Paid ads advice for a beginner bing ads

Hi all,

I posted on here previously about being a newbie in affiliate marketing. I took all your advice on board and broke down the steps and started with one offer and one method. I have since tried using Instagram, building a following and adding a link in bio, building a facebook page and posting a link amongst value content, plus trying to promote other CPA offers. Conversion was very minimal and I realised that this method isn't as targeted. I now want to try paid advertising and would really appreciate some advice.
I have not built up an email list, I know that can be powerful and plan to come to that stage once I have more confidence. I would like to simply start with bing ads possibly, as understand their costs are lower than google and facebook but can still be quite effective.
So if there any bing experts who would kindly give me some pointers, I would be very grateful.
Thank you

    I'm not an expert, but I venture to say you'll want more than a forum post to provide some guidance and insight. Go to YouTube. Start with the Bing Ads Channel (There are 30+ videos) and then check out the videos from other marketers that usually offer some tips and tricks that will expand your knowledge.

    Try gathir.com, its a peer-to-peer ad network that has compiled hundreds of Instagram promoters that are willing to become affiliates. It is just as simple as posting a picture on Instagram, and will appear as a sponsored post that can be scheduled for specific times.
    I hope this helps you out!
    Kind regards

      In all due respect to you, I personally would NOT say it is the "best option". And it's mostly centered around MMO and self development niches. That's it

    Free traffic that you mentioned above regarding Instagram and Facebook can be very targeted (and rewarding).

    However the free stuff does take a lot of work and needs a long term plan.

    Bing ads can be a good go as well. I actually made my first sale online with them for a $500 sale back in 2006 (Microsoft Ads).

    However, this will require a learning curve (that can take from a few 3 months onward or more depending on how much understanding you have about ad copy, sales psychology ETC).

    And this learning can cost you a lot just to learn.

    I actually took a course (paid $97) that taught me how to use paid ads on Google and Microsoft ads back then.

    Someone above said look into you tube and if you do just make sure that what ever material you watch...

    Make sure it's up to date.

    Also make sure that you are offering a low front end offer (with higher back end products and earning potential).

    The backend profit helps keep you in the paid game longer.

  • Friend, no matter how much advice you are going to get about bing ads, or any ppc advertising won't matter much.

    There are too many variables when it comes to ppc advertising.

    * Your ad copy & images
    * Your landing page
    * Your sales page
    * Your thank you page
    * Your sales funnel.

    All of the above variables require testing and tweaking before you may see any return on your advertising money that you invested

    There is no quick fix or secret recipe, when it comes to advertising. It always requires trial and error, to see what really works best for your sales funnel.

    Also what might work for you on one advertising network, may not work on another.

    Watch some videos on YouTube on how to place your being ads successfully, without being banned using the service.

    Keep testing, testing and do more testing. Eventually you will master bing advertising.

    It all starts with taking action. If you want to get started with BingAds, try going through some YT videos on BingAds. Get the FREE 100$ coupon (whichever is currently active). Test it out and ask specific questions that you come across in the PPC section on WF.

    Key things to your success could be, Using your own landing pages, Trying to setup a Tracker without fail, Trying to collect leads and then sending them to your offer page, Sending Followup emails to your subscribers with your offer details.

          Hi @mia111

          I will advise checking RedTrack.io - really friendly tracker for beginners. It has a lot of sources and networks pre-set, responsive support and FREE plan to track up to 50,000 events. Paid subscriptions plans are highly affordable as well.

    I totally agree with Internet Trillionaire about everything, but what I wanted to say is...

    I've done advertising on many different platforms and, although I am far from an expert, I never could get a lot of traffic from Bing. Google Adwords are expensive in certain niches.

    My best ads have been from Facebook and I'm about to dive into Pinterest and Instagram.

    That being said, I think ANY ad network can cost you money while you test and tweak to see what's going to hit.

    Once you get that hit though, you can make back that lost money, but it can be a challenge.

    May I ask also, I am going to go ahead with bing ads but I am confused by all these networks where you can advertise too, 2nd tier ppc programs where min deposit is $100, but apparently the clicks cost less, what are those about? are they worth considering or best to avoid?

    There's a big reason why Bing ads are much cheaper and it's because of the traffic volume in relation to the giants that are Google and Facebook.

    Think of the % of people who search Google as opposed to Bing it must be at least 10 times, so Bing's rates should be at least a 10th of Google's prices or it's just NOT cost effective.

    My advice to you as still being a relative newbie is NOT to waste money on ads, but learn as much as you can via this platform, Google searches, YT videos and the Quora site (Q and A) and apply it to your approach going forward.

    Last few months I have been experimenting with facebook google and bing.

    Facebook I found very good to drive conversion when you have story based ads. If you want to see some examples then type frank kern or mike Dillard in your browser. Then open facebook. After some time you will see ads from these folks pop up. Study those. You will get an idea.

    Google ads are very good for Video or Banner ads on video. But they have a strict policy against affiliate marketing. You will have to do all your affiliate marketing inside your email responder. You can create your lead magnet and offer that to capture leads.

    Bing ads I have been trying but not getting results. One the affiliate programs I am enrolled in teaches bing ads. And people are getting leads for less than $ 0.80 . But I have not been able to replicate that success.

    From my experience I rely a lot on FB ads. They have laser focused targeting.

    So start with some small amounts and then scal as you get results. Also most affiliate programs give traffic training. So you can align with one that can help you in multiple ways. It can show you traffic methods as well as allow you to sell their products.

    Make sure you test and track your results. Don't delude yourself into false statistics. You may find that you get alot of leads from Bing Ads, only to discover later on that ALL of your subscribers are from India - and are NOT buying - or even engaging in your emails. But try it for your niche, every niche is different. Along with bing consider joint ventures and advertising on different sites in your niche.

    I don't understand how this would happen as the Geo-targeting on Bing ads is very effective.
