into setting up the site.

I do think differentiating your site helps you stand apart . . . but still it comes down to traffic. I've seen some hideous sites with crap content that make money.

I really want to defend theo/mahasya and the other so called leaders in the membership. They have been extremely helpful and with valuable responses. There is a guy in there who seems to be a very professional programmer who helps with different customisation requests. He can help with almost anything and he answers fast if you want something unique. Theo/mahasaya have answered me many times also, was great help. Still, I think NPC is mostly for learning. The theme is not ok for me, basic structure and all looks quite so,so. Too much techie configs, steals your time. Yeah, that is how I see it.

Yeah, well I am glad that I am using a builder that dont need instructions on how to use it.
Usually it is very easy with WP and thats the point I wanted to make, that NPP is not that simple compared to a deluxe installation, uploading a few plugins, widgets and themes...blabla....very easy......this is my experience, that it is a Huge difference. Not really difficult but time consuming and not something I put in my memory........moving files between two different folders before being able to upload it ! Unsmooth.

I don't know what you are even talking about. Are you talking about the html pages to import? Don't do it that way then if "copy" and "paste" is too much work. Or don't do it at all and risk screwing up the original files, it's your call. It's just supposed to make setting up all your admin and supporting pages easier.

I'm just baffled that you think it is somehow more difficult that a regular Wordpress theme.

Ok, we just dont seems to be on the same page Anyhow, I am referring to the videos where Adam is showing how to prepare the Wordpress files and the Niche Profit Press files. When you said it was as simple as installing WP I went inside and double checked the videos.

Well, I have become superfocused on how to build sites with minimum effort/steps and at the same time have a lot of flexibility. I get much better looking sites, with my 100% unique content using APL. I wanted to get out of the trap, building websites. Since WP is basically very easy to install and use, posting articles, inserting videos.....all kind of things....you might understand more what kind of "simple" I am looking for.

I mean this new NPP (not the Automated installer, the previous) is much easier than the old. I remember when I went into the forum to ask why my header had different colors on the upper corners. It meant that, if I changed the background color there is two small jpg pictures, very small that rounds off the headers arrow looking corners. I had to open paint, zoom in to edit those and upload ! lol

The new one sure is much easier than the old, but not easy enough for me. I want all techie stuff to become very much secondary. And, I dont want to be outside the website builder just because I dont want to stay a member forever. All I want to focus on is research, putting together content and marketing basically. Quite many months in the end period of my membership, I hardly logged in. I needed a break to continue later, too much other things going on. Monthly memberships is great for those making the money from it, but I will never more get into a monthly membership.....I mean, there could be different levels, if you been member for a year, you dont have to pay full for the training videos and website builder.....I mean there is no flexibility. Pay $4 each month for bandwidth is another alternative after 12 months. Pay full forever or loose ALL !
Man, I repeat too much.....time to stop

            myyoula,

I don't use their hosting as I already had my own. NPC is designed to break it down to the simplest steps for people. Their integrated hosting is supposed to make that part more user friendly, but unless someone was really afraid of setting up their own hosting, I would never recommend putting your sites on something that required a separate membership just as I would never recommend someone to tie their domain name and hosting together. NPC may be an all-in-one thing, but spend the extra $10 a month and get your own hosting.

Since the only thing I really use from their theme is the content importer, I didn't pay that much attention to the rest of it. You could just save a copy of the theme with the html pages already set, import them and edit them in Wordpress. But for me, editing them in Dreamweaver before I import them is a lot faster.

The reason those header corners didn't change is because they are all graphics. I do think that they could make it a lot easier for people if they extended the NPP theme to have different color scheme options like some Premium themes you see do.

I haven't looked at the theme in awhile so I don't even remember what the custom options are, but they could also set it so that people could upload their header directly into Wordpress and just copy the link into one of the theme options. They explain how and where to upload the files really well, but it seems like people really start stressing out when you start telling them to FTP something.

    Hello,

I had a member of my team test NPC for three months last year. He set up 4 niches and followed the 21 day traffic plan supplied.

The training videos are great for someone new to Internet marketing. Well made and detailed. In fact of the well over 40 similar products my team reviewed last year NPC was right up there as far as education Vs cost is concerned.

The PLR content isn't bad either with articles, an ebook, email series.

NPC does provide a structured approach to selling your own material or affiliate products which is valuable. They provide good tools and a system which many marketers outside of NPC use each day to make their fortunes.

Things like setting up your hosting, dealing with files, content creation, basic article marketing, keyword research, SEO, list building and basic sales are vital business skills and also where people really struggle on their own.

NPC is excellent education for someone starting out.

