Yet Another EZA Question (YAEZAQ)

I know posting to your own site first before EZA is considered the better option, but if I were to post to EZA first.

Then I posted my article to my site, would I need to link back to EZA? Causing my backlink from EZA to be void because of the reciprocity.

Cheers,

-Aidan.

No, there's no reason to link back from your site to EZA. It's your content, so you can do what you want with it. Post it on your site and don't worry about EZA getting a link. They don't take ownership. You always keep that.

Cheers mate, you answered my question perfectl =].

Oh, but I meant to ask; Duplicate content, will this play an issue here?

      Cheers,

bit. This can help to make the second version rank
for a completely different keyword, from that on EZA

      Thanks mate.

How much do you reccomend should be altered? Around 30%? I've heard that's an acceptable number.

That being said, there are good reasons for article marketing. But most agree that you shouldn't just copy your website content to the article directories.

Instead I like to write my website article, then create a brief summary using writing tactics which will encourage the visitor to return to my own website via the bio for more reading. I think this makes the best use of article directories.

And no, there really isn't a reason to link back.

Yeah I've actually read that thread a while back. But it didn't really give me what I was looking for in individual responses, on the whole though.. if I'd kept at it, I probably would have came to the same answer you just gave me. I found it easier to just ask though =P.

        Thank you.

Yes, I have had very good results with 30% alteration,
especially changing the keyword/heading, to another
        related yet completely different one.

Alright yeah. That's some pretty good advice.
I'll do that with my next articles I'm having done.

          Cheers,

It's only considered duplicate content if you have the same article on your site twice. If you copy an article from EZA and post it on your site, make sure you include the original author's bio box with it to give them credit. If you don't include that link, then you're plagiarising.

AH okay, yeah I have actually heard that before but thanks for refreshing my memory.

Yeah I understand if it's someone elses work, I was just wondering about whether a link back is necesary with my own article.

      Cheers,
