If you're really on a tight spot, you can do the following "immediate" solutions:
Step #3 is the most important one. When bankruptcy hits the family, everyone would be pointing fingers. The provider will feel under appreciated since he/she could no longer provide. The support system, spouse, will break, blaming the provider. The kids will blame the parents, the parents will blame the kids. You get the picture. It's bad. Really bad. My family experienced bankruptcy in the mid 2000s and if there's one thing I wish I could have changed, it's the communication part of it. Sure, the situation is dire and seeing the properties get sold one by one is heart breaking but at some point you must realize that you have to wake up. Someone has to "rally" the family into acceptance, accept what is happening and into taking massive action, do something about it. Step #4 is where you take action. One of the things that I've observed is people who can't get out of bankruptcy are in an indefinite stage of "denial". They deny what's happening to them. They refuse to get odd jobs to make money. Pride gets in the way. They want to get the same pay and the same job that they had before the financial turmoil. They "wish" that someone would magically appear and save them. It doesn't work that way. You have to take control of your life. The reason why I said apply to 10-20 jobs per day is because you are in desperate need to make money. You can't sit around like others, apply to one job and wait for that call from HR that you are hired. You need to increase your chances of getting hired. You need to apply to more jobs! Finally, don't lose sight of the goal and learn the lessons well. Once the finances have recovered a bit, plan your financial life better. Get books on finances, learn how the successful people do it, and then take action. Always remember that your boss will only teach you how to become a better employee. Your boss will not teach you how to become rich. You have to teach yourself that. Notice that I didn't mention any specifics of what jobs to apply. You already know what you can do. What I emphasized here is step #3 where you basically take care of the "emotional part" of the issue. At the height of my family's financial problem, we knew what we had to do, but no one seems to be able to do it consistently. Every member was emotionally breaking down. Everyone was in denial, everyone was blaming everyone else, no one wants to take responsibility. You see, looking back now, almost a decade later, it wasn't really that hard. But that's because I've already experienced and survived it. For those who are currently in these trying times...

If you need a chunk of money right now - like in a couple of hours, all you need to do is take an hour off from work, retreat to a quiet corner of your house and think - Out Of The Box! I always tell my students that the biggest and fastest earning methods are often the most simple ones. Of course you can set up a site, put up articles and products, do some SEO and also send some paid traffic to the site to make some profit... BUT, such models require a lot of testing to find out what works best, demand good investment in terms of time and money and almost always there's the risk of failure in the first couple of attempts. If you need a couple of hundred dollars right away think simple and think out of the box. For example: You could set up a free blog offering "Free Recipe Downloads" and promote the blog on pinterest. For the recipes, those are easily available on popular food sites. The problem is, no single place would offer say....100 paleo recipes as a free to download PDF. But, that's exactly what many on Pinterest might be looking for. But how to monetize it? Sign up with sharecash and co-bundle your free download with a short sharecash survey. Clearly mention on your blog that the PDF can be download for free if the user can spare two minutes to participate in an interesting but short survey. Sharecash [there are several other sites offering similar stuff, some even with higher payouts] usually pays a couple of cents to a dollar per survey. So even if you get 50 cents a survey and get 100 downloads - that's $50 right away. And, trust me when I say this - its very easy to get 100 people to download your pdf by just promoting a couple of pins on pinterest. As a matter of fact, you do it right for around 2 hours you can easily walk home with over $200! That's just one method I mentioned. Feel free to try it. The bottom line is - think out of the box, think basic and be prepared to take action. Cheers! |

