Hi in a nutshell I am bidding for this website on flippa with less than 2 hours to go. Should I buy it? Do you think its legit?

    That's a crapshoot. It could be generating $350 a month but they could be spending $700 a month to do so.

    No one can answer your question with any authority or confidence.

    1. Free Theme.
    2. Poor Design.
    3. Insufficient Traffic Data.
    4. Short Traffic Data (April 2015).
    5. Weak Content.
    6. I could go on,

    For $2.5K? I'd rather build it myself in 1 day, properly, and get it earning from stable traffic sources I trust.

    I'm short on time, but noticed your thread and figured I had the time to save some chap wasting their money.

    Some people churn these sites out (website flipping). They'll hurl junk traffic, burn some PPC (not making a profit), and sell for 7 to 10 times earnings once they hit over $300/ month.

    Note: I'm not saying I'm right. And I'm not saying the person selling is doing the above. Maybe it is a good deal. Personally, I would just want a lot more info before making a $2.5K decision on that site.

    I bought a similar web site and never made one penny. The answer is no. Flippa seems to have turned into a hang out for con men. Well, we guess that they do not sell used cars any more.

      Any site is going to have scammers. It is your job to invest your money wisely by performing thorough research.

      If you don't have the research skills required and don't know what to look for, can you really say it wasn't equally your fault for allowing that to happen?

      If you weren't a mechanic, you wouldn't go buy a car without having it checked out, right?

      Don't take one bad experience that was just as much your fault and then say an entire site isn't worth it. That's ridiculous.

    I didnt buy it. As tempting as it was, the seller wasnt sure for what keywords the site isvranking. Another red flag was that he installed GA only a month ago. Yet another red flag was that he is a new seller.

    Glad to hear it.

    You can grow an income site for 1/20 the price you would have paid for that site. Less, actually. I'd recommend scouring some of the resources you'll come across on WF, free areas and War Room, and building your own. That's what I do, build my own. If you need to spend money, direct it to outsourcing or PPC & PPV, although there are plenty of free traffic systems that'll get you earning over $350/ month, and very quickly; FB, YT, Twitter, etc.

      If website flippers are honest, and maybe this one is (I don't know), it's a really nice business model. Some people are better at running sites than they are setting them up and growing their income levels. When you know how to do it, you can basically farm out the tasks for peanuts, and then churn out "decent income sites" for a massive profit.

    15.94% bounce rate but 13 seconds per visit??? Uh yeah...
