This forum has been around for many years and just wondering how much do the people on this forum make on a monthly basics?

Mine about US$10k to US$25k per month... what's yours?
#main internet marketing discussion forum #make #online
  • That's a lot!

Hmm.. i'm not sure whether people would wanna share with others about their wealth.

As for me, let's just say that I almost barely make ends meet
  • Hey, didn't you ask this same question on the forum a few months ago?
  • I'm making about $3,500 monthly. It's not a lot, but it's a full-time income above the poverty line, which is better than many.
    • [1] reply
    • And that is AWESOME. You don't answer to anybody and you make a decent income. I think most newbies here would be happy with that.

      I'll get there soon!

      -Jon
  • Not willing to share it here...
    dangerous lol
  • 1) I don't think it's a proper question to ask.
    2) I don't think it's a proper question to ask

    • I don't think it is a bad question. Many people here put themself in the spotlight as mentors to tell others how to make money. It is only natural to want to know how much they and their students make.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • I agree and I fail to understand how is this going to help the warrior who posted this thread?

If you want motivation, you could perhaps consider taking a different approach.

      Sincerely,
      Jay B.
  • Before my company went down we were banking roughly £30k/mo and about 10% of that was my cut. Now I am earning a big fat 0 trying to set something new up.
  • I need to clear £2k/mo just to pay the bills, will be very happy when I reach that mark.
  • Banned
    [DELETED]
  • Well, that £30k was generated online and I don't live in the USA. Suggesting that you have to be in the USA to make a good living online is laughable. Blaming your location is a cop out, if you are not making money, this is not the cause.
    • [ 7 ] Thanks

    • I have been watching you and your progress so far. I believe you will get there. All the best man.

I can't say I am making so so amount of money per month just yet. I made $511 last month but it is still early to tell the exact figure.

That is absolute rubbish. It has bugger-all to do with where you live - that's the beauty of this racket. You could be sitting on a beach in Bali with your laptop and still make a very good quid from I.M.
As for the O.P.'s question - to ask that is way "gauche" and you won't get honest answers. Why do you ask anyway? Just to be noticed?
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • I agree with you Metronicity, gauche - and vulgar, rather like asking someone how much they have in their bank or savings account. This question can often prompt a rather rude answer... such as "p*ss off and mind your own business".

The thing is, as this is a forum for ideas about making money, I guess this nature of question will occur.

      Just my humble 2cents
  • My answer =

More than most not as much as some!

I live in a camper at the min.... I might go bankrupt according to the previos post haha what absolute **** sounds like someone is failing and has to blame it on someone or something

  • What about Ewen Chia and all the other singapore marketers let not forget the marketers from the UK Ozzie etc.
What youre sayng aint treu at all.
    • [1] reply
    • All I can say is that I am happy and contented with what I am earning. I just have enough and also have some savings from it. It is not merely on how much but how it is worth your hard work.
  • I am a UK citizen backpacking and my income has increased!!! if you dont live in the US you can still target them.

    Danny
  • Oh guys, you all are earning on "k", but I am getting only $$ per month,
I really wonder, How you all are getting "k" may be WSO, Isn't it?
  • Above $0 and below $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 ,000,000

    • 1. Why do you care?

      2. What does it matter? Will somebody else's income make any difference to
      your own?

I honestly don't understand these questions other than just to give people
a chance to brag...and anybody can say anything and it means nothing.

      How much do I make?

      Enough.
      • [ 3 ] Thanks
      • [2] replies
    • I agree.. That is a very large range.
did you go on holiday for 3 months or something when you made the 10k.

That a very in consistant figure in my book.

This is a stupid post ... dont even know why im contributing..

      BORING..
  • Psst, come a little closer. Not only will I tell you how much I make, I'll tell you how much I weigh.

A word of warning, though: I might exaggerate one of the figures and totally lie about the other.

    Cheers,

    • That's actually kinda scary that somebody put that much effort into that site....I really hope that's a joke!
  • Well then....What I don't understand is that it's as if some people are actually getting offended or something when you ask them how much they make!

Well I personally do not see anything wrong with stating how much I make on here, well unless I'm tied up to the mob or some crap like that...