NPC is definitely not a secret weapon and in fact I'd recommend not purchasing NPC if you are desperate to make money in the short term (first 90 days). While it is a great learning resource it has some definite problems but as part of a long term business building approach it works - just our opinion of course.

Our results after 90 days with the niches we selected following the NPC system were not great, a handful of signups, several top 100 Google ranks but no first page. Most traffic was trickling in from articles.

Part of the problem we faced was competition from other NPC marketers with exactly the same keyword and traffic plan. While there is certainly room in the market for a large number of competitors we eventually had to out market fellow NPC students to turn a profit.

We did however make 3 out of the 4 NPC niche sites work and they have a combined average of just over $2,800 per month and seem fairly stable as far as traffic is concerned. These have been making this level of return for the last 15 weeks.

The fourth site I'm still deciding if we should push into that niche or drop it.

What we did to make these sites tick is a whole lot of information and doesn't fit into this thread but in a nutshell:

    - We did our own keyword research and found many high traffic keywords that the NPC tool regarded as poor but were clearly much easier to dominate with article marketing, back links, video marketing etc.
    - We used the PLR books provided as low cost entry products ($5 or less) and used other affiliate products as cross sells / upsells and throughout the email follow up. In other words the NPC products were not used to generate revenue but just as a marketing tool, we ultimately set up what NPC refer to as affiliate cash traps.
    - We ditched Clickbank as merchant / fulfillment instead using Rapid Action Profits and Paypal. This allowed us to easily provide 100% instant Paypal affiliate commissions to affiliates for our low cost entry products. This had a lot of website, blog and forum owners excited. We used them to market and build our list for us, we made no money upfront because they made all the profit but we took the much bigger backend sales.

Those are the biggest changes we made.

In other words it took a lot of marketing experience to get these sites making money fast.

If I was a newbie needing quick cash this isn't the route I'd take. There are easier and faster ways.

If I wanted to learn a solid Internet marketing approach and practice with the niches they provide buy it right now.

I say practice because in my opinion that's the best way to approach NPC. Build a few sites there and you'll have a great advantage when you find or develop a good product and want to cash in.

That's it from me. My opinion only so take it with a grain of salt.

My advice is to first ask yourself what you really want to achieve, what you want to learn. Ignore the hype in the sales pitch (true for any sales page) sit down and make a note about the investment required, how much time you have and make a logical decision.

As a marketer you learn to use emotion to sell your products and get people to skip the whole thinking part of the process. So makes sense, as a customer who knows about marketing, to put a filter on the emotion angle and just look at the facts.

I'd totally recommend NPC as basic training because it is pretty inexpensive, in fact the next employee I get might get to take it for a spin.

I have read some very constructive feed back lately.

Theo, before you come in and try to discredit everything I just said, I want to sincerely thank you for the support you provide in the forums. Like I said, you guys do a great job, I just wish that I (and the other commoners at NPC taking action and following the instructions) were having more success. Cheers.
    Hi Wildcat!

I can assure you it is most certainly NOT about discrediting you or anyone else for that matter. Opinions are what they are: a point of view from personal experience. Unfortunately, we make our opinions also based on our own perception of things and there it becomes hard to filter out our own way of seeing thing, which means the opinions we express do not necessarily reflect what is.

For myself, I must admit, for example, that I am a recovering absolute control freak. This did not really help in a learning environment like NPC. I posted earlier to a NPC member on the NPC forum that for us, the control freaks, a learning environment is not always easy.

Control freaks are the people who tell the flight instructor to jump out of the plane - at gunpoint no less, if you please - with a parachute halfway through the course, if not a whole lot earlier. They want to do it their way while absolutely convinced they will do better. (I plead guilty!)

The result is obvious: they crash the plane! (I crashed some 30 websites this way, until someone (I thank him) had the courage of pointing this out to me.) After having left my dignity and fierce pride at the door and making an honest self appraisal, I had to conclude my benefactor was quite right.

So you see, when you write:

I just wish that I (and the other commoners at NPC taking action and following the instructions) were having more success.
Then I must remind myself that I too, am just a "commoner" who is wishing he was having more success. (I translate "having more success" as: making some money for all the effort I was putting in.)

Now, don't misread me. I am not saying you are a control freak.

But I am, and this caused me to "tweak", "personalize", "adapt" and "improve" on the NPC model, while being ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that I was following instructions to the smallest detail.

It is now apparent to me that I was obviously not!!

    When I read this:

We did however make 3 out of the 4 NPC niche sites work and they have a combined average of just over $2,800 per month and seem fairly stable as far as traffic is concerned. These have been making this level of return for the last 15 weeks.
Then it is even more obvious to me that I have to seek the reasons why my NPC websites are not profitable yet in the way that I am applying the knowledge.

