Paleo niche forums that allow signitures.

Hey everyone, I am new to the forums and I am looking for a little help.

I have started trying to build a list in the Paleo Diet Niche.
I am looking for some forums I can start posting in that allow "Signatures".

I have heard several people say forum posting is a great way to drive free traffic to your site.

Obviously the forums don't have to be "Paleo" specific.
They could be in the health, or fitness realm as well.
I'm having problems finding some that allow signatures.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what your question has to do with Email Marketing.

That said, I wish you luck. So many forum owners are turning off signatures because there are too many people looking for forums that allow signatures so they can promote something, rather than joining a community and building a rep.

Why don't you simply use google to find the forums yourself and find out which ones do or do not allow signatures instead of wasting everyone's time in here.

PS - If I were in your space and that was part of my marketing strategy, do you think I would just hand over my list of sites I worked hard to find to you for free?

If that traffic is worth $ to you, why waste your time sigwhoring? Just buy an ad spot on the forums.

      Thanks for the help.

I'm sorry for taking the advice of several successful email marketers who say forum posting is a great way to drive free traffic to a squeeze page..

I did use google, and couldn't find any.

Sorry for thinking you guys were worth talking to =]

Wish I could help you. I don't know of any specific forums related to your niche. Don't get discouraged! Not everyone bites new people.

    Hey Justmichael

Forum marketing is a great way to generate traffic yes! You are following your audience and you will find that top producers utilize this method to generate leads. It's an evergreen strategy and you will even find people in this forum who spend their day answering people's questions because its a great way to generate highly targeted leads provided your signature has the right features and that you are providing value to the community.

If you cannot find an active and busy forum, (otherwise you are wasting your time), the best way to go about it is to enter the not so active and busy forums which you found on Google and ask within that community if they can refer you to more active and busier forums.

Given this is a free method it is tedious but great for people on a shoestring budget. If on the other hand you want to generate leads the faster way, you will want to look at getting banner ads as someone already suggested.

The problem isn't with forum marketing as a concept. The problem, as usual, is in the execution, which you fumbled badly.

      1. You posted a request for information unrelated to the topic of the forum section. This might have been better posted in the main forum, rather than one centered on email marketing.

      2. You asked people to hand over the lists of places they frequent, which they've researched, on a public forum.

      3. Copping a pissy attitude when you didn't get the immediate gratification you were looking for.

Here's a piece of advice you probably don't deserve...

Go to the main forum. Create a post asking how to find those forums, rather than asking for a list. You'll get much better answers.
