interested in learning about squeeze pages...

a top 6 figure marketer and squeeze page expert who is

  • How to write a perfect hook that people who will sign up will also buy front end offer :-).
  • From my inquiries (being a solo ad provider and coach), you really need to considering drilling down comparisons to good examples and bad examples. 1 niche has different requirements to the next.

In most cases for the Internet Marketing / MMO niche, you'll want to explain why less is more. Show case studies and the importance of split testing. At a beginner level, their intentions will most likely to be "to get as many people as possible". So you'll need to break it down for them in a way, that they can understand and see why they need to it.

If it's going to help them to get more leads, and eventually more opportunities to promote their product / services in the back-end, they'll look up to you.
  • I would ask did you use squeeze pages to capture leads and make 6 figures?
If yes, What was your secret weapon with be succeed with squeeze pages.

    • Hi Matija, that's a great question. You're clearly interested in copywriting and, of course,
the answer would be dependent upon your niche, your traffic source and your product and
its price point. But I'll offer you a simpler answer, just to repay you for posting.

A 'perfect hook' is frequently written in a language which reflects the mindset of the prospect
and addresses the problem they want solved - so, first you must try to think of the question
which your product 'answers'. Although that's not enough. You also need to know the emotional
content of that question - what drives the prospect to look for an answer today?

But there is one other important consideration, which is often overlooked, and that is -
the prospect's objection. Why would someone arrive on your squeeze page, but not
submit their email or convert? What is the obstacle to their conversion and how can
      you take it away?

Often, when marketers create offers they focus on the why (why should someone convert),
because they believe their offer is great and anyone would want it, but they forget to look
at it another way and ask themselves why not?

Hey ShaolinSteve, thanks for your input. I don't see a question there, so I think you're
probably just trying to help out with some answers too. Thanks for that - I'm just trying
to get an idea of what people are interested in when they come to this topic fresh, but
it's good to get another perspective too.

Hi Carlos, thanks to you too. But I'm sorry to say there probably is no 'secret weapon'
      - other than creating the 'perfect hook', perhaps.

I'd love to read some more questions -
  • Wait...are you a 6 figure marketer and squeeze page expert? Cause that's who's supposed to be answering these questions. If so, where do I send my $1,000?

    • Hello Drew,

I'm just researching and used the idea of a 6 figure marketer as a hook:
I'm about to do an interview and thought it might be useful to see what
the Warriors needed to know - but since I am also a full time copywriter
with almost ten years experience writing online, I thought I'd offer some of
      my own insights as well.

      All the best.
  • Well i think that you will need to ask the following to your coach:

    1) Give 5-10 high Converting Headlines / Sub-headline about your niche (High converting i am considering more then 60% conversion)

    2) What is the best High Converting Theme of the Squeeze page.
    3) Where should be the image and Headline positioned in the Squeezepage in order to have very High Conversions.
    4) Where should be the CTA button positioned
    5) How to integrate your freebie image with the squeezepage (normally an ebook) color schemes, images, etc
    6) Split testing - What should be used to make the split testing:
    - Headlines
    - Images
    - CTA button position
    - etc...

This is just a warmup but you need to think about everything before you buy a 1 on 1 coaching... or else lots of things will be out of your training.

  • Anyone with half a brain can whip up a high converting squeeze page especially with all the tools on the market.

Don't ask them any questions about squeeze pages, ask them about traffic sources because that's what really matters when it comes to list building.

Also, without traffic, you can't split-test which ultimately tells you which pages convert best in your market.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • You have just been robbed!

    Boxers or briefs??

    • That's a good point and a good question, Mark, thanks. I agree, the correct traffic
source for an offer is probably one of the most important elements.

That's a rather limited point of view, Brent, if I may say so: In my experience, a
good consultant can save me hours, days, if not weeks of work. And potentially
make me profitable quicker. I'm not frightened of investment - and quite honestly,
I'd prefer to invest my money than my time as it will get me where I want to go
      quicker.
  • I wouldn't spend $1,000 to talk about Squeeze pages... Course, I wouldn't spend $1,000 to talk about any single marketing topic.

But, to keep with the flow of the thread, I do have a question that I have been wondering for some time now.

"Why, with all the information out there, do so few designers still not understand how to design a decent squeeze page?"

    • Hi Teravel, admittedly, I've simplified the details so I could ask one simple question here.

I like your question! And assuming there is some seriousness to it, I may be able to
provide the beginnings of an answer - I was a designer and art director for almost 20
years prior to focussing on copywriting.

If you do a quick sampling of the history of graphic design, you'll see that in the beginning
it was fine artists and illustrators who did the work. And whilst graphic design has
become a specialism all of its own over the years, the basic education of a designer
still has its roots in the arts rather than sales.

Squeeze pages are a direct marketing tool, and most designers don't have any knowledge
or understanding of direct marketing: in very general terms, they just want to make
something look good, rather than design something that may not look good but is
      effective.

Hey, this is AN answer, based on my experience, not necessarily THE answer for
      every case.
  • I get what you're sayin, Phil.

Perhaps I was to broad. I wasn't referring to the artist work behind the page. I was talking about the Web Designers poor coding skills.

If you visit your favoured search engine and look for "Squeeze Page Templates", most of what you find will have Headers, Footers, and even Sidebars filled with links. Obviously, these are something you want to avoid on a squeeze page, as the less choices the visitor has, the more likely they will take the action you want them to take.

Over the last year or so, I have found that very few CSS and PHP coders have even the most basic understanding of what a Squeeze page is, or what it's used for. After discussing, hiring, and firing a dozen or so "Web Designers", I decided to learn the basics of CSS and PHP myself.

Amazingly enough, it took less time and money to learn CSS and PHP than I spent with all those wanna-be web designers.