So seriously, if you are soo offended by people asking you how much you make then do yourselves a favor and just do NOT post your negative comments on here then!

I mean, seriously , what's up with people getting all riled up about people asking them their income?

    First of all,
    1) it's not like I even know any of these folks personally and
    2) Even if I did know any of them personally, I would just get a life and move on to the next thread!! and simply NOT answer or get worked up by anyone's questions, whether irrelevant or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I hope that by publicly announcing this information I will get a gazillion clicks on the site in my sig file to find out how I achieve this princely sum.

P.S. If only you'd asked how much I make offline
  • 1. Your income is obviously not predicated on your spelling.

    2. You forgot to add "visit the sites in my sig."

    3. When is your WSO to show us all how to make about US$10k to US$25k per month?

    • Isn't this the classic marketing technique of being controverisal to get exposure. This is going to be a subject that will:

      1. Offend A LOT of people - they're p****d off and want to vent their anger
      2. Intrigue A Lot of people - they want to see what everyone else is earning
      3. Allow people to post bogus $$ claims - feel good factor
      4. Set of a round of replies that'll last years.

Very clever since it's working and I'm sure matey's getting a ton load of clicks on the old sig file.

I've got nothing against him personally, in fact I think it's pretty clever. However, I can't really see anything meaningful coming from this post except from learning not to post one like this if you want to be liked in the Warrior Forum.

I agree with Steve, to suggest you make enough is as good as it's going to get
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Sheesh Elmer! It is obvious you make all your money on line by promoting Mr. Coffee and herbal tea.

Jay if I was you I'd get Elmer to wash the coffee pot and cup. But then again it's the accumulation of the caffeine residue that makes it taste so good, along about 30 days or so.

  • Well, here's the honest-to-goodness truth.

I could tell you I made $XX,XXX.XX per month. I could tell you I made it by doing step 1, step 2 and step 3. I could lay it all out exactly and completely. Guess what? Probably over 90% of the people reading my post STILL wouldn't make anything online! Why? Because a lot of people already have the knowledge to make money online... they just don't!

  • Well, I'm up to 7 figures per month now and the good news is that you can do it too. Simply send $5 to everyone on the list below, then cross of the first person on the list, move everyone else up one and put your name in the number 6 spot.

Now simply email 500,000 people the letter with all these names on it and Voila! In one month you will have $1,000,000.

  • I'm making anywhere from $1k to $8k each month. It really varies because of what I do.

I really hope to ramp things up to $1k per day.. That will be tough, but I KNOW I can reach it.
  • The question itself is not very important... but when you are discussing about it that great faith and confidence in the industry...

Some newbie or Affiliate marketer who are struggling to make money online may gain in confidence: if these guys can make 10k to 25k/mo maybe i can reach my goal of making $500 a month

    • The only thing that I can tell you is that I make $900 per sale. So, If I make 10 sales this month, I make $9000. If I make 20 sales, That;s $18,000.
    • I agree , im looking to make $ 500 a month , that is always my goal and then make a little more , why stop at $ 500 .
    • Everyone has to start somewhere.

The first Dollar is the toughest! Once you figure out how to make $1.........DUPLICATE IT a Million Times!!!

: This is NOT true & I'm sure that if I wasn't saying
here that this is NOT true, a few people would've definitely
    swallowed this claim...

Seriously, these questions are useless. There is no point in asking or
answering them because they will not produce anything useful...

So why even bother starting a thread like this? (I really
    don't get it)

No one will ever know the exact earnings of any other marketer.

EDIT: Oh and I forgot to add this. Usually threads like these will cause more
harm than good... Some answers can very "misleading" & a newbie can
definitely get the wrong idea on "internet marketing". (I hope that you
    understand what I mean)
  • Id rather keep mine to myself thanks i dont feel comfortable giving that infomation away freely

  • I do between 5k - 7k per month. Aug. was my best month all year close to 7500.
I sell only tangible items. Health niche.

I have one large website / with attached blog. After reading the post on "posting on ezine or my site first" I took the advice of THERichJerksNet and a few others. Guess what? Works just like they said it would. I can easily outrank ezine and the others with articles on my own domain blog. Love it. But anyway.....

