        Okay.

Silly questions get silly answers. I'll give you a real answer.

This is actually one of my preferred business models. I'm going to give you a real-world example (as real-world as I care to expose in public).

        Offer Payout : $5.50
        My EPC: $0.59

One of the many offers I promote pays out at $5.50 per free join. Looking at the last 12 months, I note that my EPC (earnings per click) is 59 cents. In other words:

        1000 Offer Clicks = $590

I don't convert every offer so well. I convert some offers considerably better.

Currently, I use 9 platforms to shift traffic to blogs. (Used to use plenty more, but I've cut down for various reasons).

The aim I have for a new blog is this:

        - Develop a Business Plan
        - Grow Primary Free Traffic Platforms
        - Develop Website
        - Turn on the Traffic.

When I'm sending 1,000 uniques per day, I outsource:

        - Website Operation
        - Traffic Generation
        - Social Media Management

At this point: rinse, repeat. I do the same thing all over again.

        Some food for thought...

Let's say you only promote $5.50 offers.
Let's say, unlike me, you convert at a steady 20 cents per click.
Let's say you get 1 blog receiving 1,000 daily unique offer clicks.
Then, at that point, let's say you rinse, repeat.

Target for 1Million Per Year = $2740 per day

1 blog earns $200 per day.

        2740 / 200 = 14 Blogs.

Answer to your question: Do all of the above with 14 Blogs.

I do not think it is very possible to make 1 million dollars via health blog in one year. But then again I could be wrong. I myself am new to online marketing. I run an offline business and am trying to get it online via SEO and development.

It would be an awesome feat for you to achieve that. Much success!

Figure out how to provide a million dollars worth of
value to your readers. That's a serious answer.

Beyond that I can't advise you because I don't know
what you're doing. I don't know the subject of your blog.
I don't know your current skill level. I don't know your
capacity to learn and implement new strategies and
    techniques.

Based on your approach to the subject I think it will be
highly unlikely for you to reach that goal but I wish you
good fortune. (not luck... luck has nothing to do with it)

I hate to be a realist, but...

If you are coming to an IM forum asking this 45 days into the year, you probably have little to no chance of reaching your goal.

I won't say it can't be done...it's just very unlikely. It's not like you can get a magic WSO and *poof* make a million bucks. I think your odds at making 1 million dollars in 2015 are more likely to come from winning the lottery.

With all that said, don't quit trying...you may not hit a million, but the money you make this year is money didn't have last year.

    Semo,

Do you understand the problem that your thread presents?

I seriously doubt if there is one person in the whole Warrior Forum membership that is making, or has made, $1 million from a blog in one year starting from scratch.

You are asking for advice, tools and resources to do something that no one here has accomplished. That makes no sense - taking advice from people that have not been able to do what you're asking.

Yes, there are a few million dollar a year case studies here on the forum, but to make that much money from a blog starting from nothing, and in only a year, would take something really special that I don't think anyone here has done.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Go ahead and try . . . but you're not going to find what you want here.

It's completely possible to make $1M a year from an awesome idea, a great product, perfect execution and an outstanding work ethic. I think the real question here is-

If I have the idea, the product, the execution and the time to do it, would I really give it away?

Let's say I did though...you know what would happen? Three hundred people minimum would try it, saturate the market and ultimately run each other into the ground. Because a million divided 300 ways is about three grand per person...and most people here make more than that already.

So I'm doing you a favor by keeping my idea to myself...you can thank me later.

Three hundred people would do it? I doubt it. I doubt three people would do it. People are in love with the idea of getting rich but not with the type of stuff it takes to actually do it.

Here's a free million dollar idea I had last week. American fortune cookies. You could put any number of little quips inside. Anything but the "fortune" stuff in the Chinese cookies.

You could have cute riddles. You could have lines from famous novels. Famous lines from old movies. You could hire some smartass to come up with clever stuff. Maybe you could have goofy tweets.

You could also put in "fortunes" that offer a discount on the customer's next meal. You could put vacation travel discount vouchers. The possibilities are endless.

And you don't even have to go into the fortune cookie business. You could sub it all out to an existing company. All you'd need to do is come up with the content for the cookies. A lot or all of it you could probably get for free.

Your big challenge would be your first sale. Target a moderately popular restaurant chain with the idea. Once you got the first one the rest would fall into place easily. You could make your mark on the national business community and then write your own ticket from that point on as the Fortune Cookie genius.

See that. A real, viable idea that has a decent chance of success with some elbow grease. Free. Anyone can grab it.m Go ahead and do it. I dare you.