| This is a great thread. Several people talked about "getting the head right" and "mindset." I'll add some science that might increase your willingness to take the time to shift your mindset. We are literally smarter when we feel emotionally good than when we feel emotionally bad. Our brains are able to see more positive potential outcomes when we have positive expectations than when our attitude is that all has gone to hell in a hand basket. No matter how bad your situation is, you can move to a better feeling emotional stance in a short period of time. I'll even give you a recipe that works. #1 When you feel bad you are focused on things that are specifically negative about your life experience. You wouldn't feel awful if this were not the case. Step 1 - Take your thoughts more general. If you're broke and don't know where your next meal is coming from it is very likely the Little Voice in your head has you out in the back alley beating you up pretty good for having gotten into this situation. That does not help you one bit. In fact, it hurts your efforts to recover. So go more general, I'm in a bad spot but a lot of people have been in bad situations and they've recovered. Some of them have even become highly successful. There is no reason to think or believe that what I am experiencing will be permanent. In fact, a lot of times, a situation like this is a turning point in someone's life that leads to improvements beyond where I was before things got this bad. I'm sure I'll be able to find something to eat, or get some help from someone or a religious institution, or a government agency. Something will happen that will turn this around. You'll see I mixed some general negative with some general positive. The real process is to go from specifically negative to generally negative and then step over into generally positive. I spend so much time in positive states of mind it is difficult for me to even come up with thoughts that resonate with someone in the lowest places. It is not that I have not been there...I've been hungry, I've been cold, I've thought death was a better solution than continuing, I've taken my child to the doctor knowing I could not pay the bill for a long time, I've felt totally alone and unloved, I've been broke and not known where the next dollar was coming from, but all of that is far behind me and the life I live now seems like an entirely different life. Which means, if I could be there and now be where I am, your life can get awesome, too. Once you're generally positive, you can see if you can find a specific positive thought. Generally positive tends to feel boring but your brain will work far better there than it will when your thoughts are specifically negative. Oh, and check the bottom of the closets, sofa cushions and under the car seats for coins. It might provide the money for the next meal. There are many great ideas above. But getting your mindset right is so important. It will also (if you're in the situation with others -- a partner or children) help keep the relationships from deteriorating. Low emotional states lead to behaviors we tend to regret. Believe in yourself. Don't beat yourself up in your head. You don't need to beat yourself to become motivated. You'll accomplish more and be more resilient if you're nice to yourself in your own mind. Show yourself as much love as you would a loved one who is down on their luck. Be compassionate to yourself. Find things to appreciate. Can't think of any? Take a deep breath. Appreciate the air. Appreciate that you have a nose and lungs. Appreciate that you have eyes that see, ears that hear. A body that knows how to function so perfectly that man remains far from able to produce a machine anywhere near as miraculous as the body you inhabit--regardless of any perceived flaws. It knows how to take nutrients from food and transport them where needed, it knows how to use food for energy, how to remove toxins, what to throw away, what to keep. So much to appreciate even if you have nothing. Best wishes to you. Joy |

I just came across this site: GoFundMe.com It's for raising money for personal reasons (e.g. illness), unlike Kickstarter.com which is more for businesses and creative projects. |

I like this thread, and wanted to say to those who are in that desperate mode right now I understand that a lot of what you're reading here might not be what you want to hear - but much of the advice given is pretty solid. Seven years ago I was in exactly that situation. Today I'm slightly there but for different reasons and have far more assets than I did seven years ago. In 1996 I teamed up with this young lady who had an idea for creating a business that made custom designs for special occasions. At the time I was a System Assistant for New York University, making pretty good money and when we did out business plan and she explained the scope of her idea I was it. We created an entire line of sexy outfits - 14 pieces in all - then started soliciting entry into medium and small fashion shows - which go on all over the place, at colleges, clubs and sometimes people just trying to make a name for themselves. We went to local college career centers and set up a work for credits program - which a lot of them offer their students - and grab friends and family and we had a work force and models. Between 1997 and 1999 we were all over our city, other states and we would do our shows while we passed out our service fliers and business cards. By 2000 we had a good amount of clients, huge word of mouth and an business that began to get some pretty good buzz. Making money with this I quit my job and NYU and went into the business full time. Our little business was growing so well we were getting noticed by big names in the industry - we were even invited to a second Grammy awards dinner I had no clue existed that was hosted by Bill Cosby and honor Benedetteernadette Peters (look her up kids, she used to be somebody.) |