I give my customers multiply outlets to use to purchase products. I still think many are not so found of giving up their C.C info to websites just yet. Maybe it's the older crowed I target that has that mindset.

I allow customers to buy through my affiliate link , Postal / bank money orders, Checks but my secret weapon of choice to close the deal is a phone number listed on every page where customers can call in and order.

The beauty of having a number for customers is "UPSELLING" .

My product sell for 45.00 bucks but i haven't seen a sale that low in months. Normal sales numbers for me .. 114.00,141.00, 94.00, 228.00 ect.

My Canadian sales are the best because of product not being able to be purchase
locale there. I had 2 great sale just this week from toronto, 488.00 and 285.00.

Mind you I receive 35% of all sales so i do very well.

Yes there is money to be made in this business...Choice product wisely. Give multitude of way to pay. Your income will increase.

Sorry, I think i ran off on a tangent with this post.....It's early for me as I work the night shift...love midnight IMing.

  • Maybe I'm missing something here but how on earth would people even know where you live (unless you're telling them)? If you do tell them then it still shouldn't be a problem as long as you come across as reputable and trustworthy. I live outside the US and I make six figures a year, and I'd say 80%+ of my sales are to the US. Thinking your location is the problem is just making excuses.

You're seriously saying that anyone outside the US cant make decent money online ?? ??

There are a STACK of people out of the US that make a ton of cash ... Many I know here in the UK so there must be a load in other countries

If you keep going you will eventually see results, dont make excuses as to why you cant just do it

  • Not sure that's good info to put out there

  • Whilst I am bewildered as to why this post was written and why people felt the need to talk about their income, I feel I have to pull you up here.

You do not have to be in the US to make a full time, decent, living online. The internet allows for truly globalised industry, irrespective of location. I have had clients in Asia, the US and the UK.

Don't give up. You can make a great living online if you are committed.

  • You make money online? Great, what about the reason we make money? Our goals or life purpose, does that have value?

If you are tied to your computer 14 hours a day 365 days a year, is it worth it?

I am traveling 3 months this year before my wife and I start a family. I could make twice as much money, but whats the point?? The fact that we dont have to report to a boss to take time off and can do it (YOUR TIME) is worth as much as money to me personally.

Money is important, but it is not all about money only!!!

Ebay reported a profit of hundreds of million I believe for their UK division last year alone (just one of many non US divisions).
Think you need to stop blaming your location and look at your mindset otherwise you'll struggle even if you move to your nevada of the US!

  • ok Ive seen many in this thread refer to needing or having to be in the US to make money online I do live in the US btw) but I really dont see HOW your location is relevant at all. its the internet why does it or should it matter where you live. I mean if I put up a website the service I choose might have serves in another part of the world so technically I or the revenue generating site would be outside the US. just my $.02. Is there any validity to those assertions at all about needing to be in the US ?
  • OMGosh... what difference does it make? Here, let me just tell you...I'm so excited about all the money flying in on wings every day, that I pile up the Gold coins in piles and they are are now 3 feet tall, and go all around the great room which is 20x24 feet, all the checks are so cool with some of my favorite cartoon characters that that I have decorated the grand babies play room with them, except the Betty Boop ones, those go in the guest room which is all betty boop from sheets, comforter, curtains, knickknacks, coffee mugs, wall hangings etc. Oh,except the check from one man from Mexico who's name is pronounced (Hay- soos), but spelled (J-E-S-U-S), and I carry that one around in my wallet so I can brag that I am so successful, that even Jesus sends me checks! The cash I have sorted by denominations and keep each denomination in a different room in the house! I use all the change to steal my hubby's jelly beans from the jellybean machine he got for christmas! I didn't get one!
You get the drift, right? Wanna ask me how old I am, how much I weigh?

  • Instead of saying this, you could say that if you have no English language skills, you'll have a hard time making money online.

I can understand people from outside the US having a harder time making money than people from the US - you're not familiar with the culture, the language, etc. Fortunately for me, I lived in the US for some time, and have some family there, so I'm familiar with the culture, the language, and the way they communicate and do business over there.

