I have no idea why this thread would be approved - the OP has 'read about' people who make millions. Nothing about who he is -what he's done - what training or skills he has to use online... just "want big money". Is he self supporting - does he have a job - are services like Paypal available in his country - does he have ideas and tools to use to succeed online....who knows? He doesn't say.

Don't be fooled by those "pie in the sky" products that claims you can make $10K per Month. Most of them are scams. The statistics claims that only 5% of Internet Marketers actually make it big. I am making 5 figures per month right now but it took me over 7 years of blood sweat and tears to reach where i am now. The people that I know that have done that well or close to that well have created and launched their own products. That is the #1 skill you can learn.

It's about how much value you can deliver to others.

Hard truth - you won't make $10k in your FIRST month.

Even though it's not likely you'll ever make 10k, it's possible. That's all that matters.

See there's a simple formula. It's been written about in this forum multiple times.

1. Choose a niche.
2. Narrow it down some more.
3. capture contact information.
4. Deliver value
5. Sell those people stuff.
6. Deliver more value.
7. Sell more stuff.
8. Repeat steps three to seven forever.

That's all there is to it. Don't try and reinvent the wheel. There's a reason we've been using the wheel - as is - for centuries.

Everyone is in the position to earn 10k a month, but the truth is putting in the work to make it happen is another story.

I love that you're ambitious about getting after some great success, but I've been working online for a while now and I can tell you that most people will not make 10k in their first month, but it is possible to build up to that income relatively quickly (compared to working a job), and by quickly I mean 6 months to a year.

If I was starting fresh knowing what I know now I would say to get started in a high ticket affiliate program, or learn a skill (or maybe you already have one) that you can leverage to close higher paying clients/customers.

The key thing to note here is that to earn 10k in a month you also have to be willing to invest some money.

That's the part a lot of marketers leave out of the equation.

To earn 10k a month, depending on the niche you choose to get into, it might take you 2-5k in investment a month. That investment goes into marketing costs (paid traffic), any staff you may hire, cost of learning (coaching or programs), etc.

But once you have your business dialed in you will be able to leverage it and scale up much faster as time goes by.

This is almost impossible to achieve for a small business owner. But well, anything is possible if you work hard to achieve it, coupled with luck and divine providence, but for a regular person, this is tough. The internet is a tough competition. That first month is impossible expect if you are a big brand of company.

The first thing is, WHY do you want to make $10000 in your first month? What is the point? Why on Earth do you need that figure? Why not $500 and build up?

Second thing is, how long do you think it took those people to reach $1m? Or even $10k?

Third, you're thinking with a get-rich-quick mindset, not a business mindset, and that'll get you nowhere quickly, not rich quickly.

Start with $20000 and invest half of it some IM education (mentoring)

Hire yourself a mentor, ideally one who's done what you want to do, and can show results

I don't know. I would bet very heavily against it. It wouldn't surprise me if the OP leaves - never to be heard of again. (As of today, OP has a total of two posts, both in this thread on Nov. 5th)

So I've got to ask the question: How valuable is this thread in teaching someone how to make $10K in one month?

IMO, it's not valuable at all and the reason it's not is because:

1. The question is unrealistic and not attainable for most everyone here.
2. Most everyone here posting their answers are only speculating - they haven't made $10K in one month ever.
3. Those posts urging the OP to "go for it", "focus and take massive action", and "if you believe your will succeed" sound great ... but give the OP no guidance or workable plan or roadmap.
4. Those posts claiming to be business models that say simply "sell $1,000 product 10 times" or "make 100 sales at $100" are not business models at all, and like #3 above, are no help whatsoever in actually knowing what to do or how to do it.
5. Trying to create a viable and profitable business based on an "exception" to the norm or a highly speculative "one in a million example of someone that got very lucky" is not prudent or smart at all.

Here's what you can take away from this thread . . . and it has nothing to do with how to make $10,000 your first month online:

1. You are unique and your business will be unique ... and what someone else does in his business has absolutely no bearing on what you can or will do in your business. Model another successful business? Sure. But don't set monetary goals for your business based on what others have done.

There are no limits to what you can earn online. But the first step is to set attainable goals like $500 and $1000 to start off with. Once you find the success just increase your action.

10k is very achievable, but you'll likely need a marketing budget. I wouldn't focus on one month though, but try to think of a long term strategy. The Three P's - Product, Process and Price.