By 2000 we had a good amount of clients, huge word of mouth and an business that began to get some pretty good buzz. Making money with this I quit my job and NYU and went into the business full time. Our little business was growing so well we were getting noticed by big names in the industry - we were even invited to a second Grammy awards dinner I had no clue existed that was hosted by Bill Cosby and honor Bernadette Peters (look her up kids, she used to be somebody) and backstage (or stages) of 7 on 7. So what happened? 9/11 did. Living in New York City some of the effects were obvious, some took a minute. One of them was a client located in Tower 2 whose employees used us especially during the holiday season (which for many business is the time they schmoozed with clients and potential clients by throwing holiday event parties.) They were 30% of our business. Things slowed down, there was some panic and the heart for doing the business was lost. When we finally had to close I was really a**-out. It was 2005, I had spend all those years doing this business. I tried to hold on and work around the issues but it seemed like everything was going wrong at once over the past four years. Finally I got kicked out of my apartment, the offices were closed to us because we were not making the rents - and when I say I was out in the cold, I mean seriously out. I had to put my stuff in so many different places I lot a huge chunk of it in the process. I was so broke at the time I was making the "oh God, it's him again" phone calls. That's the ones where you have to borrow money for things like food or transportation and people get tired of you called to borrow and they had that tone of voice. . .some of you might know what I mean. For one time I had to stay with my brother and his crazy girlfriend who did not want me there and made that clear every moment she could find. At one point I rented an room in an apartment that I paid weekly and when I missed one week they through me out without so much as a court appearance. And finding work post-9/11 was a trip. Before then charm and skill could get you over. Afterwards, either I was over-qualified or the places I was qualified for had so many applicants it looked like the line to big budget movie when you cam with your resume. Oh and at one point my family suggested I apply for public assistance. I've never had it in my life, and considered having it a weakness. They're logic was that I've been working all my life, paying my taxes and that's what it's supposed to be there for, to help in these types of situations. Well if you're an adult male whose never been to jail and is not on some kind of rehab program, have no kids, they do not help you at all. I was told this by the agent after waiting in a waiting area for potential guest on Jerry Springer for most of the day. Finally I accepted a crap job with pretty good benefits but pretty bad pay. It left me shell shocked and skittish about starting something new. Took me a minute to get past it. I told that story to show you I know exactly how anyone who is desperate feels. It sucks, and demeaning and it doesn't feel like there is a dawn coming in all that darkness. But much of what is being said on this thread in 100% right. You have do what you have to do to hold on. Even if it does not look like it, there is a light at the end of that long dark and scary tunnel. Good luck to you all. Umar H. Soaries |

Don't know of this is the answer your looking for, but the best bet is to get off your behind and find some work. Last year I lost my job and didn't have a clue what I was going to do, So, I bought a window cleaning kit for £15, already owned a ladder and went knocking on my neighbours doors. From that I built up a nice little round over the course of 3 months, enough to pY myself £250 a week. Not going to get rich but it paid the bills I then got asked to cleanup gutters and paint a house, this led to others wanting it done and hey presto I was warning £500 per week. That business is now thriving and I do okay. So youY ask why am I even on the forum, well, because I am always looking for ways to expand my income, I often have time on my hands so here I am, willing toward new things in order to better my life My advice, start small, work hard and the rest will follow Regards Gaz |

I'm going to say start a blog, write some good content for it and article syndicate! It will take some time, but you're creating a long term investment plan that will net you thousands later on if you give it time to grow into something more. How do you think these guys build these business lists of 20,000+ people? At that rate you would have an easy time making 10k a month just from list advertisement. Of course, that's not until further down the road, but paying your dues is just what you have to go through to make that money. I understand how you feel, and am in a similar situation. I would also say try to create a digital product of some kind and sell it. Especially if it's money making related. |

