Getting Started PPC Help

Hey!
If you have 2 minutes to spare I could really do with some help please.
I have a medium where I can easily drive thousands of people to any site in an hour. I have tried and tested this myself with a landing page I created and gained 1000 emails in a weekend.

How would I go about selling PPC ads to companies? Is it a case of just emailing them? Are there services set up to advertise my services? It would be amazing if anyone could help

Thanks,

lmos

Tough to say without knowing about the traffic. I'm in the health and fitness market and 1,000 visitors that are interested in band equipment would be of no use to me.

How targeted is the traffic? How much does it cost you? Is this your method or are you reselling traffic?

      Hey,

Thank you very much. Its my own method so free for me to post. I get between 4-7k views per post. When posting a link it gets between 600-1000 clicks. The traffic is heavily targeted around travel, adventure, photography and outdoor life.

I hope thats what you are looking for.

      Thank you

If it were me, I would look into ways that I could keep that traffic in-house and profit from it. Meaning, I would research what the people viewing your post want and provide them with it. That is a longer term solution and involves more trial and error but I believe would ultimately create more profit and predictability.

Even the most loyal fans don't want solo ads and offers jammed down their throat all of the time. So, selling PPC you're limited as far as how many ads you can sell in any given time period.

If you go the PPC route, I'd set up a site that sold ads in that niche. Then promote it to sites within the niche.

Thanks very much. To let you know it's a large niche Instagram account. So are you suggesting possible sale of merchandise that the audience may like?

          Thanks

What are you posting that's getting 600-1000 clicks? That's the question. Can you turn whatever that page is into a lead capture then follow it up with information and products/services?

In my opinion, it's a waste to sell traffic to other sites because it's one of the harder things to consistently get. I would focus on capturing that traffic on your own site.

When advertising, telling followers to click a link in bio, we got between 600-1000 clicks on the link, then over a weekend we grew an email list of just under 1000 people. But weren't able to make much money from affiliate sales using that list... I guess it's a system that doesn't work so well anymore... is there a market for growing people's email lists? i.e $60 and we will promote your email list untill it grows to 1000 followers?

              Thanks very much

I'm sure you could sell that service to someone, but you just identified your own problem. You just said that we grew an email list to 1,000 subscribers over the weekend but we couldn't generate any sales. Who is going to pay for an email list that doesn't generate any sales?

The second problem you may have is sustainability. How many times can you send people to email opt-ins before they quick clicking the links when they're constantly being marketed to?

Me thinks, your problem lies in the speed at which you generated your list and promoted offer/s. You have to figure out what people want, build rapport, provide value, and then provide a solution that you've already convinced them that they need.

Ah thank you very much! I think I understand what you mean... promote a product and then sell them that product instead of trying to sell lots of products to them?

How about using Adsense on your site? If so, you can read Google's Adsense information here:

Travel is a broad niche. While it attracts a lot of traffic for you but audience retention will be hard to keep.

It works great if your subscribers are targeted to the products you are promoting.

Why did they opt-in? Did you offer a freebie?

I've said before, I would rather have a small group of people actively searching for what I'm selling, than thousands of "surfers."

Thanks. I understand what you are saying. We created a guide telling users how to grow their Instagram accounts... then tried to sell them products that would help them monetise their Instagram and photography in general.... I'm guessing that's where I went wrong? The product was related but not linked enough?

Thank you very much for your help

        Sounds like it.

Why do people follow your Instagram account? What do they get out of following you on Instagram?

Thank you. I have a number of Travel photography accounts. People who dream to travel the world enjoy seeing the photos and such, that's what I have gotten when I asked my follower

So, why did you "then tried to sell them products that would help them monetise their Instagram and photography in general"?

These people seem to be more interested in traveling and vacationing than monetizing their Instagram and photography in general, wouldn't you agree?

Yeah I completely understand. The thinking behind it was that we could promote the list onto a number of different niche accounts as everyone wants to grow their Instagram account.

Selling vacation and travel products didn't seem like a good route to go down.

i would really recommend you start looking at the ppc forum.

    1) have a test budget of $400 dollars.

    2) test and track every darn thing.

    3) its about keywords, and + modifiers, that can make you huge money and get better CTR's

    4) test, and test and then when your ass is sore from sitting and testing, test some more. LOL

this is the easiest way to kill it with PPC, on bing or google. [google may require more testing budget but]

plus advertise all that, and you will get guarentees sign ups, i am sure.

I would suggest building some sort of relationship with then whereby they get to know you better and start to trust you better. Then you can monetize them with affiliate sales, CPA etc . And when your email list grows big enough, you can think of solo ad selling.

Ah right thank you I understand. Growing a relationship will result in more sales.

Would I not just be able to post solo ads into the URL of the page and drive traffic to them? Wouldn't this skip out all of the middle section
