First eBook Launch

I am preparing to launch my first eBook on the amazon kindle store. It is just short of 10,000 words so I think it is fairly substantive. The cover order was placed, and I just need to finalize some formatting. I have another book almost done.

What tips do you have for a newbie at this whole eBook thing? II'm hoping this new venture will eventually bring in a little bit of revenue, I am not expecting anything overnight but I hope I can make a go of it.Appreciate any insight.

    I would suggest that some of your first customers might be people you know. If you have a difficult time convincing people you know to buy the book, of course it might not be so easy to convince people you don't know. So hopefully you have a plan to run this past some people that you know and would be potential buyers.

    You can get in touch with your friends and the people you know and tell them about your eBook. Convince them to buy and also tell them to leave a review. This can be a good head start, if you can get some good reviews that will help to increase visibility and then it can take off from their.

    Use the first chapter as a giveaway report. spend some money on advertising to attract your chosen niche customers. set up a landing page to capture their details and send the free report out. Then sell the rest of the book through email marketing.

    That way you generate a list in your chosen niche that hopefully will continue to be your customers for years to come.
