Blog Post Distribution Question

Hi Warriors,

I'm new to blogging and recently started a blog and now have got a few posts ready to get published. However I know that publishing on my blog isn't enough so I have to do distribution.

My initial plan is this:
Step 1: Publish on blog
Step 2: Share that post to my FB Fanpage, Reddit, Twitter, G+, Youtube and Pinterest. (which all have 0 content currently and 0 viewers)
Step 3: Social Bookmark all of these pages with SocialMarker.

Question 1: What do you guys think of this method? Please critic and give advice!

Question 2: If all my social media account is new, wouldn't sharing there be futile or will somehow people find their way to my social media pages?

Question 3: For seasoned bloggers, what are your most effective ways to distribute your content?

Look forward to all your guidance! I'm sure many people will benefit from your answers too!

    • Waiting for organic traffic is good but it could take very long time to wait. If you are not lazy and really want to get your content on fire, the best thing to do is submit them to social community sites. Here are the top 40 social communities for sharing your content and getting massive traffic to it. On that post you'll find strategies and tutorials on some of the sites.

Another thing you can do is to use content sharing networks like Outbrain.com, Atcontent.com etc to get traffic to your content. You can also find some of these sites on the page above.

  • First of all, if you're just starting out in a niche and opened new social media accounts, you're going to have to start to build a following -- as in start following people in your niche and who are looking for info on your niche. Secondly, social bookmarking sites like Reddit do work. Just post to the best ones. Thirdly, find some blogs and the most popular forum in your niche to post on.

  • you need to develop followers and fans.

put equal effort into developing your social
accounts and interaction as you do with content
creation and distribution, if not more.
  • I agree with benjamenjuan. You can build huge followings with social media and facebook and with facebook fan pages as well.A friend did that with the real estate niche in her state and blow up really well
