  • I like this guys work, although he really doesn't have a lot for wordpress. Mostly for blogger. rayscreationindia dot com (no affiliation).

But it depends on what you are seeking and what you consider good. Are you wanting something business, fluffy, pretty in pink? That will dictate what direction you should go.
  • I have used a free themes from here:

They all seem good quality and I have had no problems with them.

  • I'm not really that impressed by any of the free wordpress themes that I've seen to be honest. The paid/premier ones can look really awesome, especially Flexx. My favourite freebie one that I've seen is actually one of the plainest. It's called ProSense and was created by Dosh Dosh and The Wrong Advices. Google it and you'll probably find it.

John Thornhill uses it in his PlanetSMSBlog. Although it was a little too plain for me, I've ammended this by creating a header image and footer image and changing the basic template. I dont think most people would look at it as the same template though.

  • i'm specifically looking for wp themes where you can
    maximize your adsense profits...

i currently use prosense because the adsense codes
are placed in good locations...but i want to cooler looking
    design...

    thanks

ps...the prosense is free by the way...there is a free version and paid version
from what i heard...just look it up on google for "prosense theme"

    • You can try my free themes (in my sig). They're specifically designed with Adsense niche blogs in mind. These themes and variations on them are what I use for most of my Adsense, eBay, Chitika and other niche sites. They're stripped down to the basics and easy to modify.

You really don't want a 'cooler' design for an Adsense blog. You want plain looking, uninteresting, themes so that the Adsense block can be the star of the show. Save the cool themes for flagship blogs or blogs where you're wanting to build relationships and your list.