It is not at all easy to MMO – especially so if you are a newbie – harder still if you are a newbie and you have no money to invest in an online biz, but still you feel that there is instant cash that can be made online. The only thing instant is perhaps instant coffee. But, most people who come to MMO believe that there is a Pot of Gold lurking somewhere at the end of that big ‘ol internet rainbow. Ok, I am rambling, best to get to the point. There is a lot of money to be made in affiliate marketing, but it takes a great deal of time and effort - and also money to buy a domain, hosting, auto-responder and what not. And then – drive traffic to your site. So, though there is a lot of money to be made from affiliate marketing, it is not going to happen overnight and definitely tends to dishearten a lot of people who want to MMO – even forcing most of these people to quit. The answer to MMO – think of something that you can do - designing, creating videos, writing etc – and sell that service on a site like Fiverr – you can start making a good $20 a day – that is $600 a month. A good idea would be to check-out Fiverr and see what is being done, a lot of ideas can be got in this way. All the best. Regards. |

The whole problem with the MMO niche is that it's usually marketed as being way too easy. Eg. I slept last night and woke up to see $X thousands in my account and so on... Yes, that's possible once you're really advanced with a huge 5 or 6 figure list or perhaps with over 20 products to your name with 1000s of affiliates competing to earn you more WSOs/Products of the day. But the harsh reality for any newbie is starting from ground zero and working all the way up. As covered by several good posts already, I guess i'm just rewording what's already been said. I would go with the fiverr route or even say iwriter.com, write articles, and do whatever services that IM marketers need all the time. Then once I've got some money to stay afloat, invest in some good courses while learning the ropes. Free traffic methods to start with, followed by paid traffic for faster results once I've got some seed capital. Then keep scaling and building up from there. Promote more products, go both deeper and wider. Build a list, and for every sale you make, try to think of what you can do to multiply it. |

If you need to cut down your expenses you could slash your budget, but you could also create some serious structural change in your life by living or long-term travelling around in developing countries where you can live for a fraction of the price and work remotely. Sure, places like South Asia have fairly slow Internet access and certain parts have unreliable power, but if it costs one-fifth or one-tenth what it costs to live in the West, it's worth it. Particularly if you like to travel.

Truth of the matter is, if u are truly desperate--- u need 2 figure out why u got in that position 2 begin with before looking for a shot in the arm that takes u from "desperate" to Xanadu. Because if u can't come 2 grips with the "why" u are not being honest with yourself. Any warrior whose been around this joint long enough realizes that most of you will fail and fail miserably. Not because you are bad people....but because you have this belief that "internet marketing" is a business unto itself rather then the medium that it is. It starts with a compelling offer. (No it doesn't start with your computer.) And when I mean compelling....I don't mean used and beat up PLR regarding why Humming Birds Humm or Bumble Bees Bumble. Int he end....you HAVE 2 SELL SHIT PEOPLE WANT. PERIOD. Not theory.....but stuff people WANT and NEED. Use this forum....to build credibility with quality posts....and leverage that into a WSO that actually is unique and delivers VALUE. Value that doesn't require 10 friggin' OTO's and an Up-Sell that leads 2 a road called "Gotcha Sucker." Keep it real. Find that one niche that you are a true bad-ass in....and make your passion contagious. And even then it might NOT be enough..... But unless U take concerted action in the market place.....and test your offers...you are living in the land of little green men and fairies. Roll the dice. Promote something that 250K others aint promoting.....position yourself as the authority....and get in the market. Stop wasting a lifetime on "theory." Nobody buys "theory." They buy results. Stay Legendary, Vince |

The goal is to quickly validate or invalidate your idea. His idea wasn't perfect and his website was far from perfect, but he hit his goal by working hard and focusing (tweaking things as he went along). Another takeaway from this... If you're looking to make money quickly, it will likely take some sort of direct communication. That doesn't mean cold calling, but throwing up a website and hoping for $1,000 in 24 hours is likely not going to happen. "If you build it, they will come" does not happen. You have to go find "them." And talk to them... -Josh

