Advertising on TikTok

OK, so I am on Tik Tok right now and have created some videos and posted a link where I want to get visitors to my website.

But here is something you should know if you want to use their platform.

They do not allow you to direct people, that click on your link in your video ad, to an opt in page.

I tried that and it doesn't work. They will reject your ad.

But what you can do is send people to a sales letter or a VSL (video sales) that links to your opt in page.

Are you using their platform? What do you think of their ad platform?

    Good to know. I had great experiences using a pre sell page linking to an optin page on youtube. So I believe that it works on TikTok as well.


    However I moved away from using TikTok because I could not target english speaking countries (with organic content) when I'm not living in one myself lol..

      Ask a friend or family member in the US to create a tiktok account and give you the login and run ads that way

    You advertise stick to the rules and guidelines and advertise based on the goal that you want to achieve .I am guessing you can pause your campaigns and do a little tweak if need be ?

    To answer your question I advertise organically right now although I will be investing a few dollars into some ads .

    Good to know. One of the best takeaways I've seen about TikTok Ads on the content side is to make your ad video as similar to other videos on the feed as possible (giving a humanized, authentic feel).