Hey semo2, I hate to be a downer but ask yourself this. Would you realistically say you want to start a brick and mortar business and make a million dollars in your first year? The truth of the matter is, just because a business is online it doesn't automatically mean you can throw out an income level and expect to reach it.

With that being said, I'm not going to say it's impossible but you should figure out the actual steps that you need to take to hit X amount of income.

In the case of blogging, there is certainly a LOT of potential to make more than that in a year, especially in a huge market like weight loss. SurvivalLife.com grosses more than a million dollars a MONTH: Forget 'Surviving' Find Out How One Blog Makes $1 MILLION Per Month

To build a large enough following to hit that income goal with your blog, you need to consistently crank out high quality posts.
See Neil Patel's advice on content marketing and blogging:
How Content Length Affects Rankings and Conversions
How Long Should Each Blog Post Be? A Data Driven Answer

The workload required to do this is *insane*.

Some advice I'll leave you with:
    1. Learn from someone who's already done it.
    2. Create high quality content consistently.
    3. Start outsourcing, there's NO WAY you can grow a site that big on your own (unless you're a cyborg ).
    4. Build an email list for your blog; this isn't an option, it's a must.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Build a list of 100,000 subscribers to your email list and promote a $997 weight loss product. Get around 1,000 sales and you're a millionaire!

On a serious note, it's quite complicated to make a million dollars. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Just do your best...that's all. If you can say truly that you worked your hardest, then that's awesome.

    If you earn $10k a year...great job.
    If you earn $100k a year...great job.
    If you earn $1M a year...great job.

To me, it's not all about the money. If I worked the hardest I could ever work and only earn $10k a year, I'll be happy. Just do your best and be happy with the results.

I completely understand the logic behind everyone saying that your goal is unrealistic but my advise to you is to stick to those big dreams that you currently have. Speaking from experience, big dreams such as yours are the most important tool any super successful person has.

Your goal can be reached, shoot for it. If you fall short this year, keep the same goal for next year and so on until you reach the goal. The key is to give it all you have.

I wish you all much success and happiness!

    Short answer, you can't.

Don't wanna discourage you, but to make this amount of money in 1 year, you need at least time management skills, which you don't have. Look at you, asking to make that amount in almost the 3rd month of the year, which left you with 9 months. Let alone the time to make a working business model.

        Well, 3500 / 3 weeks = ~$4500 / month.

This is about $54,000 / year (12 months)

        He wants $1,000,000

And yes, he can scale it.

    Yes,

Possible to become a Millionaire with a Blog, but a Blog is a long term investment, i think you can become a millionaire with a website or affiliate marketing like CB, CJ fast than a Blog, because with a Blog you need to build a Brand and write articles, SEO and there is a lot of competition in this Blogs, so i guess its easy to do it with affiliate marketing, Squeeze Page + Mailling list, Possible with a Blog but need some time because a Blog is a Long term investment.

But you didn't say, do you already have a Blog?

Do you Have experience with Affiliate marketing?

i will share with you a Case study
The case study is from 2006....last year someone posted (as an example of how 'it is possible to make money') the one million launch day John Reese had....in 2003.

If you have to go back 9-12 YEARS to find an example...doesn't that tell you how (un)likely it is you will go from 0 to one million in one year by asking others how to do it?

It can be done but many (most?) overnight successes are years in the making. Get a plan in place and do the work day after day after day.

First off I want to commend you for having a goal! Not many people are willing to really put themselves out there. Only because I want you to keep that fire and stay motivated I have to say that to make that blogging in one year is going to be extremely hard unless you work 24 hours a day and have a very large advertising budget - even then I don't think those types of results are typical. I'm a very successful blogger and I've been doing it for 5 years- but not even close to a million but then that's not my goal. I would say it would be much better if you said you would make 50K your first year then double it the second and then once you know the ropes who knows??! Blogging is very fulfilling but very hard. There are some great experts out there like Jon Morrow for example that offer programs for bloggers that want to be successful at it. If you're really that serious you need to be willing to fork out the dough to be taught by the best. I don't want to discourage you - just want you to be realistic. Cheers!

Create a membership website, you would need to drive traffic to your site and have a good reason for them to join. your not targeting everyone your targeting a very specific niche.

You charge your niche $100 per month and you only need 1000 members that would earn you $100,000 per month and 1.2M per year.

the key to your success lies in your memberships content, my suggestion is try to create something that you can put on auto pilot

If you can find a product that pays you $114.16 in commission and sell that product once every hour 24/7. You can make 1 million each year.