Any time you are REALLY suffering from a lack of money - like if you have $5 to your name - you hold some limiting belief about money that blocks money from moving into your life. Spend 1, 2 or 5 hours daily working on your mindset.....every spare minute you have.....because making enough money to be free, or to at least get out of your dire straights, is more important than anything. Also, do what you gotta do. Put your ego aside. Get a job bagging groceries, or being a security guard - I was a security guard for 5 years - or doing anything legit online or offline, to build your confidence, and to prove to yourself that you can make money. BUT spend virtually all of your spare time meditating, reading prosperity books, visualizing and affirming to conquer your money problems. |

Then spend some time thinking about what you will need to RAISE your income -- new skills, training, contacts, etc. And make a plan to improve. DO the steps in your plan. You'll find you have more value to offer in the marketplace and your income and choices will improve... And that will do wonders for your mindset

I have made most of my money when I have had a good mentor. In 1993 I had 2 good IM mentors and by 1994 I earned 5 figures a month for the rest of the year. To cut a long story short, eventually my income dried up and it wasn't until 1999 a new mentor came into my life. This time it was in the Network Marketing field and for the next 2 years I was again earning a 5 figure income until the company decided to leave the UK From 2002-2005 my next mentor was actually my brother who taught me everything to do with PPC and between us we earned a 5 figure monthly income for 3 years. Most of our income was coming from commission from a well know ISP where we sold broadband and phone packages via PPC but in 2005 they decided to stop the program for affilliates and we were left high and dry. It wasn't until December 2013 (a month ago) my next mentor came into my life. She has come just at the right time because I got made redundant from work and my last official day was Xmas Day Every cloud has a silver lining (I've always believed this) and now I know within 3 months, with my mentor's help I'll be earning 3 times as much as I was working full-time and by the end of the 2014 my target is 10 times more than my last job So my advice is find yourself a good understanding mentor. Someone who will work with you and help you, and you won't go wrong. |

Going to Craigslist sounds like a good start, but how do you filter through the garbage. Some of the gigs are legit, but most are not. Life is hard and a lot of times we have to take a gig doing something that we don't like until something better comes alone, some money is better than no money.

Thank you to the dozens and dozens of people who suggested fiverr. More thanks to those who reported on actual experience. I read all 20 pages and took notes. The offline marketing ideas are excellent, but they're really not for the clueless. Selling on ebay works, but it you don't have a paypal account and you've never listed an item there's a learning curve. I noticed an ad on the subway the other day, big ad with a link to a site to apply as a sperm donor. There may be a few here essentially performing the service for free... why not get paid for it, right? Loved the comment someone made, "first of all, it's not your fault." How about assuming some responsibility and fixing the problem? A little dose of reality that may help someone. I bought an old van off craigslist while I was employed selling cars. Posted ads on craigslist in services: labor/moving for mini-moves and deliveries. Very simple. Get a pickup or van. Post ads. People call, you make money without being chained to a job. I buy stuff at yard sales, auctions and estate sales then resell on craigslist, ebay and amazon. People who are moving also get rid of stuff, some of which I take because it's easy to flip. Combining a simple lifestyle with the above services gives me more than enough scratch and free time to read 20 pages of desperation and stock up on WSO's, Kindle books and Amazon books about marketing, offline and on. Lately, I love reading Dan Kennedy. I have a number of blogs. I'm closing in on twenty-five cents with adsense today. Determined to slay the affiliate marketing dragon. I have a wordpress IM blog with a free offer that totally sucks. How do I know? Can't give it away. This thread has given me numerous flashes of insight. The free offer is backed with a PPL (pay per lead) offer, but what good is a PPL offer if you're clueless about traffic? My point? Determination and focus. You gotta do what you gotta do to make a buck, without getting stuck. Two days ago I purged my library. I have three bookcases that now contain about 30% less books and my printers and supplies and what not all neatly arranged. I organized my /biz folder, where all my WSO's, plugins, themes, and guru propaganda land. At the top is guru.steve.scott and high.ticket.dynamite -a WSO. The best way to get out of a desperate situation is to not get in one in the first place. Cold hard cash today is all that matters no matter what level you're playing the game on. Kind of like fishing. You stand on the shore or you cast your line from a boat but you don't swim to the middle of the lake and drop a line to catch a fish. The IM game takes a combination of ingredients to master that can't be trivialized. |