    • It is naive to say someone is lying. Look at there business system for a better idea.
    • No sugar coating... You are wrong. I have done business offshore before and you can get a sterling or dollar account in pretty much any country. This will allow you to pay the money in dollars or pounds and then do a transfer to your local currency account at the standard rate of transfer. There is also many affiliate offers in european countries like denmark, sweden, germany etc... If you are living in the third world (where are you from?) then the value of dollars and pounds will more than make up for any transfer fees. In many countries the average wage is like $5/day.

To get started online you need $10 to register a domain, thats it. If you are really broke you can use free hosting. If you are not making money it is because you lack either sufficient skill, knowledge or motivation (perhaps all 3?). Until you stop looking for excuses and reasons why it is not your fault, you won't be able to identify the real areas that are holding you back.

Accept that your destiny is in your own control and hold yourself accountable You will then start to see progress.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Hey All,
I really don't understand why these type of questions get under the skin for some warriors...

I read plenty of " What to tell family and friends what I do for a living" type questions.

    Answers I've read --
    1. Just smile as you ride pass in that new car.
    2. Check out my new home and I don't even leave the house to make money.
    3. Check out these check i get daily from all over the world
    4. I travel the world while making money ect...

Is this not basically telling people your making a decent income?

What is the big deal with the original op's posting??

These questions are asked over and over again and they will continue. I'm my opinion a forum is redundant by nature.

I think the people that find the time and need to bash or better words state what an improper question it is. Is just waste of space.

BUT... I do get a kick out of warriors getting called out by others with their signature links. Always a good laugh there.. Not gonna answer that qeston but hey.. check my link on "how to make that millions your're after"

I have not been here long but is this one reason why it's going to a paid forum?

Not trying to start something here. Just trying to understand why some post get decent answers that are helpful and other don't with basically the same question just worded differently.

Not sure about in the US but to ask someone's income in the UK is the same as insulting someones partner or mother.
Secondly this question gets asked here all the time and really what does it help the person asking the question if others are making $1 per year or $100,000 per day?

  • I'm only at $100 a month. Depressing sounding, but 2 months ago it was more like $10 a month.

    At least it's growing

Honesty will probably come back to haunt me
  • Probably not the best question to ask.

It just ain't the classy thing to do. :-)

Also, I would render to guess since all of us are on the WF we make just enough to pay the monthly Internet fees to keep the Internet turned on at the house. :-)
  • $6000 a month

I have no problem sharing this with everyone. It's good motivation for the newbies and those who are struggling
  • That's fantastic for ya luv. In Anglo-Australian culture, it's exceedingly rude to enquire as to the income of a person. In plain Australian English, it's bloody rude to ask someone how much they make. It's not the done thing.

I once lived with a Malaysian Chinese man, and apart from the fact that his family thought we were "together" (er, he was my housemate) I would accompany him to family gatherings, and I would always be asked quite bluntly (well, I thought it was blunt/rude/gauche/all the other similies/adjectives you can think of) how much money I made the previous week, the previous month etc etc etc. (Crikies, I'm a temp, and I deal with CFS, so my income varies :rolleyes

I dunno about this obsession or need to know within certain cultures with how much money people make.

And, for those people who have been effective in actioning their own business-plans and have been generating the cash-flow and profits (I didn't say income, as income and profits are quite different amounts! ) this is a genuine "good for you" and it is inspiring to read about people's successes.

As for me, I haven't made any money as yet.

    • Actually, its also rude in polite Asian societies to ask how much someone earns. Your housemate's family probably really thought you guys were together for them to be bold enough to ask point-blank (the rules are different for "family").

  • I'd say FifthDemension5 needs to work on his attitude a bit. Doesn't matter where you live. Market research > Traffic > Conversion > Product. Find out the problem, find out if people will pay for a solution, then provide it.Take Big Mike. He found his problem and people willing to buy the solution. It is all about attitude first.
  • Your "thumbs up" avatar is totally badass... did you find that on iStock?

  • Making money online is extremely easy. It was even easier 5-10 years ago. Where else can the common man/woman have so much exposure to so many different markets at any one time and carry forth a message/service/advertisement?

