Would You Trust Someone Else To Build Your Affiliate Sites?

Today, I do it for private clients and myself. In the beginning I sold niche sites publicly here on the forum and other services. Then I teamed up with other members and we started a membership site and sold niche sites, After a year of that I decided to do the same privately and have been doing it for almost 14 years.

Not only would you be competing with the nine million or so humans who will do it dirt cheap but there's also a plethora of "instant" affiliate site builder software available.

Finding customers would be the challenge.

I think it would depend on the results of the websites in question. There are people selling affiliate websites which are already generating a specific income per month. That should be easy to sell.

But just a website which "might" make some sales in the future, you might be able to persuade some newbies who don't know much, but working at the low end of the market is almost always a lot more trouble than it's worth.

The reality is that building a website is the easy part . . . actually getting traffic and sales is very much more challenging. So one could ask oneself if one wants to give something of genuine value to others, or just make money out of other people's ignorance? . . . whichever choice one makes will have an effect on ones own life, so I recommend choosing wisely

I think the best way of doing it would be in conjunction with a course that shows people how to build their own affiliate business. That course would show people how to find affiliate products to sell, how to build a site, how to market it and optimize it.

What you will find is that although many people want to do it all themselves, a fairly sizable percentage of them are lazy or "too busy" and would rather have it all done for them. Chances are, however, that many of those same people will also be too lazy/busy to market the sites and will ultimately fail (not really your problem/fault).

You could either offer it as a free course or a paid one.

You might also try to hook up with someone who already offers this type of course, offering your service as an add-on that they can market, kicking back some profit for each new site build they send you (they essentially become your affiliate).

A lot of work for very little mullah.

Since the introduction of instant-websites, like Wix and others, and due to the increased knowledge of putting together websites, AND due to the subsequent lowering of prices for such services, the perceived value has diminished quite a lot. Add to that the fact that, as someone pointed out above, you have an unholy amount of competition. Nutshell: I'd stay clear of the model.

Can you make money at it? Undoubtedly. If you can offer a decent web-building service and find a client who values it enough to take action, then of course you'll make a buck. But at what cost? What opportunity cost? You seem like a smart chap with a great many years of IM behind you. I'd say your time is far more valuable. I'd say it should be used in a different manner.

That said, IM services for people?

It's a very rewarding business. I speak from experience. What I'd suggest, though, is you bring what you have in mind to the current marketplace, the 2020 marketplace. There's a lot of money to be earned if you're good, have the right resources, and target the right audiences.

I don't get it. To me, if someone has the ability to create and grow affiliate sites would earn much more promoting their own affiliate products instead of just selling a service.

If another person/company makes a better website then I do, and their websites give me a higher ROI then I would do it for sure.
The time I save with another person building my affiliate website, I can invest in sales and service. What results in an even higher profit for me.

Im a service provider by "trade". I build sites, but not for "Affiliates" there is greater margins of profit elsewhere doing the exact same thing.

My question for the OP is "Why?" Meaning, why would you do this for someone else? I would rather spend the time at the "Affiliate" level creating my own sites, and reaping the long term financial gain. $500? $1000? $2000 now vs $1000+ per month say in 6 months time.

In the long term.. its NOT about what you can make today, but what you can leverage your time in today to make money from tomorrow on.

Given how many people spend anywhere from $5 (Fiverr) to $200 (Upwork) for 'custom' (really template-based/WP-powered) sites, a lot of people trust others to build their affiliate sites for them.

Not really a question of trust, IMHO. That market exists.

The real question is ROI

Site buyers would rather buy sites that are a) already indexed and ranking and b) already making money. As long as the backlinks of such sites are LEGIT, even a site making $25 per month would be a decent buy provided the buyer KNOWS HOW TO SCALE the site's traffic.

I build sites and I discovered that sites don't cost so much to build and even those that want you to build them a site most of the time are not willing to pay a good price cause they can get it quite cheap on Fiverr.

And it's not so easy getting people to buy a site from you.

I also think you can make a lot more money creating and selling your products as an Affiliate Marketer.

I think it's a good idea, because i personally also building amazon affiliate websites and selling for customers. I saw some people said that it's easy to build a site and that you can find such service even on fiverr...its totally nonsense, of course you could find some website building service on fiverr,but i think everybody imagine what quality of the service it would be...

To build good quality affiliate website cost a lot of money, you need wordpress theme which is not free, you need quality content (not some 2x 500 words article ,but at least 10,000 words of content), it cost a lot of money and of course most valuable part is your time.

So basically, if you know how to build the website,how to get/write best quality content, go ahead ,start building and i am sure you will find people who would be interested to buy such sites.

I used to sell a PDF course a while back that described how to build these sites. You could go that route and make like a video course for people and sell the course itself. But Clickfunnels is also an option if someone hires you to build out their funnel system.

I'm used to but the whole affiliate niche blogs. so it's a good thing!

If you are doing something else at the same time then you can hire someone to manage your affiliate marketing sites however its not recommended to share your affiliate network credentials.

At that point I collaborated with different individuals and we began an enrollment site and sold specialty locales, After a time of that I chose to do the equivalent secretly and have been doing it for very nearly 10 years.

I think if it is a good friend then why not?