Facebook groups and fan pages can make some serious money. You just need to find the right niche. In the past I have had pages making 5 - 15 thousand per month.
Think outside the box... not the typical weight loss or making money areas... tap into the Star Wars fans for an example.

NOW we had a target. We knew there were people who would spend the money, IF they were given a good reason why. That means a good PROMOTION, OR sales page.

In this case, we wanted to offer REAL opportunity, so no hype of making 100,000 from the kitchen table.

Everything was spelled out in the promotion. The business: cleaning headlights. The costs and even most of the how to. NOW, the thing left out, as it always is in every promotion for biz-op, was, the HOW TO GET CUSTOMERS.

This is what people pay for. The reason people spend 100,000 to a million on a franchise is because they come with a tested and proven marketing system for getting customers.

We had a TARGET of buyers. A list.
We then wrote a promotion. I did some trial balloon testing.

There was enough interest to warrant going ahead and creating the product. Backwards from the way most of you create a product then try to find someone to buy it, that works, but my 40 years of doing this says, finding BUYERS first is a faster and easier route.

It took us about 14 days to create the product, ONCE we had determined what the market wanted and would pay for. Then we sent the promotion to my "gold" list, and within about 4 hours we sold 100 copies and 103 the first day.

So, if you want to make 10,000 bux in a month, you are asking the wrong questions.

hi buddy, it's good you are taking action to start on internet marketing, but what do you want to start with if it's not a secret?

I say get to the point where you can leverage money instead of using your own time. In the beginning you can use time and energy, because you might lack money. Once you get even a little money you can use that in order to leverage the time/energy of other people to increase earnings. All you need is something that works. If the goal is to make $10,000 in the first month you probably need to be selling a high end service or product to a very targeted group. You need to know how to get access to that group.

I do not think that is possible to make 10k your first month if you start from scratch and without a big investment.

I have read on Business Insider a story about Amazon:

"In the early days of Amazon, a bell would ring in the office every time someone made a purchase, and everyone would gather around to see if they knew the customer."

If you want to build an online business that makes 10k per month, you need to be patient and a hard worker.

To make 10k per month, you NEED to pay for a traffic.... So probably need to invest $500 to make $10k

But I don't do that way anymore, I'm happy with my craigslist and email marketing, which brings me that 15k, almost on autopilot (email autopilot) , craigslist $200 per day,

$10k a month for a beginner? Not going to happen.

The people earning 1m online have been at it for a while, you're not just going to start and earn $10k your first month, try for a more realistic # like $10.00 or even $100 - then work your way up from there.

If ANYBODY would just magically make $10k a month right away, poverty would not exist...

What do you do online specifically? But before that, let me share my insight on things. While 10k a month in not impossible, there are a lot of things we should consider. What are you offering, products or services? I should be something that people will want. Always, it is a process. Reaching your desired goal will sometimes take time so be patient. I have seen a lot of people with great potentials but then stopped half way because they became impatient. Results take time. There is a limit to how far a man can walk alone, you can work with a team to realize greater goals. For now focus on what you have right now and perfect it. The rest will fall into pieces. If you are looking forward to huge amount to earn then you should have skills and you should be steady.

i hate to burst your bubble, many of the responses will sound so easy but they really not. you have to put in time and money. and most definitley a mentor which will cost alot of money.

How it's possible?

It is not possible to earn $10,000 in one month at your primary level. You have to learn more & more And hard work to earn this amount of money. It will be easy slowly. Thanks a lot.

Do you want to promote products, offer services, create and sell your own product?

In each of those cases, you need people to view what you have to offer. Finding the right audience is difficult at first, but with practice you will get better and better.

I think there is no bulletproof formula. It is just trial and error.

Start with $50.000 in PPC traffic.

$10,000 a month online is actually NOT that hard. HOWEVER its practically impossible to get to that point in one month. It took me 6 months to get to $5k a month, almost a year to get to $10k a month, and over 2 years to break the 7 figure per year barrier.

IM is NOT a get rich quick scheme, a magic money machine, or a lottery ticket. Its the IM Business because its just that, a business, and like any business you need to work hard, invest time, and build it up.

Oh I'll tell you how I achieved mine. No complications, no short-cuts, no magic bullets... and... no WSOs!

Just two things, done individually on two days:

1) Come up with an organized list of all the businesses (like real estate, lawyers, etc.) in your area.

2) Call them individually and offer your services.

Yes, it's gritty, it's old-fashioned, and yes you will get rejections, but if you are personable and have a fairly polished cold-calling approach, you will do very well.
