Changes To WSO Posting Sequence - Some Clarification Please
The latest one seems rather odd & confusing and it concerns the steps one has to take to publish a WSO (or WSO Classified) thread. Perhaps the people behind the changes could offer some insight & clarification please?
1. As I understand it, now we are required to make the payment before the thread is even put into the approval process. Is that correct?
2. If the thread is not approved and the poster does not want to alter the copy, will they be eligible for a full refund?
3. As I understand it, the thread goes live as soon as a moderator has approved it. Is this correct?
If so, it is a really bad idea. Here are 3 reasons why...A vendor should be able to choose the time of their product launch according to when the majority of their audience are online and so that they can "grab" the first post for FAQ. Also, affiliates need to know when to start their email campaigns. Thirdly, vendors need to be ready for support questions. If the thread goes live in the middle of the night for them, this is far from ideal.
Maybe someone could jump on and explain why these changes have been made?
Thanks
Barry.
