Free Script You Can Use....

The "Million Dollar Page" got a lot of publicity a few years ago when a young man in the UK put together a webpage with "1 Million" pixels and sold each one for $1.

www.milliondollarhomepage.com

Well...as I was looking at this the other day I thought; Why couldn't one make a "Website Directory" where, instead of teeny-weeny boxes, why not make the boxes 1/2" or 1" or 2" square and make up a lattice to place Logos or Graphics in each box and make each box active with a Live Link to the website Logo owner....and make it a "Directory of Websites"....for a certain town, city or area?

Then I came across this Free Script; www.milliondollarscript.com

And, I discovered you could make the Pixels any size.

So...anyone here have any ideas on how to monetize this?

I have absolutely NO INTEREST or NO CONNECTION with this at all. I simply thought it might give someone an idea.

I created a custom built pixel script years ago and have about 1,000 or so of the sites running around from clients. My custom script had many many features built in that no other site had. Although those clients still run the sites, to me I think the pixel ad thing is dead pretty much...

    I could be wrong though....

I'm thinking that, instead of Pixels, use "Squares". Large "Squares" like 10 across and 10 down (100 Squares) on a home page of a "Town Directory", maybe. Where each colorful "Square" is a Link to an existing website or a website you create for a client.

This would look better (IMHO) than having Text Links.

It's the COLORS of all those boxes that hit me. And, this would be a better looking "Directory" site for a Town or Area (imho)