Hi All, I'm new to the warriorforums and relatively new to Fiverr and am thankful to have found such a great resource here! I was wondering if anyone has any experience with genealogy on Fiverr and if they've any suggestions on generating more traffic? When I first opened my Fiverr account, I received a lot of orders and now, 2 months later, nothing. I have 100% positive feedback and truly enjoy providing quality research on people's family trees and histories. Any suggestions would be most welcome!!! Thanks in advance! P.S. You can find my gigs on http://fiverr.com/researchwriter, if that helps you understand my question better! |

I have a moving/delivery service that I offer on craigslist. There have been occasions when all my regular helpers were unavailable. Posting in gigs gets me dozens of immediate responses for helpers who will receive a minimum of $40 for a job that will take two hours or less. I require a cellphone, ask where they're located and ask what their aptitude is. You'd be surprised at how many responses fail to satisfy these criteria. Craft an intelligent response and answer your phone if you're replying to gigs!

Blog Entries: 54 | For fast cash now look no further than facebook. Find stuff in you're home or garage that you can get rid of. Take good pictures and write a description and how much you would be willing to part with your items. Then log onto facebook (assuming you have an account) and search for "Your City" + Yard Sales" Join as many of those groups you can and then post your description, pics and price. Meet the person that wants the item in a public place and collect your cash. Simple and no paypal and auction fees. No shipping costs. Rinse and repeat multiple times. This is a really simple strategy and I make $4,000 a month with this one strategy alone. Good luck! |

It's hard work to make that kind of cash in a month. Some months I make less and some I make more. However, that is my sales average per month for 2013. The trick get on several yard sale groups. And you will need a lot of inventory. Right now I have over 2500 square feet filled with Antiques, appliances, furniture that I have been refinishing, cleaning and selling. To make that kind of cash you also have to sell high ticket items and know how to sell them along with a mix of smaller stuff. Believe it or not. P.S. This thread is how to make fast cash when your broke... not everyone will be able to duplicate my strategy at first. The point find something you are willing to sell and sell it on facebook local yard sales for cold hard cash now. |

We're talking fast. The fewer skills, the better. So I'd eliminate services like web design, writing, video production, etc. Left with no skills, I'd have to go with arbitraging items on ebay/amazon/craigslist/overstock/etc. Buy low on amazon and sell locally on craigslist for higher, or any other price discrepancy between 2 stores. You could even build a simple website posing as a storefront and post local signs for items you found at e/a/c/o. This is dropshipping so keep in mind you don't have any products to sell. Doesn't matter tho. Try to focus on what people in your community want. If you live near a marina, for example, sell boating related stuffs and post your signs near the marina. Then when they make a purchase, you go to e/a/c/o, buy it, and have it shipped directly to their house, and keep the difference. Easy. Quick. No money. No skills. Or arbitrage international labor on the outsourcing/gig sites. Or join an MLM if you think you can get people into the business or know exactly where to find customers quickly. Product, website, sales, customer support, etc is done for you. Still, no skills needed. |

My Best bet is if you're desperate try going to the Public Library find a Good CPA program such as payday they're free to join and pay $1.50 to $5 per lead then get a domain name and redirect it to your CPA affiliate link and print it out on paper from your Public Library and promote it in as many Public Places you can find.

If you are desperate to make some money try to sell something on Fiverr or other clone website. I can offer one idea: make season logo changes (Santa Hat on company's logo, Easter eggs an so on). It is difficult to find someone to teach you how to make money online, because you will become competitor. But there are ways to find mentor so when you make money, they make money too and it is win win situation. And I am not talking about MLM. Find someone you can trust (like I did). See if they reply fast and give you value, before asking to pay... |

I don't have any great ideas to add here, but a few weeks ago after losing my job I was feeling desperate and read through this entire thread. It was inspiring and amazing and I thank each and every person who took the time to contribute an idea. I really appreciate it and I'm sure everyone who has felt desperate does too. I'll be recommending this thread for a long time to come!

