Before actually asking directly, and to prevent "stepping on toes" so to speak, I wanted to verify that it would be appropriate/allowed and not viewed as "self promotion" first...

Would it be appropriate to ask for reviews on the appearance of my fiverr gig posting? Want to make sure it's as optimized/appealing as possible without appearing over the top but don't want to be accused of attempting to advertise/sell on here while circumventing the marketplace (which is NOT my intention at all)...

Please lmk as this seems to be a grey area.. thx!

    Asking for feedback is allowed, but you have to do it the right way.

    One way to do that is to ask specific questions, like

    > Is my offer clear?
    > Is it easy to read?
    > What would you change, and why?

    Just saying 'please look at my gig and tell me what you think" is a bit too vague for something IM related (which I'm guessing your gig is).

    Posting Fiverr links on this forum - for whatever reason - will probably result in a thread deleted. That's a result of so many here trying to slip in their Fiverr links.

        I agree. People need help with their online business so the #1 place to come is the Warrior Forum.

        But on the other hand, you have the people who post their review request and then never come back. You have the spammers/scammers with multiple accounts that you always have to watch out for.

        A couple possible options:

        1. All site review requests of any kind are posted here: https://www.warriorforum.com/wanted-...king-hire-you/ That use to cost $5 to post but not sure about now. That would cut down on the requests but would hurt those with no money to pay to post in that forum.

        2. Have a review subforum (I know - no more subforums).

        There was one before that was very popular - I even used it but then it was shut down most likely due to spam.

        This time do it differently. Delete all threads and replies every week or every 2 weeks.

        Or have a rule that a person can do one initial request and one follow-up request after they've made the suggested changes. Or something like that.

        If they post after their allotted requests, they are permanently banned.

        3. Eliminate all links of any kind for any reason until a person has 20 posts with thanks or something like that to make sure it's serious people posting the requests.