I personally think that your goal is way to big. I really think that you should start with this goal:

How can I earn my first sale online.
How can I earn my first $2,000 per month.

I recall ViperChill had a crack at turning over a million in a year. A real internet champ, and he found it WAY too tall a task.

It's a silly short term goal, but a motivating long term one.

Lots of video. Plenty of news releases. Daily self-promotion.

Stick your neck out all over the place. Contact the same news outlets over and over again. Get rejected. Come back for more. Eventually get some major media attention.

    Profit!

Instead of focus on making a million dollars how about create a goal of providing a ton of good content. If your blog has content a good amount of traffic coming in and its monetize right you will make money. Also if your providing good content and your readers trust you whatever products you recommend to them they will purchase.

      Your mindset is wrong.

You will stand little chance of making $1, nevermind anyting else, if money is your objective.

First and foremost get into the mindset of helping people, by providing a useful in-demand service; do that successfully, then the money will follow.

Will just add something else on the subject.

As most will know, I'm not fond of pipe-dreams. He says, Master of Understatement. I've always believed in the approach of "This is how I do it. It makes me money. If you do it, too, just like me, it should work for you, too." What I'm not, and this is a big not, is a fan of the CAPS MARKETER. You know who you are. Join this KILLER LIST and I'll Show You ONE SIMPLE TRICK to Earn - Wait for it! - ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Woo!

    So!

The parting piece of advice I'd like to leave anyone in this thread is this:

$1,000,000 a year is certainly possible from blogs.

    Unlikely, however, from one blog.

I might be able to do it - big might - but I don't honestly think I'd ever try. Why? Freaking fear! I hate the idea of putting all my eggs in one basket. Can you imagine something going wrong? Blammo. Goodbye one million buckaroos.

I'm old school, and I truly mean it. I remember - as I'm sure tons of you do - when blogs arrived. I remember arguing with a fairly notable internet celeb about them actually being a good thing, a potentially powerful thing. He wouldn't have it. And, of course, because it was HIM, few people - other than yours truly - decided to correct him.

He was wrong. I have to say, though, it's about the only thing I can remember him ever being wrong about.

    Point is... Old school.

A lot of newbies arrive and dedicate themselves to one blog. Throw their heart and freaking soul into the sucker. They add killer content (maybe not high-converting or clever marketing-wise, but still great info) but everything else they do is wrong (usually). And the biggest mistake is one blog.

    Where I come from...

You don't do one of anything.

To hell with that! You do this:

    1. Get it making money.
    2. Get someone to operate it.
    3. Do it again.
    4. And again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd again.
    5. And so forth.

If you truly want to make $1,000,000 a year from blogging, or a hell of a lot more, use the above approach. You'll have to fill in a lot of blanks (this isn't a spoonfeeding rambling) but use that freaking approach.

You only need to be earning $3K a day. Only. I know. It's not chicken feed. But when you get your system down, you'll soon see light at the end of the rabbit hole. Or is that tunnel? Whatever!

    Long story short...

    Lots of blogs.

    Tom

There are so many useless comments on this post. It's just baffling. The fact is first you gotta make $100 a week before you should ever post something like this. Everyone is just looking for the get rich quick scheme. The truth is there's no such thing. You put in hard work. Figure out a something that works and then scale up your traffic and increase your profits exponentially. It's simple but no easy.

Well, that's a bold goal, $1,000,000 a year would certainly be a dream come true, if you can achieve it.
However, it's probably gonna be a heck of a challenge, so my best guess is, if you want to get rich by the end of the year, you better come up with an amazingly awesome innovative idea, because there are already thousands of weight loss blogs out there, so competition is really high.

Sounds like you want to go the high ticket root. I would find a course or system that can achieve that number you're working for. Or (highly recommended) find yourself a mentor that can hold you accountable and support you on your journey for wealth.

You can achieve it if you really plan well.

First of all, you need to have monthly plan and further broken down into weekly and daily plan.

Someone has actually done it in 18 months from a simple blog, but in a different niche in 18 months. You can watch it here

Big goal! Probably won't find what you need in here... but I'd suggest you find a mentor who's already made it happen and do EVERYTHING they tell you to.

Other than that... do what most successful bloggers do - write great content, create great products, serve a specific set of people interested in what you offer.

Blogging is slow to grow unless you already have a lot of money to throw at. Sorry to burst your bubble bud...

    Good luck!

You can earn money form this field. But do you know how much your target? Of course it is possible. To make this huge amount of money, you have to do many works. You can make a prediction of your earning by researching previous years earning.

I think it is near to impossible. Break it down to smaller sections - make $100,000 first then scale it up from there!
