[Confession] I Screwed up!!

Here's the deal.

I Screwed up ! .... BIG time.

A while ago I had my first successful product launch and I was OVER-THE-MOON ecstatic!
I'd created and launched a successful product and it was ACTUALLY MAKING MONEY!

I promised to help as many others as I could who hadn't started yet to get to where I was by sharing everything I learned and I had a pretty good following.

But I let them down!
I started listening to that evil little "Inner voice" that holds us all back
telling me: "Who Do you think you are? No one wants to hear what you have to say!" ...

...Even though I had valuable stuff to share.
"Self doubt" crept up on me and I just stopped posting.

I let my subscribers down and ruined the great relationship we had built.

Anyhoo.. The moral of this tale,.. The point of all this is,
you know what the difference is between successful Entrepreneurs and "normal" wannabee's who never get anywhere?
.....Successful people never give up !!

If you trip, stumble,fall or even fail.... DON'T give up !
It's never too late.
keep moving forward, keep trying,
get back up and keep moving towards you goal.


.... I'm now making up for time lost and the damage done!
I "Got back up", I faced those daemons, and admitted my failings.

A lot has happened since then....
I've added new strings to my "off line business". I'm now studying with one of the greats in online marketing: Jeff Walker, And I've Just completed TWO, video training courses.... which not only taught me some great video tactics,
but opened my eyes to a LOT of other cool "soul searchy" stuff like learning to be comfortable being myself for one!

I totally believe I am a better and wiser person from the experience And now I'm on track for a much bigger and better launch ! ..... Watch this space.


SO....... If you fall down or "Screw up" and you feel like giving up......... KEEP GOING!
treat it as a learning experience...... you'll come out the other end stronger and wiser !


If anyone else has examples of monumental "screw ups" or failures with a happy ending, maybe you could share them?.. As a moral boost for others to keep at it?

    Man, everybody including the most successful people in the history of the World have "screwed up" one time or another in this journey we're on. It's just a part of Life.

    So don't sweat it. Take solace in the fact that it develops character, humility, and wisdom

    Without people screwing up, no one would develop these all important traits

    I've heard "fail faster" because the faster you fail the faster you get to what works... Is a successful first launch just luck? I'm about to submit my firstproduct to clickbank for review very soon, just need to go over the sales page and do a few touch ups, I just got my product 100% done, then just got 2 bonuses I need to clean up a bit and then make my thankyou page and figure out how to deliver everything... Are you workingwith Jeff Walker in real life or just going through his programs? I know he has good advice for a successful launch but I only have 22 people on my list (don't know how they even found me i only have like 8 blog posts) but my plan is once my product isapproved, I'm just going to make blog posts all day everyday and hope for traffic from that and pray to God affiliates will sell my product. Did you use clickbank and did you get affiliates?

    While "fail fast" might sound good in theory, many people use it as an excuse to jump to the next shiny object. 'I'm not quitting before I know if it works or not, I'm just failing fast and moving on...'

    Make sure you know which is which.

      Good point John. In the correct context it would mean that a Person keeps going with their venture until they're successful.

        For example, someone who absolutely hates writing would fail at being a writer, even if they accumulate enough skill to generate responses/clients. Otherwise, you end up with a "crappy, 9-5 J.O.B". that you hate, even though you were the one who created it.

    That's fine, but not everyone will be successful at every path.

    You'll find people that "failed" at creating products doing well as affiliates, and vice versa.

    You'll find people that "failed" at working on their own stuff and do well as freelancers, and vice versa.

    When you recognize that one path to success isn't for you, it frees you up to take another.

    The trick is realizing when changing tracks is a positive move and when it's an excuse for not trying in the first place.
