Need banner designed for banner advertising...

Hi,

For those who use/used banner advertising where do you design your banners? Is it freelancing sites or any specific services?

Also I already have very good idea for copywriting (have multiple salesletters that convert), but are there any specific tips for writing copy for the banners, or can give me links to articles/guides on how to do it?

    You can find someone that will create your banner on Fiverr.com easily and a copywriter here in the Warrior for Hire section.

      Yes, very good suggestions!

      Also, perhaps look into learning Photoshop yourself, watch some YouTube videos and teach yourself. Who knows- maybe you'll find it a useful skillset to pick up long term

    Banner Snack is a great banner generator, been using it for over 6 months now to create banners for my clients. In other cases Fiverr is a great solution too. If non of those, learn how to create a great looking banner by yourself using Photoshop, it's easy and you get your banners created in the fastest way :-)

      The thing with banner advertising is that some testing has shown that "ugly banners" convert better than beautiful banners.

      But this does depend on your niche of course.

      In the past, I've used Fiverr to have banners designed, but I've also done it myself using photoshop.

      On big tip: Try to make your banner "blend" into the website you are advertising on. People tend to have "banner blindness" when they realise there are ads, so if you can make it look similar to the website itself, you can get better results in some cases.

        Please excuse a contrarian observation, but in testing the banners I sometimes use, myself, on various websites, I've always found exactly the opposite: that the more contrasting the banner-color(s) is/are to the background/theme of the page, the more clicks I get on them.

        I've noticed that even with my signature-file images, in this forum. The forum pages are predominantly red and black on a white background (with a little bit of blue). Images in those colors attract the fewest clicks, for me. The yellow and green ones seem to attract far more.

        In general, if you really want people to notice something, I think making it as different as possible in color from its surroundings is well worth trying. (You certainly need to do this sparingly, though, if you don't want to make the whole page an overcolored, offputting mess!).

    Nowadays it is easy to find a graphics designer to design your banner by the help of freelancing market. One can find easily a freelancer. you should describe your expectation,then the freelancer will make as you want.

    Here's a fast and free way to see hundreds of banner ads that others are running which you can use as models for your own ads:
    1. Type your keyword into Google. For example, "insurance"
    2. In Google, go to "Images" instead of "Web"
    3. Under "Size" go to "Exactly...:
    4. Type in any standard banner ad size in pixels. Two good sizes to start with are 300 x 250 or 728 x 90.

    Now your Google results page will show you almost exclusively banner ads from around the web.
