Keyword order question

INTERNET MARKETING

Okay, I'm sure this has probably been asked a thousand
times and answered as many but I can't seem to find a solid
answer one way or the other so I'm trying WF.

I'm targeting a new niche - let's say the term is "womens mountain bike"
(not really but just for this example).

Google tells me that the term searched for is "mountain bike womens".

Which term should I spend most of my time targeting "womens mountain bike" or
"mountain bike womens".

The first seems like what most people would type in but google tells me otherwise.

Once I get that figured out should I use "women's" or "womens"

Hi Zeke,

You say Google tells you which version of your keyword gets the most traffic.
Are you using the Adwords will only give you traffic volumes for keywords that
have been bid on. If you're using SEO, then you'll need to use other tools to
confirm your results. Never rely on one information source.

Assuming your results are confirmed, you could use stop words to help you.

To answer your question, it may be that searchers are looking for "mountain bike for womens", or something that is near to it.

Of cse, this kind of keyword is not a human reading sentence, my suggest is to go with the humans rather than the spider, though your traffic may drop, but your conversion will increase, because the title or content is for human to read.

By the way, I always use a keyword research tool to help me in finding out the search volume and everything related to SEO.

What I'm saying about that specific tool is that it's geared towards giving you the
results as though you was an Adwords advertiser. This is great if you are using
PPC, but SE search volumes are likely to be different (most likely higher).

People search for both phrases.

You should figure out why.

Example:
Person searches for "mountain bike".
Get too many results and refines to "mountain bike womens"

The term "womens mountain bike" could be part of the search
"get womens mountain bike" or "buy womens mountain bike" or "purchase womens mountain bike" .

In that case I would focus on the term "womens mountain bike" with the added "small" words.
