Hey Warriors!

One of the biggest growing pains we've faced as a growing community of Internet Marketers is building a marketplace that's effective for both buyers and sellers (new and old) looking to make money online.

We've considered every possible element needed to be improved. From listing to design upgrades, the reality is that our marketplace is here to aid in facilitating traffic for sellers, and great offers for sellers.. and that's where it's stopped.

Today, we're taking things one level deeper. We're helping to bridge the digital divide that comes with online sales, and that comes down to one thing only -- trust.

We have amazing sellers in the marketplace and on the forum. Sellers who are passionate about helping people make money online, learn what they need to learn, practice what they preach, and establish long time commitments to helping each and every one of their valued customers.

These are the sellers that buyers want to have complete confidence in. That's why we've created the Verified Warrior Forum Member label specifically for WSO sellers. Through our verification process lead by 3 of our in-house specialists, we will begin verifying Sellers for honest trade and ethical internet marketing practices, starting this week. You'll notice the following badge applied to WSO's by sellers we trust:

To kick us off, we're pleased to announce our first 10 Verified Warrior Members:

James Brown
CB Elite (Murray Hughes)
Jeff Baxter
Jack Duncan
Sean Lowery
Chris Dolan
David McAlorum
Simeon Tuitt
shawnlebrun (Shawn Lebrun)

Congratulations to the first Verified Warrior Members, there's more to come and we'll update you as we continue verifying.

Cheers!

    • [Great post. Thank you for valuable information.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Does this cover everybody with a WSO? I ask as mine is 6 years old but is still current as I keep bumping it up.
How do you choose the badged people?

    Thanks.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks

    • People that we can verify as real.... we are focusing mainly in sellers to protect buyers at the moment Laurence
      • [ 2 ] Thanks

  • What are the criteria for getting a badge?

What if you'd like to post your 1st WSO, will not having a badge kill your sales because it's your first time and you haven't earned one yet?

    Thanks!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • I'm wondering the same thing. Shouldn't the criteria and the verification process be explained somewhere so that the badge has some meaning?

Also, if you are going to distinguish between "verified" Warriors and those who aren't verified, surely there must be some kind of request mechanism in place for Warriors who want to become verified. So where does someone sign up?

Additionally, shouldn't this verification extend to others that sell on the Warrior Forum? What about Warriors that sell through banner ads, classified ads or those that have offers in their sig files? If this program truly is about trust for the buyer, why should it be limited to WSOs?

I applaud your effort in doing this, but caution that the same treatment should be afforded all WF sellers for it to be fair and equally accessible by all members.

      Just my initial thoughts,

      Steve
      • [ 11 ] Thanks
  • Hey thanks for the distinction ! One thing tho... I don't see the badge? lol
Am I supposed to add it manually or something?
  • This is one of the best things to happen in here in a long time...names of people who really do make a difference. Can mods be added to the list or is it just accepted that they give as much as they can?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Hey Enfusia! We will be curating all new WSO's as they come through as well prior to posting, verifying members - if we can't verify, no badge.

Hey Laurence, new WSO's being posted are critical for us to verify, we generally have a manageable queue of them, and we are endeavouring to get through all WSO sellers. If you've recently bumped, I'd proooobably say that you'll be coming up soon to be verified by one of our moderators. It's just a matter of time.

Hi David, it's meant to appear on your WSO as we edit the post and manually add it in --- I'll have someone from our verification team message you.

Hi Steve, great recommendation on implementing a request form.

We're currently not going to support one just yet - the reason for this is we're focused on the process in place at the moment which is verifying new WSO's and their respective sellers as they are approved (reason being this is easy and we can vet them immediately), secondly, we're going through the list of ALL WSO Sellers, and everyone will be treated equally on this.

As I said in the post, we have no intentions of mapping out our verification process, reason being is that we don't want anyone to trick our processes and 100% we are certainly going to continue improving it.

I'll setup a request google form by the end of the month with our team, at the moment though - it would reveal a bit too much if we start asking questions on the form itself. I'll get back to you
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • As a member and someone who is actually on the verified list itself, this makes me feel good. Thanks for the acknowledgement and also encouragement to those on this forum who are just trying to do the right thing.

    God bless you guys.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Hey Gabriel,
I thank you for the reply and addressing my question.

I have to say that you and other admins and moderators are generally much faster to respond to questions, even if the question can't be answered as well as we are asked.
A huge thumbs up and thanks a lot. I certainly appreciate the positive changes.

