Since this question usually pops up every July.. Figured it was time post this thread.

As the title is asking are you getting ready for the 2nd half of 2019 ? Perhaps you are promoting Amazon products the Holidays are 6 months away. Have you started planning your promotions already.

Maybe you are a newbie but that is thinking of selling a I.M. product now would be a great time to start. Want to share your ideas here ?

I have started saving several products to sell on e-bay for Black Friday till the end of the Season. Looking forward to see what some of you come up with.

Continue doing the same all the time.

Build a list because some people will not buy right away. Not a good strategy to wait for the holidays to promote something. Focus on evergreen products that sell all year long.

How true been selling stuff on e-bay most of the year. Good thing for newbies to remember is to sell year round. Their's a holiday every month why not make the most of it.

Why not do both? Evergreen is great! Taking advantage of peak times is also great!

Black Friday was so good for Amazon they basically created another one - Prime Day!

They are hyping a million products this year. Basically all evergreen.

The last two years Walmart and Target have joined in to benefit from the hype.

Good point Home Depot of Lowes had Black Fridays promotions in the Spring selling Outdoor products. Dell sent a offer out yesterday for their version of Black Friday in July.

My plans are to continue promoting my consulting services, and selling on ebay. Ebay is so fun. It's a great business to have if you know what you're doing - and if you know how to automate it to around 95%. Was always a fan of Ebay, never really Amazon. Well, i kinda, used to be.....

I'm branching out into social media marketing and testing myself to see if I can get at least the same results (income) as my other marketing strategies. I'm not an expert in social media marketing, but it's a very hot topic right now and information is easily accessible to do it right.

Due to the nature of my marketing (article syndication), I have to plan as much as 8-10 months ahead to get seasonal articles published. For example, most of this year's Christmas holiday marketing articles were placed in major magazines back in February-April for publication in November/December.

I sell mostly Amazon affiliate products year round through articles in online/offline publications, but the last three months of the year typically generate about 60% of the revenue for the entire year. I'm actually already planning now for next year's holidays (Super Bowl, Valentines Day, St Patrick's, Easter, Cinco De Mayo, Mother's/Father's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, etc).

Currently building a new keyword tool. I'm torn between selling it and using it to look for keywords to write about. Well maybe I'll have time to do both.

Other than that I'm glad I took the decision to focus on investing rather than making money online. So many niches are saturated now - the glory days are long gone.

I have 2 membership sites at present. For the next 3 months, I'll be making 3 more sites and, from October onward, promoting all 5 sites like hell.

That way, (along with 2 other marketing streams) I'll have 7 sources of solid income from January 2019 and hopefully catapult my income well into six figures.

Then pay an individual(s) to manage those sites for me whilst I invest in other business streams.