Yes, it's a very BOLD statement, so excuse me for my brashness. But when I can act as the middleman for a service company, or produce adsense sites for myself, or have affiliates promoting my own products, you start to realize it's not about when will i make money, but what can i do to control how much?

Now, the hard part to making money online is maintaining a good ROI on new ideas/sites/other expenditures to build up a repeatable and oft-occuring income plan every month. That's where my challenge currently resides. Can I make money? Yes. Is it enough (to me)? No. What do i need to do to scale up my efforts and accomplish x,y,z..

    Therein lies the gold

I think for many people at the top tier of income producing, it's not about the money. I mean, it is, don't get me wrong, but i get more of a kick out of the actual numbers now and how to control ranges of variance than I did 10 years ago when i learned "cool! I just made a sale". If I can do $5,000 a day, how much more effort/expenses do i need to outlay to accomplish $10,000 a day. That's what I'm all about these days

  • I wonder if that kind of strategy really works...

    Probably, which makes me sad.

    • Um, could you please clarify some points here in your previous post??

What do you mean when you posted "that kind of strategy"?

Hell, I want to be making thousands of AUD a month thankyou very much!! But, I won't be so rude as to ask people outright "So, how much are ya makin' a week?"

And, who cares if you are sad about how people go about making their money?? Really, what's it to you? The only thing that people need to be worried about when making money is their Conscience. That's if they want to concern themselves with their Conscience. And, it's up to us how we live our lives.

  • I am not ready to Retire,
so my answer is Not Enough!
  • This is kinda a bogus question:
1)There is no way to verify any of this
2)This is also just an excuse to brag
    3) Finally, anybody that is making tons of money knows that at some point the money is secondary.

  • desmond11 you hit the nail right on the head. Ask a controversial question and let the fir fly.

By the way, I'm greedy. So what I make is never enough.

    • You hit the nail square on the head there.
      It's all about making bank.
  • Bogus question? What does that mean exactly? You don't like the question so it's considered bogus? Does this mean any question you don't agree with is bogus?

Excuse to brag? This forum is nothing but bragging at some level or another.

Your right there is no way to verify any answers. Really is there much on this forum that can be verified? I mean how do you feel about some of these threads stating to make 1000's per day / week. Have you verified these type threads?

Tons of money secondary? Hell I'll be the first to say BS. That would be my first and only importance at the present time. Money is what it's all about.

I dunno why this op's question rubs people the wrong way. Other then you're not making bank. Not making an income for some is the issue, not the op's question.

Those who answered with numbers are showing to those who are wanting to succeed that a decent income can be made.

Those who answer otherwise have not figured out the in and outs of this business. What is the logic answer for those... "none of your business type answer"

Hell it's not like we know each other personally ....so again it's a forum. Whats the big deal.

  • Asking this sort of question is like asking a guy about penis size. It's going to be heavily exagerated at about a 1.5/1 ratio at the very least.

But yes, I'm curious as to how much others make from their online ventures. Not for any other reason but to gain motivation. I really don't care if someone is making more then me, and my opinions about that person wouldn't change if they were (as when seinfeld showed kramer how much he was really making from his standup ;D).

    So that's my opinion.

If people don't want to share, they don't want to share. But if they do, just remember to take it with a grain of salt (or a truck full!).

    Cheers,

    -Aidan.
  • $7.82 Adsense last month. Thats net. Don't be Hatin!
  • Net or Gross?
  • I make $1/day from Google adsense
  • So Its rude to ask how much money you make in a forum thats basically about making money?

Best motivation i ever got was seeing a couple of people making the amount i want to make doing the same type of work i do online.
  • Pretty self promotional plug started in this thread. Is it 10 or is it 25K? Seems like just a few months ago the originator of the thread was claiming about 8K.

I guess the way to riches is to plug your supposed success so people will want to get on that mighty list and you can just plug away at the same old affiliate crap. Same emails same products same people. How many bottom feeders are there?
  • How does living outside of the US affect your ability to make money online. People use the same internet and you can't tell if a link is a US link or not, I don't understand this comment. That's the beauty of the internet isn't it?