    • Cheers mate

      we are trying
it's not easy to move such a huge vessel but we are trying.

      Thx for the positive vibe
  • Wow, thanks for this great honour & recognition.

I also think its fabulous idea to help recognize the various content producers here at the Warrior Forum.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Cheers guys! Thanks for the recognition!

Much appreciated. Buyers should definitely appreciate it.

    Jim
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • Nice, I didn't have to ask for it and yet the team went ahead and did it. Appreciated.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Kinda bias here but that's an awesome step towards restoring trust in the marketplace.

Now there's accountability on here, something the forum hasn't had before. Way to go!
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Sounds like a great idea. Any possibilities of integrating a review system? That would certainly provide more transparency.

I find as well however that the general quality of WF member posts have degraded significantly. You get plentiful post regurgitating the same content already mentioned just for the post count or link post. (inside the post response.)
    • [1] reply
    • Yes that is a challenge that it's extremely difficult to solve....
  • One of our biggest challenges to solve is this:

    - validating sellers who don't produce their own content

You're probably wondering why it's challenge, and for the most part it all comes down to the validity of the individual, it's 1000000x easier for us to verify that they're a true identity when they have their own content, that's why it's critical to us to see it on the Warrior Forum - and why members who have contributed to the forum outside of just the marketplace currently claim a larger portion of being "verified" at this stage.

The more transparent they make it for us, the easier it is for us to green light them as a verified member (plus, solves some basics for members shopping on the marketplace to do research on the validity of seller).

We currently have a review system in place for members using Warrior Payments. They're all payment verified reviews as well so that makes it super simple. Paulo, our Head of Engineering is working super hard on getting something out soon to alleviate this for sellers - so keep an open eye out over the next month. Paulo will do the announcement

For members that we've been able to verify so far - congrats!!!!

  • Congratulations to y'all!
  • great thanks
  • This sounds like good news. I will have to either bump up my existing WSO or add a new one so I can get the verified tag.
  • I think another thing that should eventually be talked about is a process to protect marketplace sellers, kind of how PayPal has its own buyer and seller protection. Even if a seller is being totally 100% ethical and following their sales page and other forum policies, all it takes is a disgruntled/entitled customer or customer to scream to a moderator "SCAM!" and either be forced into a refund or threatened by a mod. Have heard of this happening to several older sellers. I've seen people try to game the system as a buyer like this over the years. I feel that this is one of the reasons why many of the original sellers here slowly disappeared over time. Trust goes both ways and I feel that while this step is great for buyers, sellers are still missing the trust of the buyers' end. Perhaps extending this "verification" to all other aspects of the forum would be great and adding a feature to the WSO payment button where only verified Warriors can purchase a product would be helpful. This way, the fraudsters abusing sellers don't get away with that nonsense anymore. Just my opinion and some will disagree while others will see the value in what I am trying to say.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • This is now common place everywhere and with Paypal you do not have a leg to stand on. I recently had someone purchase a WSO from me at 13.00 hours, at 13.03 they had initiated a refund saying the system does not work.... no point appealing Paypal always goes with the customer.. Thats life sadly..
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [2] replies

    • Did you contact us?
    • Along with that the sellers should have the ability to blacklist serial refunders

at the moment with warrior payments there is very little a seller can do to manage the process, even resending a download link to someone who somehow did not get their products

Great to hear the forum is moving in the right direction for returning the integrity of the forum

      keep up the good work
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • What we really need on here and If you see my previous I try to do this myself is a review section, yes there is one but its not used. Type the WSO in and read the reviews... its a simple way of seeing whats good and whats bad...
  • Hi, I am new and looking forward to getting help from people. How can I started posting in Warrior forum ? Please help as I want to learn more. Thanks.

  • Can one of the mods tell me if I have made it onto the list as I haven't seen a new list for a while. I have been out of action as well, so I haven't been in to check.
That's what ingrown toenails on both big toes and surgical intervention does to you. Hard to walk, shower, and a lot of other things. But it will get better.

  • Hello,

I would like to have my profile for Tuned Hosting reviewed for verification, I am a WSO seller.

I would also like to change me username if possible to TUNEDCLOUD, as this better reflects our company.

Trust is such a delicate issue which needs to be handled with care.So thanks for this initiative.

Without trust in yourself and your sellers, you can never be truly certain that your relationship is authentic.
