Here's a great deal for Camtasia 9 (plus some other programs) for $20. It's a legit offer.

This package is used to raise money for charities....

I've been using Camtasia 7 for a while now, so I thought it was time to upgrade. You do have to jump through a hoop or two to get into the site to get your keys. But for $20 I'll do a little jumping...

It may appear that you have to buy a subscription, but I didn't need to when I bought the package.

You have about 10 days to take advantage of this offer from the time I first made this post.

A quick note...Techsmith just released Camtasia 2018 a short time ago, making Camtasia 9 a little "old". But for $20 it's still a great deal. One of the best ways to get deals on software IMO is to buy older versions.

I bought it also. For Mac it is Camtasia 3. Support "says" that it has all of the features that v9 has. Odd that they would call it v3 for Mac and v9 for PC.

Thank you Kurt. I just downloaded Cam9 or $20 & Snagit (I'll look at the rest). I am just barely starting to make some videos and upgrading from Cam8 9 is great for only $20. Thanks again.

The only trouble I had installing was Camtasia requires a 64-bit OS, so my trusty XP Pro or Windows 7 machines would not work. Snagit looks to require a Windows 7 machine (I haven't tried to install it yet.)

Looks like the deal is over. They sold almost 50,000 packages. At $20 each that's a million dollars they raised for charity and we got a great deal.
