Feedback on first FB ad campaign
After working in an agency for several years I've decided to go freelance with digital marketing. As the leap is still fairly daunting, I wanted to run my plans for my first Facebook ad campaign by you much more talented folk, in the hopes of gaining some feedback.
(Feel free to rip it to shreds):
In a nutshell, the plan is to:
Set up a Facebook business manager account for the first time to promote my digital marketing agency.
My plan is to use a Facebook lead ad targeted at small business who've expressed an interest in digital marketing. The lead ad would be a video of 5 marketing strategies for 2017 with the option to click through for a .pdf transcript of the video, complete with 5 additional tips.
I would put an end-board on the video pointing to my website and would do a small 2 sentence sell of the website within the .pdf at the end, but wouldn't feature my website in the text copy of the ad.
Does this sound like a good idea? Am I missing a trick and should I add my website into the ad copy as well? Or would that likely be overselling and break Facebook's T's & C's.
(particularly if there's anything here which may violate FB's T's & C's).
