Which of these would you consider the better option?
This "2 options" thing makes tracking a major headache.
I've been really getting into learning about funnels, data tracking, paid advertising, etc lately. I've also gotten some great advice from really knowledgeable marketers as well, and most would agree that a landing page should always have just ONE SINGLE goal on it, whether that is to make a sale or to collect an email address.
As a result, I have eliminated the "free membership" option from my home page, leaving it as only the option to buy.
I created a whole separate landing page for the free membership as well.
I've also updated the links in the descriptions of all my YouTube vids as well. Now, instead of just having one single link that points to my home page, I have 2 links - One that goes to my homepage (if they want to buy), and one that goes to the free membership option.
It's only been a few days, but as a result I've noticed that there have been much less people signing up for my free stuff. I plan on primarily using FB ads to get leads from on, but I still feel like I'm losing a lot of potential free leads with this change.
I'm wondering which of these 2 options you would consider to be the better one:
1.) Keep my home page as it's always been, with the 2 options on there
2.) Stick with the new model where the "leads" and the "sales" are on 2 separate landing pages, which makes tracking/optimization much easier
Thanks!
