how can i find JV to promote the product?

    Have you listed it on wordpress.org? Does a couple of things for you... it VALIDATES your work. It allows you some amount of hick-ups to place the back end structure you will need in place. namely product support. are you really ready to release this to the world?

    Start with wordpress.org.. build some steam and the JV will come to you ( trust me )

      Thank you so much reply, it means alot to me.

      it's not available on wordpress.org

      so the first think i would do it, start working on listing it there on wordpress.org.

      and then come back again here..

      Honestly, i am happy, that people are active here..

    Recently, news broke that hackers were exploiting a critical vulnerability in WordPress plugin Simple Social Buttons.



    -Authenticated File Delete - which allowed authors the opportunity to alter data to delete files they were not supposed to have access to

    -Authenticated Post Type Bypass - which allowed individuals to create posts of unauthorized post types with specially crafted input






    The vulnerability allowed privilege escalation so that non-admins could take over administrator accounts or even whole websites.


    Unfortunately, WordPress, in attempting to make "load-scripts.php" work on the admin login page, forgot to put authentication in place.

    That means that it's accessible to anyone

    I wouldn't know about JV's but have you considered PPC/Google Ads? Sure it costs money but nothing is free. Finding JV partners is going to cost you your sweet time, and we all know time is money.

    Edit: I suppose you could use Google Ads to find affiliates/JV partners as well

    After you have THOROUGHLY TESTED / VALIDATED your plugin by letting WP users test drive it using Wordpress.org (as mentioned earlier in this thread), the next steps:

    Look for related COMPLEMENTARY (non-competitive) plugins

    Next, get in touch with the company/individual behind those offers

    You leverage each other's core competencies PLUS your JV partner probably already has a list of ready buyers since they've sold products complementary to your plugin

    Another alternative is to do blogger outreach
