Kindle - Geoff Shaw's Kindling

I'm thinking of purchasing Geoff Shaw's Kindling, and am wondering if anyone here knows how recently it's been updated. Also, regarding the private facebook group for this program I've seen mentioned...is it fairly active?

Thanks for any info.

Thanks, but the link to that sub-forum didn't help me much with my questions, as the most recent mention I could find of Kindling was from July of 2015. Besides, apparently I can't start a thread there since I don't have 20 posts.

I searched this forum for related posts, but didn't find recent (2016) posts with the specific information I'm looking for.

So, I will see if anyone else responds.

If you mean the membership that can be bought at http://geoffshawmarketing.com...well, I would be very hesitant to buy a $137 membership from a site that looks like it was build in 1995 and had no contact info to ask pre-sales questions.

    That's just my opinion.

Maybe you can try sending an email to various email addresses like
    info@geoffshawmarketing.com
    sales@geoffshawmarketing.com
    contact@geoffshawmarketing.com
    support@geoffshawmarketing.com
    questions@geoffshawmarketing.com
    geoffshaw@geoffshawmarketing.com
    geoff.shaw@geoffshawmarketing.com
    gshaw@geoffshawmarketing.com
    g.shaw@geoffshawmarketing.com
    geoffshawmarketing@geoffshawmarketing.com
    gshawmarketing@geoffshawmarketing.com
    g.shawmarketing@geoffshawmarketing.com
    shawmarketing@geoffshawmarketing.com
    etc

to see if any of them bounce. Of those that don't bounce, you know it is a valid email address. If you don't get a response from any of those emails, then you can deduce (maybe) that it's not worth the money to do business with someone like that (as if not providing contact info before the sale wasn't enough...lol).

However, there is always one defense you have as a consumer...if you buy with funds from a credit card, you are covered and can do a chargeback (which a merchant rarely ever wins in a case where the customer claim the product is crap or outdated). When it comes to chargebacks, the merchant usually never wins and still has to pay a chargeback fee.

    Good luck.

Would be better to check out the comments in the WSO that ran for 3 years here

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...upport-19.html

The last page has a contact email for Geoff and you can try that. I don't know if he's updated it in the past year or not but that's how to find out.

Geoff Shaw is a marketer who knows Kindle and has been promoting Kindling for a number of years.

As with most investments, you need to ask yourself can I get back the money I put in...if you are serious about learning Kindle than the answer may be yes.

If you want to get a flavor of what Geoff teaches you may want to check out his courses on Udemy. I enrolled in two of them at a discount price and they were both worthwhile.

You may also want to check out the Warrior Book Club, here. I am a member and I recommend it highly!. The Warrior Book Club has lots of Kindle resources as well as a very active Kindle community.

Hey FayeAnne, I bought Kindling and it's a solid program.

The membership site is a bit cluttered but all the important and related sections are lumped together so it's easy enough to find.

There's a much stronger emphasis on publishing fiction, though (not that this is bad).

    Regards,
    Daniel

Thanks so much for these helpful replies. I would have just added my thanks to the individual posts, but have figured out that I have to have 5 posts to do that.

Hi FayeAnne, I have purchased his course and I think it is brilliant and the FB group is very active and helpful. If you want to be successful with Kindle I would say go for it. Prior to Geoff's course I purchased quite a few other courses (actually through Warriorforum) but they were not helpful to me. Best Regards

You should also search for more recent FORUM REVIEWS (not review site reviews - most of these suffer from such a bad conflict of interest that they almost always promotional in nature and worthless to readers).

There are also Kindle author forums you can cross reference those reviews against.

Finally, check Twitter buzz regarding Kindling recently.

Crowdsourced truth is often the best source because you are able to get a 'majority view' regarding almost any issue.