Having discovered the culprit (my own self-sabotaging attitude, to name things by their name) I decided it was time to give the flight instructor his fair chance, while getting a grip on the meddling control freak in me that was responsible for so much time and efforts wasted.

I stopped pointing the finger at everyone else and started looking at the three fingers that were pointing at me.

So I took a hard look at my babycolicstop site and put back everything exactly as NPC suggested to do. The result? The first sale in MONTHS came in. Just like that!

Visits have DOUBLED... (more embarrassment for me)

Naturally, I am not happy with my own counter productive attitude of late. Of course I am quite disappointed I did not make any money. But blame NPC? That would not be fair! Point the finger at NPC? That would be like hitting someone below the belt!

And that is my whole point. Many have shown over and over again that the NPC model works and makes money.

So I can moan all I want about NPC, but if I am not making money with the system, it is not their fault!!

Today, I also realize a terrible thing! All that time I was concentrating on systematically doubting the NPC model while trying to do it "my own way" and pretending to "follow the model and the instructions", I was in fact procrastinating and beating about the bush.

I just was NOT doing things the way they ought to be done if I wanted my sites to become profitable.

I would have been much better off to drop all the pretending and drop the endless antics and just get on with it. My sites would probably be profitable by now!

I do not blame myself either. There is no use in beating one's self up for any reason at all. But making the correct diagnosis as to WHY I was failing has come a long way to helping me find an solution to this problem.

    and when you write:

I want to sincerely thank you for the support you provide in the forums.
Then I must admit I am sincerely touched and I thank you for it. If it were not for the opportunity to help people who needed it, I would not have progressed as fast as I did, which is something I am grateful for as well.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also noticed some people asking questions about the Niche Profit Automator function, so I made this video to show what it does and how it works. Members can host up to 25 websites this way, with unlimited traffic and cPanel access.

    Hello Warriors,

What do you think about the latest version? (Niche Profit Classroom 3.0)

I think there’s a problem with the Niche Profit Press Automator today. I almost tried everything but I always got this error message: “Please correct the following information:
    - Invalid User Name or Password enterd for your FTP information.”

But last week, I have made it successfully. I have installed 3 domains using the Niche Profit Press Automator.

What do you think about this?

    All ideas are welcomed.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Thank you terrykent. That has been my experience exatly. I know that the system works but I have had a very difficult time technically. Although they are responsive on the forum it can be slow meaning sometimes it is not an instant response.

I need someone I can at least Skype chat with to iron out those last few details. I actually have my whole site in place and almost everything done (after months) for my first site and I am having the darndest time with my links.

It is easy if you know the technical aspects already but if you are new it is extremely difficult. This is one of the most difficult systems I have ever tried. I am considering cancelling or I have to hire a webmaster to do my sites for me even though I am familiar with WordPress and can build a simple site myself.

I thought about hiring someone to help me with those last few details but that made me mad because I am already supposedly paying for "coaching" with this membership.

I am not sure what I am going to do. I just paid for another month.

I am an NPC member for the past 1yr. I really like his teaching methods. They are very organized. I feel this is the best place for beginners. There are some advanced concepts as well.

I have not earned any money by using this system but the coaching is excellent. I am having a few Niche profit shortcut websites. It is not making that much money.

One thing i would like to point out is that the NPS websites are not making that much money as it is projected in the training. This is very misleading.

Niche Profit Classroom I'm sorry to say are an extremely untrustworthy organization. I don't plan to comment on the product because I have little experience of it. However I did find that when it came time for me to cancel membership they strung it out for months using a mixture of deceit and outright lies; of course they kept taking the membership fee for months while they strung out the cancellation process.
They know as well as we all know that credit card companies do not allow the owner of the card to cancel membership, therefore we all rely on the honesty and integrity of the company we are dealing with to cancel a membership when first requested and not place any obstacles between a request to cancel and the actual cancellation and stop taking payments immediately. NOT 4 MONTHS LATER.
I was only able to get my membership cancelled when I involved Amex Security and I have since sent a full report to the FBI Internet Fraud Division.
This is a company that lacks morals and you should think twice before dealing with them.

    Davmac40,

Did you ever attempt to cancel subscription through clickbank? You should not have had to go through NPC to cancel.

NPC is what I used when I first started internet marketing and I still use it today! It is a great program in many respects and Adam Short does a great job of breaking things down and helping you understand the most important things for starting your online business. Loads of videos, great keyword tool, good website builder and solid advice. The help desk is great and will help you with any questions, but they can take a couple days to respond at times.

I recommend NPC to anyone wanting to get a better understanding of IM basics and for anyone who is just starting out!
