The majority of porn websites earn 5 to 10 times less money in 2016 than in 2006. Small erotic websites are struggling to earn over a few thousand dollars per year.

However, there is a sector in the adult industry that still works well: the erotic webcams.

Porn sites are not profitable now a days, You have to spend a lot of money to build a good site and then you can't earn enough. Because already there are many strong sites are available on google. So this is better to leave this idea and think about something new, That really helps others and a good legal business.

If you knew SEO tricks back then (cloaking, hidden text, keyword mispellings, satellite sites linking back to your main domain, link shares, keyword densities as high as 6%, long tail keywords...it used to be so easy to rank. SEO was the closely guarded secret at the time. Google wasn't such a monopoly back then - there was also Yahoo, Altavista, Excite, Northern Lights, Google, Overture, Open Directory Project, MSN Search and I'm sure that I'm forgetting a couple.