Selling services is a great way to get started in this field. Almost anyone can write articles or have a backlinking service. Once you master these it is quite easy to move into services that pay much more. It is the perfect business to start and once you move to an advanced level the pay is also very good. Kate |

Wow, this thread keeps coming up! I think I've put my two sense on here before, but I'll be happy to blither on even more....lol. Desperation isn't the base to start a business, however, the main things to me are: 1. Get a mentor 2. Take action 3. Build momentum Remember, slow and steady wins the race! |

I would say go to your local discount store and find closeouts or specials to turn around and sell on Ebay. Second, and maybe better, find things to sell on Craig's list for quick cash. Stabilize yourself with that, then create an information product of your own. The overhead and profit are larger. Sell that while building an email list. Make sure to feed your head with positive affirmations. Free your mind, and your A$% will follow.

Sit down, breathe and assess yourself. List down your skills, education, capabilities, etc, then offer your services in different places. I am a rockstar writer, and I am desperate right now, too, so I'll sell my writing services in WF at a later time.

My suggestion is to become a "bird-dog" for real estate investors within a range you are willing to drive. 1] Be on the lookout constantly for : (A) abandoned homes (B) homes that have been foreclosed and DO NOT have a real estate for sale sign yet (C) homes that you may have knowledge of may be headed for foreclosure (D) homes for sale which seem to have been on the market forever and do not sell. 2] Take note of these properties and find out what you can. Zillow.com will often have specs on that property. 3] Find your local real estate investment club. The investors who look for deals 365 days a year will be glad to engage an efficient bird-dog and pay for leads. Serious investors make a habit of attending these local meetings. 4] Make a business card and if you have a lead, get up on your feet at the meeting and announce yourself. That is what the people at these meetings expect and welcome. Even if you do not have a viable lead , announce yourself and pass out cards. Investors love bird-dogs. Most investors will know what to do with the different type of leads mentioned above. Once you learn the business , and it is simple to do so, you will make connections and get start earning commissions for leads and perhaps find yourself learning something about a business that can lead to significantly greater horizons for yourself. Additionally real estate matters are becoming increasingly integrated with internet marketing. So a person who is attracted to IM is likely well suited for the business of real estate. There is more to it than just flipping homes as seen on TV. To find your local investors meetings ; {this is not an affiliate link in any way whatsoever} Real Estate Investing Information That Works! Almost every investor club registers themselves on this popular site. You can search your state and find this resource easily. PM me if you have any questions. Good luck, there is an enormous amount of opportunity out there if you have a little inside information and are open to it. |

As an addendum to my learn how to be a bird-dog reply. Many IMers have skills they may take for granted. Simple things, like how to set up a Word Press site. How to use an autoresponder, do email marketing, etc., etc. If a IMer looking to create some cash flow were to show up at their local real estate investment club meeting and offer themselves as a bird-dog. They could also offer their skills in setting up websites, manage email lists, whatever it is they know how to do. The majority of investors and wanna be investors at these meetings may know they need these things and will not have a clue as to where to start. Passing out flyers promoting your services will likely lead to some paying clients. |

If you have half an idea with the internet... Quickly learn how to set up an Adwords campaign, then approach offline businesses and offer to manage a campaign for them. Drill yourself on the subject constantly so that you know more than the average person. Charge much less than everyone else. |

If you are desperate then find a good mentor and follow him/her blindly. Don't use your own mind and experience because if you do it will always keep you desperate and will waste your several years in desperation.

1. Sell your plasma , and hair any time you can. 2. Look for people who need a housesitter. It's practically like passive income sometimes. 3. Sell something on Fiverr as the above person mentioned. If you can make something simple like a pdf or something to benefit people you can sell it and all you have to do for each customer is send it to them. Make sure you make a good sales video and give 100% satisfaction to your gig buyers. |
